아파트 지하주차장의 균열방지 대책 - 현장사례조사를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Flaw Prevention Countermeasure of Crack in Apartment House Underground Parking Area)

  • 공간의 효율적 이용 및 법정 주차대수 확보 등으로 아파트 단지의 지하층은 대부분 지하주차장으로 활용되고 있으며, 주차장상부도 시공 중에 성토 및 포장공사가 완성되지 않은 상태에서 작업차량의 통로 및 자재 야적장으로 사용되고 있어 과하중이 작용되고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 시공중이거나 완공된 지하구조물에서 지속적으로 균열 및 누수현상이 발생하여 구조물의 성능저하는 물론 많은 금액의 하자보수비 투입, 민원유발 및 대외적인 신뢰도 저하 등 많은 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 시공중인 아파트와 준공된 아파트 지하주차장을 대상으로 현장조사를 실시하고, 그동안 실시한 안전진단 사례를 참고하여 아파트 지하주차장의 균열 및 누수현상 원인을 파악하고 그에 따른 설계 및 시공상의 방지대책을 마련하는데 있다.

매설환경에 따른 배수관망의 누수발생원인 특성분석 (Development of a Probability Model for Burst Risks of Water Main using the Analysis Methods of Leakage Type)

  • In this study, we extracted effective factors of pipe burst from the status data of water asset, operating data of pressure, volume and etc. and 7 years' pipe burst and repair records. The extracted factors were sorted by each attribution and then a statistical analysis was performed to generate a pipe burst probability function using the logistic regression model. As the result, material, diameter, length, laying year, pressure and road width affected to pipe burst significantly. Especially, in case of small diameter, laying year was most effective factor and in case of steel pipe, external loading was main cause of burst, and in case of cast iron, PE, PC, HP pipes, the deterioration of joint was main cause. The other side, as a result of Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness of fit test the models are turned out significant statistically. Also the classification criteria were determined to minimize the total cost from classification errors, when the predicted probability was more than 18% this pipe could have a chance of burst.

  • RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintenance) has been applied to design and analysis tools which affects system's operational sustainability and its life cycle cost as RAM-c(2009 DoD). RAM-c plays also an important role to guarantee the system engineering for mission assurance. Reliability is highly related to the probability of system failure. Availability means mission capability or the condition of ready to mission. Maintenance includes both the repair to recover the system in the event of failure/unexpected breakdown and proactive maintenance to prolong the design service life of the system or machinery. It is the purpose that this paper is to analyze and conclude the objective service life of UAV. The more UAV is operated, the less the level of its reliability becomes. Repairing failures and supplying spare parts on time, system reliability could be improved up until the time over target. Applying statistical Weibull distributions, this paper suggests the analysis of the design service life and economic life of UAV based on RAM-c with operational data.

Analytic Hierarchical Procedure and Economic Analysis of Pneumatic Pavement Crack Preparation Devices

  • Various approaches have been used in crack preparations and each of the approaches has advantages and disadvantages. Although the routing method has been widely used and seems to be the best approach among the approaches, it is not a complete solution for crack preparation. This paper compares and evaluates a pneumatic crack cleaning device (CCD) developed by Robotics and Intelligent Construction Automation group at Georgia Tech, over existing devices. Surveys were conducted to discover factors that affect the performance of crack/joint preparation work. Then, data for such information were collected via field tests for devices such as router, heat lancer, air blower and CCD. Performed field test results and follow-up interviews demonstrated that the utilization of CCD has potential to offer improvements in productivity, safety, and maintenance cost. An analytic hierarchical procedure (AHP) and economic analyses were conducted. The AHP analysis considered three factors including safety, quality and productivity while the economic analyses examined the alternatives in various ways. The results indicated that the CCD was ranked first and second for the AHP analysis and economic analysis, respectively. In conclusion, the field tests and results revealed that the utilization of CCD achieved satisfactorily in performance, quality, safety and control, and showed that it has high potential in crack cleaning practice.

  • 최근 가스 터빈 엔진의 설계에 있어서 엔진 운용 및 정비에 소요되는 비용은 중요한 설계변수로 대두되었다. 이에 따라 엔진의 유지 및 보수가 조립상태에서 이루어져야 한다는 개념이 확대되고 있으나, 실제로 이것은 엔진의 상태를 정확히 예측할 수 있을 때에만 가능한 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 항공기에 장착/운용 중인 각 성능요소들을 측정하고 분석하여 엔진 성능을 진단하는 가스경로해석과 퍼지로직을 적용한 엔진 성능진단 코드를 개발하였으며, 이를 스마트 무인기용 터보축 엔진에 적용하여 지상 정지 상태에서의 엔진의 단일 성능저하를 정량적으로 예측하였다.

