  • To keep enterprise's competitiveness on condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only production and maintenance but also related Industrial safety. As we analyze in the surveys for the maintenance management of domestic enterprises and the causes of industrial accident, there will be necessity of drawing up countermeasures for prevention of industrial accidents and for ensuring expertise maintenance technologies. Based on these analyses, this study studied the safety information system, maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique by using of the knowledge-based system under the internet environment. This web based knowledge-based diagnosis system can easily provide not only the knowledge of expert about deterioration phenomenon of industrial robot, but also the knowledge of relating safety and facility on everywhere, everytime. Therefore, when we use this system, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety.

  • In the past the pattern of business down-trend usually appeared in the form of, first, decrease in facility investment, then decrease in inventory level, followed by reduced level of consumption. But the pattern nowadays is becoming just the opposite, that is, first, consumption decrease, then inventory level increase, followed by restriction of facility investment. Also in the past, the greater effort was placed in strengthening of hardware areas through optimization and modernization of production means on the premise of sales. But lately software areas take most of the main effort to establish production mean with sales as its objective. Under these circumstances one of the real problems facing production activities today is the conflicting relationship between sales and production functions. This occurs due to differences of their view points. Then, in order to achieve maximum profit at the least cost, which is the ultimate objective of a production activity, the need arises to effectively coordinate sales demand and plant production capacity. For this purpose strong control means and function must be devised. In our case study example we illustrate a management technique for a combined planning function, of optimal coordination of product mixes utilizing a computerized linear programming model as control means of attaining maximum profit. It is hoped that this example help achieve some of corporate objectives.

원예전문생산단지 운영에 대한 중요도-만족도 분석 (Importance-Performance Analysis of Operation of Specialized Complexes for Horticultural Production)

  • 본 연구는 시설원예 작물 재배 농가들을 대상으로 응답자들의 항목별 선호도를 분석하고, 농업현장에서 농민들이 체감하는 원예단지에 대한 만족도와 문제점을 파악하고 평가하고자 하였다. 분석 대상은 크게 생산관련 소모품 공동구입, 온실시설 기자재 공동구입, 공동 육묘 생산, 공동 냉난방시설 사용, 공동출하, 토양 검사 및 인증제도를 포함하는 공동 활동부분과 생산기술정보, 온실시설관리정보, 유통관련정보, 생산기술교육, 온실시설관리교육, 유통관련교육을 포함하는 정보교류 및 교육부분으로 나누었다. 공동활동 부분의 IPA분석결과 소모품 공동구입, 기자재 공동구입, 공동출하 항목이 중요도와 만족도가 모두 높아 지속적인 유지가 필요하며, 공동육묘 생산, 공동냉난방 시설 등 2개 항목은 중요도와 만족도가 모두 낮아 우선순위를 낮추어도 될 것으로 판단된다. 소모품 및 기자재 공동구입에 대한 단지별 생산자 니즈를 파악하고, 원예전문생산단지가 수출집중형인 경우에는 공동출하 체계를 적극 활용해 수출대상국별 경쟁력 있는 교섭권을 더욱 강화해 나가야 할 것이다. 한편, 육묘장과 냉난방시설의 경우, 정부지원을 받아 시설을 소유하고 있는 비율이 높기 때문에 중요도-만족도가 낮은 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 $CO_2$ 저감을 위한 환경친화적 신재생 에너지의 활용 및 지속가능한 농업의 관점에서 고찰해보면, 에너지 이용 효율성 제고 및 환경 친화적 원예단지 조성이 중요한 부분이라는 것을 인지해야 할 것이다. 또한, 토양 검증 및 인증 항목은 중요도에 비해 만족도가 높아 과잉관리가 개선될 필요성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 원예전문생산단지 평가 지표에서 가점을 주는 평가항목들이기 때문에 이미 잘 관리가 되고 있는 것으로 설명할 수 있다. 정보교류 및 교육부문의 IPA분석결과 가장 집중적으로 관리되어야 할 요인으로 생산기술 교육이었으며, 원예전문단지 교육을 실시하기 위해서는 생산기술 교육을 타 교육(온실관리 및 유통관련 교육) 보다 집중적으로 실시해야할 부분으로 평가할 수 있다. 생산기술 정보, 온실시설 관리정보, 유통관련 정보는 중요도와 만족도가 모두 높아 지속적으로 잘 유지해야 할 필요가 있는 요인들이다. 다양한 정보에 대한 응답자들의 중요도와 만족도가 높기 때문에, 농가들의 적극적인 정보 교류를 활성화 시키는 방안을 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 예를 들면, 구성원들의 정보교류 어플리케이션, SNS 활동 혹은 홈페이지 활용, 공식적인 정기모임 및 정보교류 회의를 위한 협의체를 구성 등을 들 수 있겠다. 온실관리 교육, 유통관련 교육의 2개 요인에 대해서는 우선순위를 낮추어도 좋은 것으로 판단된다. 마지막으로 생산성 향상 및 시설원예의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 정부 주도의 시설원예단지 규모는 더욱 확대될 것이므로, 본 연구의 결과가 원예전문생산단지의 운영에 효율적으로 적용되기를 기대한다.

