청소년의 환경친화적 소비의식과 소비행동에 영향을 미치는 변수에 관한 연구 -어머니의 환경친화적 소비행동과 관련하여- (A Study on the Variables Influencing on Adolescents Consciousness and Behavior in Pro-environmental Consumption - In Relation with Their Mothers' Pro-environmental Consuming Behavior -)

  • This study was designed to verify the influence of mothers on their young adults in pro-environmental consuming consciousness and behavior. The compiled data are based on the responses of questionnaires from 278 young adults who reside in Seoul, Korea. The data were analyzed by frequency, standard deviation, mean, unitary dispersion, rank revolution analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis by SPSS 14.0K for Windows. This study has discovered the following: First. A mother's pro-environmental consuming behavior is one of the most important factors significantly influencing a young adult's consciousness and behavior. Second. A friendly and positive consciousness about the environment enhances pro-environmental consuming behavior. A close inter-relationship exists between consciousness and behavior. However, some significant discrepancy was found between pro-environmental consuming consciousness and pro-environmental consuming behavior; that is, the level of pro-environmental consciousness was higher than the level of pro-environmental behavior. Third. Sensitivity to environmental information influenced pro-environmental consumption consciousness and behavior. Female students are more concerned about and sensitive to environmental matters than are male students. Fourth. Among the subordinate dependent variables, recycling behavior is most influenced by independent variables. Among the pro-environmental consuming behavior sector, a mother's disposal behavior exerts the most influence on the young adult's behavior. In the results of this study, it is pointed out that it is absolutely necessary fur young adults to bring up their practice level of pro-environmental purchase and consuming behaviors, and it is advised that appropriate and relevant education programs should be developed.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the level and major influencing factors of pro-environmental consumer consciousness and resource-saving behavior of adolescents. The research was conducted in 2007 using a written questionnaire completed by 545 male and female high-school students who reside in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. The data was analyzed using statistical methods such as frequencies, percent, means, standard deviations, Crobach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS statistics program. Major findings were as follows. The higher level background parameters for pro-environmental consumption consciousness were students who were: male in higher grades; given a higher allowance of pocket money. Likewise, a higher degree of mutual communication within their family, mass communications' contact and environmental information also showed a higher level of pro-environmental consumer consciousness.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between pro-environmental consumption consciousness and resource saving behavior of university students. This research has been conducted in 2005 through a written questionnaire with the students of a university in Seoul. After a preliminary research, the main research bas been executed in number of 616 copies. The date were analyzed by statistical methods such as frequencies, precentiles, means, the standard deviations, Crobach's a coefficient, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS statistics program. The major findings of this study were as follows. The pro-environmental consumption consciousness of the university students is the most important factor of doing resource saving behavior. The university students are the group that is going to take responsibility for a national economy and future society. Therefore, it is very important to educate them for establishing the rational consciousness of consumption in order to improve their consumption behavior and skills, because the consciousness formed in this period leads to the propensity to consume when they become adults.

제주도민과 제주방문 도보여행객의 제주올레에 대한 만족도와 친환경 행동 비교 (A Comparative Study of Satisfaction and Pro-environmental Behavior on the Jeju Olle among Jeju Residents and Visitors)

