임베디드 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 제품계열 중심의 개발프로세스 모델 설계 (A Design of Development Process Model of Product Lines for Developing Embedded Software)

  • 최근 임베디드 소프트웨어가 다양한 분야에서의 개발이 두드러지면서 그 요구사항들도 다양해지고 있다. 그 중 이슈화되고 있는 것 중 하나가 하드웨어와의 종속성을 반영한 체계적인 개발방법을 제시하는 것이다. 기존의 개발방법들은 하드웨어와의 밀접한 관계, 여러 유사 도메인에 대한 고수준의 재사용성 요구 등 임베디드 소프트웨어가 갖고 있는 특성들을 효과적으로 반영하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제품계열적 접근방법을 통해 효율적인 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발방법을 제시하기 위한 개발프로세스 모델 설계방법을 제안한다. 개발프로세스 모델의 설계 중점은 먼저 효율적 요구사항 도출기법으로 디렉토리 방식의 도메인 스코핑 방식과 IDEF0 기반 비즈니스 모델을 제안한다. 다음으로 서비스 구조 기반의 컴포넌트 도출방식과 하드웨어 종속성을 고려한 아키텍처 설계 방식을 제안한다. 마지막으로 제안한 개발프로세스 설계모델이 어떻게 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발에 적용되는지를 보이기 위해 다중센서데이터 융합시스템에 적용한 결과를 설계과정마다 제시한다.

  • This study is for the development of Cover Glass Grinding Processing System. This system is developed for manufacturing a mass product system grinding cover glasses with highly precise mechanism, and we improved resulted quality. In the development process, we developed a complete process technology through mechanical design, image processing technology, spindle control, mark identification algorithm etc. With this cover glass grinding development, we could developed process technology, image processing technology, organization mechanisms and control algorithms.

  • Now days, the marketing environment is rapidly changed. Therefore, a lot of companies try to reduce production cost. Especially, Design is a important activities in new product development. While the concepts of design for manufacturable and concurrent engineering have made significant advances in integrating the design function with other areas in the firm. There are still major gaps in timely and accurate costing information available to designers. Inappropriate design could result in high redesign cost and delay in product relation. The generation of design and improvement is a time-consuming and mentally exhaustion process. It involves combining design features to generate as many potential design as possible. As not all features combinations are feasible, decision-makers have to narrow down the potential solutions and subsequently select appropriate design for further development. This new study is composed of 3 steps aiming at the Low Cost Design of the product. The three steps are consisted that setting up the target Cost, estimating the current functional cost, the design of a unit's reviewing according to the priority of the difference between the target cost and the functional cost.

공리적 설계를 이용한 모니터용 EPS 완충 포장 설계 시스템 개발 (Development of Design System for EPS Cushioning Package of Monitor Using Axiomatic Design)

  • The monitor product is packed by cushioning materials because the monitor can be broken during transportation. However, the addition of the cushioning material increased the volume of the product. Therefore, it is required that the usage of cushioning material be minimized. In practice, design engineers have followed the ad hoc design with experiences of predecessors. Automation of the design process is very important for the reduction of engineering cost, and can be achieved by an excellent design process and software development. According to Axiomatic design, a design flow is defined and a software system is developed for automated design. At first, a basic model is defined. A user can modify the model from menus and design is carried out according to the input from the user. Finite element models are automatically generated based on the design. A nonlinear finite element analysis program called LS/DYNA3D is linked for the impact analysis. The process of Design of Experiments using orthogonal array is installed to minimize the maximum acceleration in drop test. Therefore, a new design can be proposed by the system. The program is designed according to the Independence Axiom of Axiomatic design. FRs and DPs of the software system are defined and decomposed by zigzagging process. Independent modules can be generated by analysis of the full design matrix and each module is coded as class in Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Design results are discussed.

  • Since the traditional designing approach of forming processes is based on trial and error it consumes much time and needs cost to design successful processes. Today for higher marketability of products a manufacturing system is required that can reduce production time and enhance product properties greatly. In order to implement the system a computerized design-supporting tool is indispensable for the design and supply of optimized production process for high product quality in short time In this study a design supporting system is developed and implemented to ballstud die. Using the developed system the designer can rapidly produce layouts of dies for each process sequences with consistency.