두 가지 고장형태를 고려한 생산 및 예방보전 정책 (A Production and Preventive Maintenance Policy with Two Types of Failures)

  • This paper studies an economic manufacturing quantity (EMQ) model with two types of failures and planned preventive maintenance of the production facility. One is a type I (major) failure which should be corrected by a failure maintenance and the other is a type H (minor) failure which can be minimally repaired without interrupting the production run. The objective is to determine the lot size and preventive replacement policy minimizing the long-run expected cost per unit time. We consider a control policy with a constant production lot size and preventive maintenance after completing n production runs. It is assumed that both preventive and failure maintenance times are random and the demand arriving during a stock-out period is lost. An expression for the expected cost per unit time is obtained in the general case. A special case is discussed and numerical results are provided.

  • Scheduling plays an important role in shop floor planning. A scheduling shows the planned time when processing of a specific job will start on each machine that the job requires. It also indicates when the job will be completed on every process. Thus, it is a timetable for both jobs and machines. There is only one server available and arriving work require services from this server. Job are processed by the machine one at a time. The most common objective is to sequence jobs on the severs so as to minimize the penalty for being late, commonly called tardiness penalty. Based on other objectives, many criteria may serve as s basis for developing job schedules. The process also comprises all strategic planning, capital investments, management decisions, and tasks necessary to create a new product. manufacturing processes must be created so that the product can be produced in the product facility. Purchasing new equipment and training workers may be required if new technology is to be used. Tools, fixtures, and the sequence of steps in the manufacturing processes must all be developed to allow rapid, high-quality, cost effective production. Also, it may be needed to be rearrange the production facility to adapt to the new manufacturing processes. Therefore, this study tries to proposed that Scheduling by customer needs group for minimizing the problem and reducing inventory, product development time, cycle time, and order lead time.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the success factor of Quality Management (QM) in the manufacturing conditions aspect of medium and small-sized sanitary enterprise. The requisite for manufacturing factors are classified into manufacturing human factors (the number of production employee, training and teaching, discuss on quality, manufacture expertness, etc.), manufacturing facility factors (coating, hardening, and molding equipment), manufacturing core component factors (temperature and viscosity, line, surface). And the indicator of quality outcomes are measured by reorder and recommendation to others.

  • Recently, a multi facility, multi product and multi period industrial problem has been widely investigated in Supply Chain Management (SCM). One of the key issues in the current SCM research area involved reducing both production and distribution costs. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum quantity of production and transportation with minimum cost in the supply chain network. We have presented a mathematical model that deals with real world factors and constructs. Considering the complexity of solving such model, we have applied the genetic algorithm approach for solving this model computational experiments using a commercial genetic algorithm based optimizer. The results show that the real size problems we encountered can be solved In reasonable time
