  • The internal streets of mixed-use commercial complexes, which are the extension of urban streets, are being changed from a mediating space aiming at movement to a staying-type space according to the change of mixed-use commercial complexes. And they function as a resting place of user with court and plaza, and act as an urban public space, and accommodate an activity arising from the gathering of many people. As a result, a role of new relaxation and community space is played in the center of the city. And the aspect of publicness is brought into relief. Hence, this study is intended to examine the characteristics that the internal streets of mixed-use commercial complexes have, and furthermore, it is intended to show the planning characteristics in the contemporary mixed-use commercial complexes. With regard to the method of research, first, space configuration and role of internal streets was examined according to the change of mixed-use commercial complexes on the basic of precedent research and literature review. And the internal streets of mixed-use commercial complexes were classified into doorway part, traffic line, and open space. And the characteristics of internal streets in the mixed-use commercial complexes through the concept of architectural 'publicness' were derived as accessibility, amenity, perceptibility, openness, connectivity and symbolism. The internal streets of mixed-use commercial complexes should be changed by the space planning to secure continuity with the city on the basis of accessibility and connectivity and to reinforce visual openness in the internal streets in order to improve amenity and perceptibility, accordingly the mixed-use commercial complexes will be also born again as symbolic public space in the city. Variously changing elements to improve publicness very importantly act on the planning of internal streets in the mixed-use commercial complexes, and therefore researches should be continuously carried out.

  • We came to the conculsion after considering all of information from many kinds of books on the cause, pathogenesis and treatment of Flaccidity-syndrome. The results were as follows : 1. Flaccidity-syndrome means limb-relaxation due to muscle atony that isn't able to constraction. It's begun as mild degree from extremities, in some cases ended to quadriplegia or expire. 2. Cause factor and pathogenesis of Flaccidity-syndrome is various. After Lung fluid consuption caused by heat-evil was refered in The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine. They were refered as cause factor that Main channel asthenia, excess of sexual intercourse, wetness-evil, heat-evil gets into the interior, asthenia of the spleen and stomach. Since Ming Dynasty, It's classified to wetness-heat evil, wetness-phlegm, deficiency of vital energy, deficiency of blood, deficiency of yin, blood stasis and indygestion, etc. 3. In the view of treatment of Flaccidity-syndrome, Yangming was selected in The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine, and it's been mean to clear away wetness-heat evil located at Yangming. In the method of acupuncture it was same on the base, and many skills have been used that electronic acupuncture, point-injection theraphy, acupuncture point block, catgut implantaion at acupuncture point, cutaneous acupuncture, auriculo-acupuncture and head acupuncture by the through post generation. 4. Flaccidity-syndrome was defined to weak, disuse and non-pain. Beacause it was non-pain, so medicine to expel wind-evil was prevented to use. But through post generation Flaccidity-syndrome has been treated that is able to cause pain or numness as arthralgia-syndrome. Therefore there is tendency that medicine to expel wind-evil is capable within pathological basement of Flaccidity-syndrome in recent. 5. In the view of west-medicine, Flaccidity-syndrome is diplegia or quadriplegia with sensory disorder, muscle atropy in some cases. And there are spinal disease, peripheral nerve disease, muscular disease, nerve-muscle copula disease. The symptoms are able to amyotomia, numness, sensory disorder, pain.

  • Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology provides high data rate and enhanced quality of service for wireless communications. Since the benefits from MIMO result in a heavy computational load in detectors, the design of low-complexity suboptimum receivers is currently an active area of research. Lattice-reduction-aided detection (LRAD) has been shown to be an effective low-complexity method with near-maximum-likelihood performance. In this paper, we advocate the use of systolic array architectures for MIMO receivers, and in particular we exhibit one of them based on LRAD. The "Lenstra-Lenstra-Lov$\acute{a}$sz (LLL) lattice reduction algorithm" and the ensuing linear detections or successive spatial-interference cancellations can be located in the same array, which is considerably hardware-efficient. Since the conventional form of the LLL algorithm is not immediately suitable for parallel processing, two modified LLL algorithms are considered here for the systolic array. LLL algorithm with full-size reduction-LLL is one of the versions more suitable for parallel processing. Another variant is the all-swap lattice-reduction (ASLR) algorithm for complex-valued lattices, which processes all lattice basis vectors simultaneously within one iteration. Our novel systolic array can operate both algorithms with different external logic controls. In order to simplify the systolic array design, we replace the Lov$\acute{a}$sz condition in the definition of LLL-reduced lattice with the looser Siegel condition. Simulation results show that for LR-aided linear detections, the bit-error-rate performance is still maintained with this relaxation. Comparisons between the two algorithms in terms of bit-error-rate performance, and average field-programmable gate array processing time in the systolic array are made, which shows that ASLR is a better choice for a systolic architecture, especially for systems with a large number of antennas.

  • For the investigation of dopant profiles in implanted $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$, the implanted B and As profiles are measured using SIMS (secondary ion mass spectrometry). The fundamental ion-solid interactions of implantation in $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ are discussed and explained using SRIM, UT-marlowe, and T-dyn programs. The annealed simulation profiles are also analyzed and compared with experimental data. In comparison with the SIMS data, the boron simulation results show 8% deviations of $R_p$ and 1.8% deviations of ${\Delta}R_p$ owing to relatively small lattice strain and relaxation on the sample surface. In comparison with the SIMS data, the simulation results show 4.7% deviations of $R_p$ and 8.1% deviations of ${\Delta}R_p$ in the arsenic implanted $Si_{0.2}Ge_{0.8}$ layer and 8.5% deviations of $R_p$ and 38% deviations of ${\Delta}R_p$ in the $Si_{0.5}Ge_{0.5}$ layer. An analytical method for obtaining the dopant profile is proposed and also compared with experimental and simulation data herein. For the high-speed CMOSFET (complementary metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor) and HBT (heterojunction bipolar transistor), the study of dopant profiles in the $Si_{1-x}Ge_x$ layer becomes more important for accurate device scaling and fabrication technologies.

