  • Soundtrack dissonance, which appears in the background music of a movie scene, is a phenomenon of using songs or compositions that contrast with the general sentiment of the situation. A sad scene usually uses a slow tempo of sad music to match the mood of the scene. However, sometimes, in order to play background music that follows a depressing, sad, or anxious scene, there is a case of inserting music with an opposite atmosphere such as bright music, exciting music, fast-tempo music, or magnificent music. The method of presenting music that is contrary to the mood of the scene is a kind of psychological technique that inflicts a kind of mental shock on the audience and makes them remember a particular situation. In this study, we have investigated the meaning coming from scenes and Soundtrack Dissonance in movies, in order to understand the role that music and images play.

  • The Amundsen Sea in West Antarctica is one of the most affected regions by climate change, but it is one of the least studied realms due to difficulties in access. Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI) launched a research project in the Amundsen Sea in 2010 using the icebreaker research vessel (IBRV) Araon and has been conducting various research initiatives. In this paper, previous researches derived from the Amundsen Sea Embayment by Korean researchers are introduced. Through previous studies, researchers have been able to interpret the environmental and biogeochemical changes according to the inflow Circumpolar Deep Water (CDW) and provide information for climate models. In particular, researches using radiocarbon isotopes (14C) were introduced to understand the physical and biogeochemical mechanisms of the carbon cycle in the Amundsen Sea. Opportunely, with the construction of a second icebreaker research vessel, the direction for systematic and long-term polar data acquisition can be presented.

  • Numerical values of the Auger coefficient and the free carrier absorption (FCA) coefficient are extracted by applying deep neural networks (DNNs) to the L-I characteristics of 850 nm GaAs/AlGaAs laser diodes. Two elemental DNNs are used to extract each coefficient sequentially. The fidelity of the extracted values is established through meticulous correlation of L-I characteristics bridging the realms of simulations and measurements. The methodology presented in this paper offers a way to accurately extract the Auger and FCA coefficients, which were traditionally treated as fitting parameters. It is anticipated that this approach will be applicable to other types of opto-electronic devices as well.

  • 'Déconstruction' is a system of thought that induces the emergent property that characterizes contemporary philosophy. The tradition of ancient Greek philosophy evolved over and over again, giving rise to the Renaissance and Enlightenment. It seemed to have reached its end under the historical perspective of modernity. However, contemporary philosophy wanted to see more possibilities through the deconstruction of modern philosophy. If modern philosophy dreams of a strange cohabitation between God and man with the humanistic completion of Plato's philosophy, modern philosophy rejects even that through deconstruction. Although Plato's classical metaphysics is a stable system centered around the absolute, it is ultimately based on God and religion. Under that system, human autonomy is only the autonomy bestowed by God. Contemporary philosophy is one of the results of efforts that try to begin philosophy from the original human voice through deconstruction. Instead of epistemology dependent on metaphysics, they wanted to establish epistemology from human existence and realize the best good that would set humans free through deconstruction. As such, it is no mistake to say that deconstruction is also an extension of the modern topic of human freedom. Deconstruction and human freedom act as one body in that the two cannot be separated from each other. Oddly enough, Daesoon Thought, which seems to have religious faith and traditional conservatism as main characteristics, has an emergent property that encompasses modern and contemporary times. The period of Korea, when Kang Jeungsan was active and founded Daesoon Thought, has an important meaning for those who have a keen view of history. Such individuals likely think that they have found a valuable treasure. This is because that period was a time when ideological activities were conducted due to an intense desire to discover the meaning of human freedom and envision a new world without copying the ways of the West. Instead they looked to face internal problems and raise people's awareness through subjectivity. In other words, the subtle ideas created by Korea's self-sustaining liberalism often take the form of what is commonly called new religions in modern times. Among these new religions, Daesoon Thought, as a Chamdonghak (true Eastern Learning), aims to spread a particular modern value beyond modern times through the concept of Haewon (the resolution of grievances) that was proclaimed by Jeungsan. The Haewon espoused in Daesoon Thought is in line with the disbandment of modern philosophy in that it contains modernity beyond modern times. First, Haewon means to resolve the fundamental resentment of human existence, which arose from Danju's grievance. Secondly, Haewon in Daesoon Thought encompasses the Haewon of the Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity centers on a Haewon-esque style of existence called Injon (Human Nobility). Haewon in Daesoon Thought can be understood in the same context as Derrida's philosophy of Deconstruction. Modern deconstruction attempts to expose the invisible structures and bonds within human society and attempt to destroy them. In a similar way, Haewon endeavors to resolve the conflicts among the Three Realms by releasing the bonds of fundamental oppression that hinder the Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity.

