Comparison of Performance between MLP and RNN Model to Predict Purchase Timing for Repurchase Product (반복 구매제품의 재구매시기 예측을 위한 다층퍼셉트론(MLP) 모형과 순환신경망(RNN) 모형의 성능비교)

  • Existing studies for recommender have focused on recommending an appropriate item based on the customer preference. However, it has not yet been studied actively to recommend purchase timing for the repurchase product despite of its importance. This study aims to propose MLP and RNN models based on the only simple purchase history data to predict the timing of customer repurchase and compare performances in the perspective of prediction accuracy and quality. As an experiment result, RNN model showed outstanding performance compared to MLP model. The proposed model can be used to develop CRM system which can offer SMS or app based promotion to the customer at the right time. This model also can be used to increase sales for repurchase product business by balancing the level of order as well as inducing repurchase of customer.

  • The purpose of the research is to discuss the product safety procedures for the food industry The producer and supplier of the products should satisfy the increasing consumer safety needs. To develop and produce safe products, the food industry must rigorously perform potential hazard findings and very thorough risk analysis to detect even the very minute potential danger. The ultimate product liability rests with the consumer safety and the manufacturer's capability which competes in the market places. This is especially important in the food industry. However, small to medium sized food producing companies are facing challenges in this area due to their overall capabilities. Therefore this research presents safety procedures which are relatively simple to implement.

  • Due to the various requests from consumers and rapidly changing market, the product design is continuously changing and the new products are manufactured in various forms. To satisfy this condition, companies must make the product design robust with better quality. However, considering many parameters and increasing the level of each parameter in product design can lead us to a difficult situation. In order to solve this problem, this paper attempts to develop an algorithm that takes into account more parameters and increased level of parameters using Genetic Algorithms. As a result of this study, we can use this algorithm for designing the parameters of new product since it can search the level of parameters in more detail and wider range.

  • The testing processes for VLSI finished devices are considerably complex because they require different types of ATE to be linked together. Due to the interaction effect between two or more linked ATEs, it is difficult to trace down the cause of the unexpected longer ATE setup time and random yields, which frequently occur in the VLSI circuit-testing laboratory. The goal of this paper is to develop and demonstrate the methodology designed to eliminate the possible interaction factors that might affect the random yields and/or unexpected longer setup time as well as increase the productivity. The statistical method such as design of experiment or multivariate analysis cannot be applied to the final testing floor here directly due to the environmental constraints. Expanded product data information (PDI) is constructed by combining product data information and ATE control information. An architecture utilizing expanded PDI is designed, which enables the engineer to conduct statistical approach investigation and reduce the setup time, as well as increase yield.

  • It is hot issue to get the competitiveness of product through reliability-growth as well as availability and safety in almost high-technology industry including military, chemistry, nuclear, telecommunication, transportation service and so on. In advanced countries, worldwide leading companies have tried to improve and develop high-reliability product as well as reliability management system(IEC60300). We investigate reliability certification systems for product and management system. Additionally, we study the feasibility on the adoption of dependability management system(IEC60300) by empirical survey on companies with product-reliability certification(R-mark) in Korea.

  • In this paper, we obtain some geometric inequalities for mixed volumes of a convex body and its polar dual. We also develop a lower bound of the product of quermassintegral of a convex body and its polar dual and give a lower bound for the product of the dual quermassintegral of any index of centrally symmetric convex body and that of its polar dual.

  • This paper introduces API(Application Programming Interface) development technology for improving design efficiency which is concerned with special product design environment and development lead time of company's own. Even though most companies commercial CAD/CAM/CAE procucts. For reducing procuct development cycles and improving design efficiency. We have to automatize design processes through the standadizarion and parameterization and develop the specialized utilities as a infrastructure. The proposed API development methodology provides improved automatic 2D,3D modeling procedures and useful user interfaces at a small fraction of the cost and design effort.

  • We develop a Fourier-Feynman theory for Fourier-type functionals ${\Delta}^kF$ and $\widehat{{\Delta}^kF}$ on Wiener space. We show that Fourier-Feynman transform and convolution of Fourier-type functionals exist. We also show that the Fourier-Feynman transform of the convolution product of Fourier-type functionals is a product of Fourier-Feynman transforms of each functionals.

Effects of Information Processing Types and Product Ownership on Usage Intention

  • Purpose - Current research aimed at exploring the effect differences between the two types of processing product information such as the imagining and the considering on psychological product ownership which could influence the intent to purchase or use the product, and focused on identifying the interaction effects of activated memory information type and advertising information type on each of the information processing types. Research design, data, and methodology - This study divided the information processing types into imagining and considering, and the consumer's memories were divided into autobiographical or episodic and semantic memory. The advertising information was approached in each of event information being together with the product and product feature information. At empirical study, 2(two types of memory activation: episodic and semantic memory activation) ∗ 2(two types of advertising information: event-focused and product feature-focused advertising information) between-subjects design was used to make four types of questionnaire according to the type of experimental groups. Through the survey platform, 'questionnaire stars' of 'WeChat' in China, 219 questionnaire data were collected for empirical study. The structural equation model in AMOS 26 and Anova were used to verify hypotheses. Results - First, the ownership affected the usage intent positively. Second, the imagining did not affect the psychological ownership but did directly affect the usage intention, and the considering affected the ownership positively. Third, the episodic memory activation positively influenced the imagining and negatively affected the considering, whereas the semantic memory activation positively influenced the considering and negatively affected the imagining. Fourth, event-advertising information increased the effects of the activated episodic memory on the imagining, and feature-advertising information increased the effects of the activated semantic memory on the considering. Conclusions - marketers should develop and advertise their product-related event message to trigger the imaging that directly increase the intent to purchase or use their product, when consumers are under the activation of their episodic memory. And marketers should advertise their product feature-related message to trigger the considering that could induce consumers' ownership for their product to increase the intent to purchase or use their product, when they are under the activation of their semantic memory.
