고인성 섬유보강 시멘트 복합재료의 복합구성에 의한 휨 특성 (Bending Property of Composited Ductile Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composite, DFRCC)

  • Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composite, DFRCC has strain hardening property with multiple crack in failed of compressive, tensile, bending force, concrete is not so that. But DFRCC could not use to the building element for which has not structural stiffness only has ductile property. DFRCC is used for repair only in recently. In that reason, we considered the concrete of light weight concrete, porous concrete, mortar complex with DFRCC. and DFRCC reinforced by fiber net, steel bar. In this study, results of experiment on complex method of concrete and DFRC were shown as follows; The complex methods of concrete lay on DFRCC, sandwich layer composition were effective for bending force depending on section size each layer, and reinforce DFRCC by fiber net, steel bar was effective method also.

  • In this paper, a nonlinear finite element procedure is presented for the analysis of reinforced concrete shell structures. The 4-node quadrilateral flat shell finite element with drilling rotational stiffness is developed. The layered approach is used to discretize behavior of concrete and reinforcement through the thickness. Material nonlinearity is taken into account by comprising tensile, compressive and shear models of cracked concrete and a model of reinforcing steel. The smeared crack approach is incorporated. The steel reinforcement is assumed to be in a uniaxial stress state and to be a smeared in a layer. The proposed numerical method for nonlinear analysis of reinforce concrete shells will be verified by comparison with reliable experimental results.

  • When press concrete with high W/B was hardened, it should consider a crack to make stress by drying shrinkage. For control of crack, wire-mesh used to reinforce concrete in site. Actually, it reported failure case in lack of quality control. This study conducted experiment to apply fiber reinforced press concrete. it was evaluated on fresh property, compressive strength and shrinkage crack of press concrete with fiber.

  • This study is to investigate the properties on the load-deflection and fracture behaviors of the steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC) slab model specimens, Steel fibers of indent, crimp, and end hook shape were considered to reinforce the matrix under various mixing conditions and proportions. Initial cracking load, maximum load, and energy absorption capacity(load carrying capacity) of SFRC panel specimen increased with increase of steel fiber contents. And the plain concrete slab was fractured abruptly after maximum load but SRFC slabs were fractured smoothly by steel fibers in concrete matrix operated as cracking resistance force after maximum load. Indent, crimp and end hook shape steel fibers were effective in reinforcing the matrices but end hook type fiber were superior to indent and crimp type fibers.

  • As a part of recent CO2 emission reduction studies in the concrete industry with active use of concrete admixtures with low basic unit of CO2 emission such as blast furnace slag (BFS), basic unit of CO2 emission by SBFS was computed in order to assess CO2 emission by reinforced concrete building with smart blast furnace slag (SBFS). In addition, SBFS concrete was applied to the subject building for assessment of CO2 emission during material production step among construction steps. Life cycle CO2 emission assessment on the subject building was classified into 7cases according to mix ratio of BFS and SBFS.

용융황 침투에 의한 콘크리트 구조물의 물성 증진에 관한 연구 (Reinforcement of Concrete Structure by Impregnation of Molten Sulfur)

  • This study aims to reinforce concrete structure by impregnation of molten sulfur. The improved properties of sulfur impregnated concerete were confirmed by compressive strength test and water proof effect. Following variables were adopted to evaluate impregnation parameters ; 1) the effect of water content in concrete structure (0-8%) 2) impregnation time of molten sulfur(0-22hr) 3) impregnation temprature of molten sulfur(13$0^{\circ}C$, 14$0^{\circ}C$). In partial ponding experiments, the concrete specimen of sulfur impregnated by 2wt% yields 1.5 times higher value of compressive strength than that of control one(non-impregnated concerte). In complete ponding experiments, the mortar specimen of slufur impregnated by 12-14wt% yields 2-3 times higher value of compressive strength than that of control one (non-impregnated mortar). From the examination of X-ray diffractions, $\alpha$-sulfur was found in concrete pores. Homogeneous impregation of molten sulfur into concrete pores was also identified with poresize analysis and micrographs of SEM.

  • The proportion of maintenance work has been increasing due to the recent aging of the infrastructure, but the standardized construction cost estimation standards are insufficient for this. In particular, reinforced concrete structures are being applied to many structures such as buildings and bridges, and various construction methods for maintenance of reinforced concrete structures are being developed and applied. In this study, we surveyed about the current status of the construction method for the maintenance work of reinforced concrete structures and analyze the factors of the revision of the construction cost estimate standard for the reinforced concrete structure maintenance.

  • Nowadays, the fiber which mixed with concrete matrix always has low adhesion with cement paste. It's difficult to use fiber to reinforce the structure. For more adding fiber in concrete would cause some problems as the low flowability and surface polishing. Further study is needed in fiber using. In this research, further study in fiber reinforced concrete has been invested. Various fibers with different properties have been used to prevent cracking. Fiber reinforced concrete's fundamental properties as slump, air content, compressive strength and tensile strength have been tested. Optimum type of the fiber and optimum addition ratio of fiber has been invested to increase the utility of the fiber which used in concrete.

  • In this study, a simple and accurate model equation for prediction of shear strength of reinforce concrete beams without web, reinforcement is proposed based on basic shear transfer mechanism and modified Bazant's size effect law. The proposed equation includes the effects of concrete strength, longitudinal steel ratio, shear span to depth ratio and effective depth. Comparisons with published experimental data indicate that the proposed equation estimates properly the effects of these factors. Among many equations, ACI code equation, Zsutty's equation and Bazant's equation are selected for comparison. As the result, the accuracy of the proposed equation is better than that of any other equations.

  • Most reinforce concrete Columns of Building structure are subjected to both axial load and biaxial bending. However, It is hard to estimate the moment capacity of biaxial bending by exact solution. Thus, columns under biaxial bending are designed by approximate methods in practice. The purpose of this study is to compare experimental result with approximate methods and exact solution by computer. Parameters of the present test are compressive strength of concrete (350, 585, 650kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$) and shape ratio of rectangular section. Ultimately, an experimental shape factor for rectangular RC column section is obtained through the test program. The shape of load contour is dominated by this shape factor obtained experimentally. So, reasonable design of RC columns subjected to both axial compression and biaxial bending depends on load contour.
