  • As the fashion industry increasingly fierce competition in the market we are elements of product quality can only be differentiated through a difficult period. Because academia and strengthen brand image and measures proposed business, a way to strengthen advertising and promotional marketing. However, this action reminds consumers that have a direct feel of the experience with the product is very easy to see, but counterproductive when advertising and contradictions. Korean fashion brand has sufficient capacity in this part of the judgment, because reason can not spread to the global luxury fashion brand. This study analyzed who help give identity to the domestic fashion luxury brand global strategy angry, it is part of the goal of the current development and product strategy features. Export capabilities, improve product identification components for their product development strategy has been carried out case studies and the recommendations based on this identity-based international luxury fashion brand analysis. The concept of product identification is not strong, the lack of previous studies of this study also adopted the international luxury fashion brand case studies, based on the country. The importance of product identification and product identification research methods derived from the characteristic side also granular component. Then there is the need to achieve national identity customized product development strategy for domestic enterprises to further expand the practice target. This will help enhance the competitiveness of the domestic apparel design.

  • In this paper we have tackled the outstanding inventory planning problems over new product launching period in a more holistic manner by addressing first the definition of efficient business rules to effectively control and reduce the inventory risks followed by the rigorous explanations on the implementation guide on suggested inventory planning rules. It is not unusual for many companies in the consumer electronics market to make a great effort to reduce the time to launch a new product because the ability to bring out higher performing products in such a short time period greatly increases the probability for them to remain competitive in the high tech market. Among so many newly developed products, those products with new features and technologies appeal to many potential customers while products which fail to win customers by design and prices rapidly disappear in the market. To adapt to this business environment, those companies have been trying to find the answer to minimize the inventory of old products so they can move to next generation products quickly with less obsolete material. In the experimental implementation of our rule-based inventory planning, Company 'S' reduced the inventory cost for the outgoing products as low as 49% of its peak level of its preceding product version in just 5 month after the adoption of rule-based inventory planning process and system. This paper concluded the subject with a suggestion that the best performance of rule-based inventory planning is guaranteed not from one-time campaign of process improvement along with system development but the decision maker's continuing support and attention even without seeing any upcoming business crisis.

  • This study proposes an entrepreneurship education process for fashion product start-ups through rewards-based crowdfunding. It examines issues such as: the general concept of crowdfunding and the pros and cons of rewards-based crowdfunding, the detailed curriculum plans in a chronological order for the regular class development, and the presentation of a visual plan to show the whole process. An entrepreneurship education process is developed in 13 steps: research on crowdfunding market, prototype plan, prototype production, story development, visual contents development, rewards development, project evaluation, public schedule & service setting, period setting & start funding, community management (Q&A), funding ends & deposit, complete manufacturing & start delivering, and the final information disclosure & open the next project plan. This research is intended to investigate rewards-based crowdfunding as a new paradigm of entrepreneurship and apply entrepreneurship education in fashion product development. However, it is limited to studying the Wadiz crowdfunding platform in Korea. Therefore, we propose a case study on various crowdfunding platforms in Korea, a case study on entrepreneurial curriculum application, and a follow-up study on the possibility of entry into an overseas crowdfunding platform.

  • The age of synthetic correspondence against "development period shortening, high quality" is about to come. While the product is becoming complexation gradually and also diversification, life cycle of product gets shorted. Under the infinity competition age, the certain answer of "the survival of the fittest" is that the enterprise itself must be able to shorten development and delivery term, reduce product development and life cycle cost, and satisfy customer in performance and value. From this point of view, concurrent engineering's theory, which develops the process of product in the manner of repetition, parallel, and synchronousness, is realized as a important strategy instrument in construction. This study investigates and analyzes several examples in order to apply concurrent engineering successfully, and presents the decision-making model through the simulation about the factor affecting in each process.

  • A deterministic multiproduct, facility-in series multiperiod production planning model is analyzed, where each period demand for the product of a facility appear in a fixed proportion of that for the product of the immediately following facility. The model considers concave production and inventory costs, which can depend upon the production in different facilities. No backlogging is allowed. It is shown that the model is represented via a single source network, which facilitates development of efficient dynamic programming algorithms for computing the optimal production schedule.

  • This research is a case study for the planning process and production process of design project done through industry-university collaboration research. Proposed for the design process and result for the development of the corporation's promotional fashion items. In addition, during the 3-month study period, went through the research process of a number of design, planning, meetings, discussions, and colorway, sample production and selection. The study was carried out using mainly necktie and scarf, the ones one can make use of the best among men's and women's fashion items as fashion items for promotion. The design work was done using Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5, Texpro 11 version programs. This study is a design development case study where design research experts and the persons in charge from the company took part in for the PR the company demands, and wish it to be used as a basis material for improving company image as a fashion product for the PR of a company.

  • Frefab Construction known for durable construction skill prompting high productivity in developed country is not yet settled in Korea. This situation of prefab construction results from lack of skill, specialists and quality control. In introducing skill, all equipments are thoughtlessly imported without inside eudeavor for development. Regardless of production of goods, basic study for production of goods, construction and structure is not abailable. The object of this study is curing method in the production process of PC concrete product. From change of curing temperature and curing period which would be factors of product quality in PC concrete production, and research of optimized steam curing condition from relations between curing condition and strength development, basic data of concrete steam curing method will be presented.

  • This paper introduces a new multi-product multi-period multi-objective aggregate production planning problem. The proposed problem is modeled using multi-objective mixed-integer mathematical programming. Three objective functions, including minimizing total cost, maximizing customer services level, and maximizing the quality of end-product, are considered, simultaneously. Several constraints such as quantity of production, available time, work force levels, inventory levels, backordering levels, machine capacity, warehouse space and available budget are also considered. Some parameters of the proposed model are assumed to be qualitative and modeled using fuzzy sets. Then, a fuzzy goal programming approach is proposed to solve the model. The proposed approach is applied on a real-world industrial case study of a color and resin production company called Teiph-Saipa. The approach is coded using LINGO software. The efficacy and applicability of the proposed approach are illustrated in the case study. The results of proposed approach are compared with those of the existing experimental methods used in the company. The relative dominance of the proposed approach is revealed in comparison with the experimental method. Finally, a data dictionary, including the way of gathering data for running the model, is proposed in order to facilitate the re-implementation of the model for future development and case studies.

  • This paper describes the development of a test-equipment for the pre-verification of navigation performance in cluster-based AUVs (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). In the development of an AUV, conducting hardware and software development sequentially is not efficient due to the limited research and development period. Therefore, in order to reduce the overall development time and achieve successful development results, it is essential to pre-validate the navigation system and navigation algorithms. Accordingly, this paper explains the test-equipment for pre-verification of navigation performance, and ultimately confirms the stability of the navigation system and the performance of the navigation algorithms through the analysis of five types of navigation sensor data stored during real-sea experiments. The results demonstrate that through the development and verification of the test-equipment, it is possible to shorten the overall development period and improvement of product quality in the process of developing multiple AUVs.