  • Objectives : KangHaiChengZhiLun (亢害承制論; If Excess Brings Harm, Lifing Qi (承氣) Restrains) was originally a theory that explained how the realms of nature remain in harmony and equilibrium. It later became an important theory for clinical trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine, explaining the physiological and pathological mechanism. Methods : The researcher considered all the annotations and the original text of SuWen(素問), LiuWeiZhiDaLun(六微旨大論) and theories of medical practitioners who applied KangHaiChengZhiLun(亢害承制論) to their clinical trials. Results & Conclusions : Wangbing (王氷) went with a theory that phenomena of Lifting Qi (承氣) take place in the realms of nature when Qi (氣) flourishes. In XinJiaoZheng(新校正), he wrote about two theories: one was that Six Kinds of Natural Factors (六氣) first work as the main Qi (本氣) but later bring about Lifting Qi. (終見下承之氣說); the other was that excessive Stagnation Qi (鬱氣) can be exploded and invite another accompanying Qi, Lifting Qi. (甚者兼其下承之氣說) Liuwansu (劉完素) had a theory that if Six Kinds of Natural Factors go disproportionately excessive, it becomes accompanied by imaginary Qi (假象) that conquers self. (反兼勝己之化說) $Wangl{\ddot{u}}$(王履) maintained that Lifting Qi usually works as a means to prevent Six Kinds of Natural Factors (六氣) from becoming rampant; but when Six Kinds of Natural Factors become overly excessive, Lifting Qi restrains them in order to maintain equilibrium. (防之與克勝說) Yutuan explained that since Excessive Qi (亢氣) does damage to the mother of Lifting Qi, Lifting Qi restrains Excessive Qi to protect Original Qi (元氣), its mother. (護救承者之元氣說) Gongtingxian was in favor of two theories: one argued that causes and symptoms of a disease differ from each other. (體用不同說); the other said that diseases are naturally cured if the patient finds out the time when Lifting Qi gains strength. (得承之時自愈說) Mashi (馬蒔) had a theory that Lifting Qi is generated when Six Kinds of Natural Factors are prosperous and reveals itself when its season comes. (極則生承氣 至本位著說) Zhangjiebin (張介賓) asserted that when Six Kinds of Natural Factors are thriving, Lifting Qi, as a restraining force, is generated to disperse the thriving natural factors and leads to a new one. (前之退而後之進說) Zhangqi (張琦)'s argument was that if Lifting Qi restrains the main Qi, a son of the main Qi is generated and every four season goes in harmony. (承氣制則生化說) Hemengyao (何夢瑤) had an argument that a son of the restrained Qi succeeds to its father and later achieves equilibrium by restraining Excessive Qi. (被克承父 制之平衡說).

  • This study aims to examine visitors' usage intention of the mobile AR(Augmented reality) application for tourism in Korea. For this purpose, the study analyzed how three attributes of AR tourguide app such as interactivity, vividness, and novelty have influenced on the tourist in terms of three realms of their flow, their experience (education, entertainment, esthetics, and escapism), and their usage intention for the future. It conducted an online survey from 20 to 30 year-old 291 participants and used a structural equation modeling. Survey findings show that first, novelty has a positive influence on the state of flow in AR application after vividness; Interactivity does not any significant effect on the tourists' flow. Second, when tourists explore the flow in the AR tourguide app, it affects all realms of experience economy of education, entertainment, esthetics, and escapism. Third, when using AR tour guide app in the context of historical heritage site, the two dimensions of entertainment and education influence the usage intention but the other two of esthetics and escapism does not. This study has presented a theoretical contribution that it focuses on historical sites as one type of tourist attractions and suggests a new modeling integrating AR attributes, flow, experience, and usage intention. In addition, it can be used to become a practical reference for revising an user-oriented AR application and customer-tailored AR tourism.