  • CG200745 is a novel inhibitor of histone deacetylases (HDACs), initially developed for treatment of various hematological and solid cancers. Because it is water-soluble, it can be administered orally. We hypothesized that the HDAC inhibitor, CG200745, attenuates cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis in deoxycorticosterone acetate (DOCA)-induced hypertensive rats. For establishment of hypertension, 40 mg/kg of DOCA was subcutaneously injected four times weekly into Sprague-Dawley rats. All the rats used in this study including those in the sham group had been unilaterally nephrectomized and allowed free access to drinking water containing 1% NaCl. Systolic blood pressure was measured by the tail-cuff method. Blood chemistry including sodium, potassium, glucose, triglyceride, and cholesterol levels was analyzed. Sections of the heart were visualized after trichrome and hematoxylin and eosin stain. The expression of hypertrophic genes such as atrial natriuretic peptide A (Nppa) and atrial natriuretic peptide B (Nppb) in addition to fibrotic genes such as Collagen-1, Collagen-3, connective tissue growth factor (Ctgf), and Fibronectin were measured by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). Injection of DOCA increased systolic blood pressure, heart weight, and cardiac fibrosis, which was attenuated by CG200745. Neither DOCA nor CG200745 affected body weight, vascular contraction and relaxation responses, and blood chemistry. Injection of DOCA increased expression of both hypertrophic and fibrotic genes, which was abrogated by CG200745. These results indicate that CG200745 attenuates cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis in DOCA-induced hypertensive rats.

  • This paper deals with tomographic travel time inversion of three dimensional seismic refraction survey conducted over a dipping interface. The slowness, and thus velocity as its reciprocal, distribution on the subsurface interface is to be determined applying an ART with under-relaxtion parameter. The models chosen are realistic, i.e., most likely to be met in engineering seismics, and the interface includes anomalous zones. It is found that, generally speaking, the inversion could be misleading or meaningless without the correction of the dip of the interface. This is rather surprising when we recall that usual assumption for the interpretation of refraction seismics data is the horizontal attitude of structures within the limit of $15^{\circ}$ dip or so. To make the present method tenable for a new means of routine seismics, some practical ways of identifying head wave arrivals are to be devised.

  • This study aims to view the architectural space of the postmodern era as a concept of continuous change without being fixed, and to understand the spatial elements in architecture with a changing network of relationships. The purpose of the study is to analyze the spatial composition strategies of the two architects while revealing the spatial characteristics shown in Rem Kolhaas and SANAA's works in terms of relativity. The method of the study defines the meaning of non-fixed relationships through theoretical considerations of relativity and then looks at the architectural approaches of Rem Kollhaas and SANAA. The relationship was divided into programs, environments, users, and furniture and furniture in the space and analyzed the works of the two architects. As a result, both architects are similar in that they reject rigid programs by organization and use potentially inherent relationships for building space activation purposes, while Rem Koolhaas uses the user's behavior-inducing strategy, while SANAA uses the user's relaxation strategy.

  • We outline a process for estimating Cole-Cole parameters from time-domain induced polarization (IP) data. The IP transients are all inverted to 2D Cole-Cole earth models that include resistivity, chargeability, relaxation time, and the frequency exponent. Our inversion algorithm consists of two stages. We first convert the measured voltage decay curves into time series of current-on time apparent resistivity to circumvent the negative chargeability problem. As a first step, a 4D inversion recovers the resistivity model at each time channel that increases monotonically with time. The desired intrinsic Cole-Cole parameters are then recovered by inverting the resistivity time series of each inversion block. In the second step, the Cole-Cole parameters can be estimated readily by setting the initial model close to the true value through a grid search method. Finally, through inversion procedures applied to synthetic data sets, we demonstrate that our algorithm can image the Cole-Cole earth models effectively.

  • Sparse unmixing has been proven to be an effective method for hyperspectral unmixing. Hyperspectral images contain rich spectral and spatial information. The means to make full use of spectral information, spatial information, and enhanced sparsity constraints are the main research directions to improve the accuracy of sparse unmixing. However, many algorithms only focus on one or two of these factors, because it is difficult to construct an unmixing model that considers all three factors. To address this issue, a novel algorithm called multiview-based spectral weighted and low-rank row-sparsity unmixing is proposed. A multiview data set is generated through spectral partitioning, and then spectral weighting is imposed on it to exploit the abundant spectral information. The row-sparsity approach, which controls the sparsity by the l2,0 norm, outperforms the single-sparsity approach in many scenarios. Many algorithms use convex relaxation methods to solve the l2,0 norm to avoid the NP-hard problem, but this will reduce sparsity and unmixing accuracy. In this paper, a row-hard-threshold function is introduced to solve the l2,0 norm directly, which guarantees the sparsity of the results. The high spatial correlation of hyperspectral images is associated with low column rank; therefore, the low-rank constraint is adopted to utilize spatial information. Experiments with simulated and real data prove that the proposed algorithm can obtain better unmixing results.