  • Subway routes $1\sim4$ were constructed in gravel roadbed track structure in consideration of the technological capabilities, construction cost and duration at the time of the initial construction. As such, 224.8km, approximately 81.2% of entire length, of total length of railway track at 276.9km was constructed on gravel roadbed. However, improvement of gravel roadbed to concreted roadbed began in 1998 due to problems including frequent repair works and limited time application for such works caused by occurrence of tract distortion during operation as well as lowering of roadbed functions and generation of dust caused by frictional power, impact absorption capabilities, abrasion and crushing of gravel on roadbed. Currently, this improvement is continuing with target of converting entire route into concreted roadbed structure. Therefore, this Study modifies formula for setting cant, analyze the correlation between wearing of rail side of the curvature and cant insufficiency following increasing of the running speed of the train, and to present the directions for fundamental review for adjustment of cant insufficiencies at the time of improvement of gravel roadbed to concreted roadbed that is being implemented on the operational tracks of the railway trains.

Study on New Candidate Coating Materials to Challenge Rudder Cavitation Damage

  • Ships' hull is typically protected by a combination of protective coating system and electrical cathodic protection system, which has been an economical and effective measure for ship's hull to date. However, ships' rudder and adjacent hull areas are known to be subjected to premature corrosion damages, which require more frequent coating repair than other hull areas. Conventional organic coating system for ship's hull has been known only to remain intact just for 2~3 months on the rudder and adjacent area, especially for the fast-going ships such as container carriers or naval vessels. In this study, special organic/inorganic coating materials, which are commercially available, were tested in terms of cavitation resistance as an alternative to existing rudder & hull protection system. Both standard ultrasonic tester and in-house developed ultra water jet test method were employed as a means to evaluate their performance against cavitation induced damages. Additionally, the overall cost evaluation and workability at actual shipyard were discussed.

Evaluation of Deterioration on Steel Bridges Based on Bridge Condition Ratings

  • Recent developments in Bridge Management Systems (BMS) and in Life-Cycle Cost (LCC) of bridges, have raised the need for evaluation procedure of future condition (Deterioration) of a bridge. Predicting future deterioration is not an easy task due to limited past data to extrapolate from and also due to difficulty in measuring actual deterioration such as section loss of steel on an actual steel bridge. Also, increase in live load and reduction of resistance are random variables, thus a probabilistic approach should be adopted for determining the future deterioration. Due to difficulties in evaluation of future deterioration on steel bridges, accepting uncertainties within a reasonable error, a deterministic procedure using bridge condition rating can be a useful tool for projection of future condition of bridges to identify repair and maintenance needs. The object of this paper is to determine applicability of evaluating deterioration of steel bridge components based on Bridge condition ratings. Bridge condition ratings of bridge components show wide variation for bridges of same age and does not directly correlate well with the age of the bridge and/or deterioration of the bridge. High uncertainty can be reduced by breaking down the rating and by sensitivity analysis. From refined condition rating data, generalized deterioration profile of structures based on age can be derived. Examples are shown for sample bridges in USA. Approximately, 3,000 short to medium span steel bridges were listed in the inventory database. Results show wide variation of rating factors but by subdividing the Bridge condition ratings for various categories general deterioration profiles of steel bridges can be determined.

  • Clustered regulatory interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) in association with CRISPR-associated protein (Cas) is an adaptive immune system, playing a pivotal role in the defense of bacteria and archaea. Ease of handling and cost effectiveness make the CRISPR-Cas system an ideal programmable nuclease tool. Recent advances in understanding the CRISPR-Cas system have tremendously improved its efficiency. For instance, it is possible to recapitulate the chronicle CRISPR-Cas from its infancy and inaugurate a developed version by generating novel variants of Cas proteins, subduing off-target effects, and optimizing of innovative strategies. In summary, the CRISPR-Cas system could be employed in a number of applications, including providing model systems, rectification of detrimental mutations, and antiviral therapies.

  • The precise detection of electric leakage point of underground power cable is very important to reduce cost and time of maintenance and prevent electric shock accident through expedite repair of electric leakage point. This paper proposes a electric leakage point detection system underground power cable using of half-period modulated transmission waveform and earth electric potential measurement. The developed system is composed of transmitter to generate the wanted pulse waveform, receiver to measure and display earth electric potential by the transmitted pulse in electric leakage point and PC Software program to display of GPS coordinate on detection cable line. The performance of the electric leakage point detection system was tested in the constructed underground cable leakage detection test bed. The test results on signal generation voltage precision of signal transmitter, mean detection earth voltage, mean detection leakage current and electric leakage point detection error showed the developed system can be used in electric leakage point detection underground power cable.