  • The aim of this study is to explain characteristics of Maitreya and Maitreya belief from a point of view that 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya(甑山卽彌勒)'. In 『Jeon-gyeong』, Maitreya is mentioned several times. Thus, new religions of Jeungsan of Daesoonjinrihoe take 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' belief for truth. Due to the fact that characteristics of Maitreya are so multi-layered and complicated, it is necessary to explain clearly what kind of feature Maitreya has in 『Jeon-gyeong』. If believing and following 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' without clarifying it, they will be faced with a problem that they regard Jeungsan of Supreme being of the Ninth Heaven as one of Maitreya and take its belief for truth. Furthermore, with respect to the characteristics of 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' belief, while believing in Mireukasaeng, longed-for Millenarian movement by people through Messianism and Mireukasaeng belief is found in Daesoon Thought, whereas there is a need how to understand the point that we cannot finped Messianism and Millenarian movement in Daesoon Thought. To solve this problem, I draw a conclusion that 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' in 『Jeon-gyeong』 has to be understood with two meanings by four demonstrations. First of all, the people perceived late Joseon dynasty as the age of decadence but Maitreya's divinity which is desired by the people is not divinity of Maitreya Sutra(Mileuggyeong). Maitreya's divinity is reflected in the people's cherished desire and it is newly created as the Messiah. Thus, the idea of Jeungsan being the very Maitreya was developed in a way that the people desired the Messiah, encompassing this inclination. That is the Messiah of the people and the divinity of Jeungsan. Although Jeungsan as Supreme being of the Ninth Heaven satisfied the people's desire, it shows a different way to salvation from the way in Maitreya Sutra(Mileuggyeong). It is 'the Great Reordering of the Universe' and 'the Great Reordering of the Three Realms'. Reordering in Jeungsan shows that divinity of Jeungsan is not limited to the people's Messiah. In other words, divinity of Jeungsan is established as The Messiah, surpassing divinity of Maitreya Sutra(Mileuggyeong). And following statements prove this divinity of Jeungsan. Jeungsan's emphasis is not only the people's desire and the Gods' appeal. Jeungsan's emphasis is that only does Supreme being of the Ninth Heaven correct heaven and earth, which is the Gods' appeal. Therefore, 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' belief embraces the people's Messianism and at the same time it runs with he Gods' appeal. Thus, Reordering through the Great Reordering of the Universe and the Great Reordering of the Three Realms builds up a new ideal world.

  • The study consisted of a survey of the residential satisfaction level of the 3rd grade students and a survey of accessibility from farms for practical field training to public facilities. According to the geographical location of the farms on the map, the average distance to facilities related to convenience or safety and health that students complained was about 12km. And that to social and public facilities was about 4.4km. Students pointed out the convenience of using transportation, commercial and convenient facilities, and the safety of anti-crime security facilities as complaints during the practice session. Residential satisfaction levels in five realms, such as facility and structure, convenience, safety, comfort and sociality, were not all reached at the satisfaction level. In particular, the satisfaction level of female students was sub-normal in the safety and convenience realms. The average satisfaction levels reviewed by department were sub-normal for horse industry and floriculture departments. By residential patterns, satisfaction with sharing with the farmers was higher than with other patterns. And satisfaction level by housing structure was much lower in the assembly and container structures Since residential satisfaction level is determined by the inside and outside environment of the dwelling, college should provide students with accurate and vivid data using information communication technologies.

  • This article attempts to identify cases of healing described in Jeon-gyeong (The Canonical Scripture), Daesoon Jinrihoe's main scripture, by type and examine their characteristics and implications. Jeungsan compared the Former World to a diseased state such as "a boil on the body" and the point of "annihilation." By diagnosing the world as falling under the dominance of sanggeuk (mutual contention) and executing cheonji-gongsa (the Reordering works of Heaven and Earth) for 9 years, He attempted to change the order of the universe from sanggeuk (mutual contention) to sangsaeng (mutual beneficence). In order to save all the people in the world, Jeungsan tried to "resolve the grievances and grudges accumulated from time immemorial by recalibrating the Degree Number of Heaven and Earth, harmonizing divine beings, and establishing the Later World's paradisiacal land of immortals which will be based on the principle of mutual beneficence." In this context, it can be said that in Jeungsan's cheonji-gongsa, which aimed to save and restore to normalcy throughout the Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, there is an implied remedial meaning. If Daesoon Jinrihoe's tenets, creeds, aims, precepts, ethical rules, and other cultivation methods, can be correctly understood and practiced, then the healing process will also take place concurrently. Thus, the healing implications seen through this remedial principle can be distinguished into healing via cheonji-gongsa on cosmic level and healing through cultivatory practices on human level. In addition, the process of healing and restoration throughout the Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind are in line with the practice to ultimately attain the religious aims of Daesoon Jinrihoe, which indicates the justification and significance of healing cultivatory practices.