체계적 문헌 고찰을 통한 패션 제품의 친환경 CMF 디자인 프로세스 분석 (A Systematic Review of Eco-CMF Design Processes for Fashion Products)

  • An eco-CMF design process is vital to the sustainable development of fashion products concerning both emotional and physical quality factors, thus extending the use phase of the product life cycle. Life cycle assessment (LCA) is widely used in other fields to evaluate environmental impact; However, the method is rarely adopted in fashion. While cooperating with design, technology, and the users, reflecting the CMF design process is an excellent approach to the sustainable development of fashion products. Moreover, it is likely to evoke favorable reactions in users toward products. Therefore, this study aimed to review the sustainable design strategies associated with CMF in the fashion industry. Using a systematic review, 135 papers that met the inclusion criteria were examined from peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1990 and 2022. They contained specific design processes or tools relevant to eco-CMF design. The search used the Web of Science database. After a rigorous search, the final six peer-reviewed journal articles were selected and underwent thorough content reviews. Then, the CMF design tools and frameworks for eco-design featured in the articles were carefully reviewed and analyzed. Finally, we proposed practical guidelines for the sustainable development of eco-CMF design in the fashion industry. The study outcomes revealed the need for concrete eco-CMF design processes, particularly for fashion products. Furthermore, more active research involving eco-CMF design processes for the sustainable environmental impact of fashion products is required.

  • 최근 인간 중심의 디자인이 패러다임을 형성하면서 인터페이스 디자인에서도 사용자 이해를 위한 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 그래픽 인터페이스 디자인을 위한 체계적인 프로세스에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자 중심의 인터페이스 디자인을 위하여 디자인 프로세스상에서 프로토타입을 활용하는 방법에 대해 연구가 이루어 졌다. 연구는 세 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 먼저 문헌 연구를 통해 프로토타입의 정의, 종류, 활용의 의의, 활용 기법에 관한 다각적인 자료를 정리 소개하였다. 그리고 두 번째로는, 이러한 이론적 배경지식이 프로토타입을 활용한 인터페이스 제품 개발의 프로세스의 모델에서 종합된다. 즉, 인터페이스 디자인에서의 프로토 타입은 아이디어 스케치부터 실제품 수준의 것까지 다양한 종류가 있으며, 디자인 프로세스의 각 단계에서 목적에 따라 그에 맞는 수준의 프로토타입이 개발되면 그에 맞는 방법으로 평가가 이루어지는 틀을 제시한다. 그리고 마지막으로는, 다중 참여 교육용 멀티미디어 제품 개발의 사례를 통해 앞에서 제시한 프로세스 모델의 구체적인 예를 보이고 검증한다.

개념 설계 평가를 위한 제품 품질지수 (Product Quality Index for Concept Design Evaluation)

  • A product system will be improved continually until requirements are satisfied. It is true that considering alternative designs to improve product system is hard work; it is also true that selecting an adequate design idea that represents the needs of stakeholders concerned and meets effectiveness factors properly is not an easy work, either. In the process of driv-ing an idea and designing, which is called Design Phase, there are lots of existing tools for testing the driven idea in DFSS. But, those kinds of tools do not offer the function that helps to select the technically better design idea among alternative design ideas that have the same evaluation level. Moreover it is inappropriate to select adequate alternative design ideas by just verifying only the evaluation table in pugh matrix, since satisfied deviation val-ues are low when there is a too competitive mass product system in a market. Also, for the IT product with short life cycle, faster and more effective testing tool is needed. Therefore, the 'roduct quality index' is suggested in order to select an appropriate candidate design concept for system development that meets requirements by using 'deality concept' pro-vided by TRIZ. According to the result of this research, it is possible to select technically better idea fast and effectively; it is confirmed by applying the approach to the case of LCD BLU (Back Light Unit).

  • Die Casting is one of the forming methods to manufacture large number of products with short period time and clean surface by high forming pressure and temperature of cast alloy. Die design is composed of selection of cast alloy, design of die casting product, runner and gate design etc. In reality, however, die design of die casting has been performed by trial and error method, which cause economic and time loss. This paper describes a research work of developing computer-aided design of die casting product and die design. Approach to the CAD system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with personal computer. In this study, die design system for gate of die casting process has been developed to present algorithm for automation of die design, especially runner-gate system. As forming process and die design system using 3-D geometry handling are integrated with technology of process planning, die design is possible to set. In addition, specific rules and equations for the runner-gate system have been presented to avoid too many trails and errors with expensive equipment. It is possible for engineers to make automatic and efficient die design of die casting and it will result in reduction of expense and time to be required. An example is applied to cap-shaped casting using proposed algorithm.

  • Most commercial PDM (product data management) systems, which have been released recently by overseas famous software vendors, are still expensive and heavy to apply to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Proposed in this paper are an architecture and functions of collaborative BOM (bill-of-material) management system (cBOM-MS) which supports the internal BOM management by BOM Navigator, provides SMEs with constructing the collaborative BOM via Collaborative BOM Portal, and proposes an interface to extract BOM automatically from commercial CAD systems. In the design of cBOM-MS, BOM Navigator and cBOM Portal are positioned separately to reinforce the information security about product data during product development process.
