  • This paper presents the evaluation procedures and the estimation method for the estimation of optimal rebate level for EE(Energy Efficiency) programs. The penetration amount of each appliance is estimated by applying price function to preferred diffusion model resulted from model compatibility test. To estimate the optimal rebate level, two objective functions which express the maximum energy saving and operation benefit are introduced and by multi-objective function which can simultaneously consider two objective functions the optimal rebate level of each appliance is estimated. And then, using the decided rebate level and each penetration amount, the priority order for reasonable investment of each high-efficiency appliance is estimated compared to the results of conventional method. Finally, using a benefit/cost analysis based on California standard practice manual, the economic analysis is implemented for the four perspectives such as participant, ratepayer impact measure, program administrator cost and total resource cost.

  • This paper deals with self-tuning of fuzzy control systems. The fuzzy logic controller(FLC) has parameters that an: input and output scaling factors to effect control output. Tuning method is proposed for the scaling factor. In this paper. it is studied to control and to monitor the remote system statues using SOAP for communicate between the server part and the client part. The remote control system is controlled by using a web browser or a application program. The server part is waiting for the request of client part that uses internet network for communication each other and then the request is reached. the server part saves client data to the database and send a command set to the client part and then the client part sends command to controller in a cool chamber. The administrator can control and monitor the remote system just using a web browser. The effects of membership functions, defuzzification methods and scaling factors are investigated in the FLC system.

  • In this paper, we propose the automatic demand response systems which reduce the electric power consumption for the period automatically distinct from the existing passive demand response that a subscriber directly controls the energy consumption. The proposed systems are based on SEP 2.0 and consist of the demand response management program, the demand response server, and the demand response client. The demand response program shows the current status of the electric power use to a subscriber and supports the function which the administrator enables to creates or cancels a demand response event. The demand response server transmits the demand response event received from the demand response management program to the demand response client through SEP 2.0 protocol, and it stores the metering data from the demand response client in a database. After extracting the data, such as the demand response the start time, the duration, the reduction level, the demand response client reduces the electric power consumption for the period.

Some institutions has been using develop Computational System including reliability process. A majority of the system has computerized maintenance work, but it is shown that developed focus on administrator and developer not user. SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation) has developed computational system for maintenance in the '90s and saved many data about Maintenance Historical Data. However, this system reached the limits application of this data. Maintenance of computer systems is managed directly by the field staff and to introduce Reliability-centered maintenance SMRT was continually reviewed system development trends and supplement the existing system. To successfully operate RCM program should be gained full support in the whole company and field communicate, secure a reliable data from field and the most important take a patience. Our corporation will operate and develop successful RCM thorough review of these problems in the future.
