In this paper, a new reduced-order dynamic observer method is presented. Two types of observers are pronounced, namely, the model based reduced-order dynamic observer and the Luenburger type reduced-order dynamic observer. Useful design algorithms are also provided for each structure. The essential features of the proposed observed design methods are addressed to be qualified ad effective observers. The proposed method clarifies the duality between the controller and observer designs.

This paper deals with the recent achievements in AMT data acquisition and processing, which have improved the quality of the collected data,. Comparing AMT with VES, IP and logging data, it is concluded through some case histories that qualified results can be achieved in probing the karst water with AMT technique.

Recently, enterprises have focused on quality improvement for delighting their customers. Especially, all business sector have checked, analyzed their consumer complaints in detail on their products and made a plan to reduce them. But there is a limitation not to solve them. This paper presents one of tools to reduce non qualified product on their operation line directly by modernized IT technology after analyzing and making the plan.

Weld examination is one of the most important processes to ensure the integrity of facilities of Nuclear Power Plants. Weld examination must be the implemented based on the approved plan, the qualified examiners and equipments. Weld examination management system provides functionalities for planning of inspection, reporting the examination results, and managing the examiners and equipments.

QAMDI(Quantified Acid Mine Drainage Index) was developed for more synthesised, qualified and quantified assessment index which can be applied to both coal and metal mine drainage. QAMDI is calculated using three parameter groups i.e. acidity, sulfate contents and toxic metal contents. Since QAMDI expressed in terms of concentration. It reveals the different status of each mine drainage more clearly. QAMDI can be converted to the quantity of pollutant loading by being multiplied by the water flux.

The performance of machine tools is qualified by many test procedures given by the national/international standards or respected organisations. Among them, test regarding circular-interpolation accuracy is getting to be one of the important acceptance tests at the production level. Machine tool systems are composed of many mechanical and electronical sub-systems so that it is not easy to improve dynamic performance by examining only one particular part. Instead, overall systematic approach encompassing all the contributing elements is necessary to achieve good results. In this study, measures taken in circular accuracy improvements will be explained case by case.

In this paper, we designed and fabricated a fast switching system for high power pulse. This system consists of a voltage conversion circuit, high voltage charging circuit, trigger circuit, and discharging circuit. Especially discharging line is designed by strip-line for low inductance and resistance. The experimental result is that current slew rate of the system is 6.67kA/86ns and this result is fully qualified for initiating EBW or EFI

This paper is a study on a nuclear water chiller. It presents a test-verified finite element model of a water chiller to be used at a Nuclear Power Plant. The test-verified model predicts natural frequencies within 5% for all major modes below 50 Hz. This model accurately represents the dynamic characteristics of the actual hardware and is qualified for its use in the final stress analysis for seismic verification.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the issues and problems of interior design education in Korea and to further present guidelines for curriculum development and research on interior design education in Korea for the 21st Century. Content analysis and scholastic inquiry from various sources were used to examine the issues concerning 1) professional identity, 2) curriculum structure, and 3) creative scholarship including interdisciplinary approach. Identification of these issues presented in this study will allow interior design educators to help prepare interior design students who are qualified to lead the profession in the future.