  • 제주올레는 2007년 제1코스 개장을 시작으로 2017년 2월 현재 총26개 코스가 제주전역에 퍼져있으며 매년 1백 만 명 이상의 관광객이 제주 올레를 걷기 위해 제주를 방문하고 있다. 제주올레는 환경문제가 큰 사회적 문제로 대두되는 현 시점에서 도보 여행으로서 제주의 자연과 생태계를 지킬 수 있는 대표적인 친환경 여행 형태라는 점에서 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 지금까지 제주올레에 대한 연구는 제주방문 관광객 위주로 진행되어 제주올레의 또 하나의 주인이라고 할 수 있는 제주도민의 제주 올레 여행에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제주 방문 올레 도보여행자들과 제주도민을 함께 연구 대상으로 선정하여 제주올레에 대한 여행 행태와 여행 만족도, 친환경 행동에 차이가 있는지 비교하는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 2016년 12월부터 2017년 2월까지 수집한 총 290부의 설문지를 분석한 결과, 제주도민은 제주방문 올레 도보 여행자에 비해 평균 동반 인원수가 더 많은 반면 제주올레 여행 만족도와 친환경 행동 점수는 제주방문 올레 도보 여행자에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 제주도민이 제주방문 올레도보 여행자보다 상대적으로 낮은 친환경 행동을 보인 본 연구 결과는 제주전체의 환경문제와 연관되는 것으로 친환경 행동을 향상시키기 위한 제주도민 대상의 지속적인 환경 교육 프로그램과 홍보가 필요한 때이다.

소비자구매행동유형에 따른 의류제품의 환경친화적 소비행동 분석 (Consumer's Pro-environmental Behavior Relating to Clothing by the Style of Purchase Behavior)

  • Or this research, it was investigated the differences in the pro-environmental behaviors in purchase, use and management, and disposal of clothing by socio-demographic characteristics and other variables. In addition, it was classified Korean consumers into several comsumer groups based on the different purchase behavior style, and then investigated the difference among these consumer groups in purchase, use and management, and disposal of clothing in light of the pro-environmental behavior. The following is the summary of the main results. First, consumers with high income and ha41g a lot of clothing were less likely to purchase used-clothing while consumers who were non-married and in low-income status were more likely to rent clothing. In additions, female, married consumers, and consumers with less-educated were more likely to manage their clothing frequently. Second, it was classified consumers into several groups based on the different purchase behavior style, these were "rational purchasing", "saving-money purchasing", "regretting for their purchasing", and "over-purchasing". Third, "saving-money purchasing" group showed a high expenditure rate in the purchase of used-clothing but a low rate in "over-purchasing" group. The frequency of management of clothing was the highest in the group of "over-purchasing" and the next in the group of "saving-money purchasing". The group of "over-purchasing" were more likely to show irrational decision-making style, manage and disposal their clothing frequently, "saving-money purchasing" purchased used-clothing frequently, and the level of management of clothing were less in the group of "regretting for their purchasing".

산림생태계서비스 인식이 친환경행동에 미치는 영향: 구조방정식 분석을 활용하여 (The Effect of the Recognition of Forest Ecosystem Services on Pro-Environmental Behavior Using Structural Equation Model)

  • 본 연구는 산림생태계서비스 인식이 개인의 환경몰입과 환경문제의식을 매개하여 친환경행동에 미치는 영향관계에 대해 구조방정식모델을 적용하여 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 자료는 일반인 대상의 온라인 설문조사로 2019년 4월 11일~21일까지 진행되었으며, 총 465부 중 불성실한 응답을 제외하고 425부(91.4%)를 최종 분석 자료로 이용하였다. 구조방정식 분석을 통한 주요 결과를 살펴보면, 응답자의 대부분이 산림생태계서비스를 긍정적으로 인식하였으며, 산림생태계서비스 인식이 환경몰입, 환경문제의식 두 변수에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 그 크기는 공급·조절서비스보다 문화서비스의 영향이 더 컸다. 총효과의 크기는 '문화서비스-환경몰입-친환경행동'의 경로가 가장 크게 나타났다. 산림생태계서비스를 중요하게 인식하는 사람에게 친환경행동을 하도록 유도하기 위해서는 문제의식보다 몰입이 효과적으로 매개하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 산림생태계서비스를 중요하게 인식하면서 자연환경과의 몰입 경험이 있을 때 친환경행동의도가 더 높으며 행동으로 유도할 수 있다. 본 연구는 산림생태계서비스 인식과 친환경행동의 관계를 파악하고 선행요인을 분석하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

  • This study aims to propose an assessment model on environmental economics which will provide useful information in making a decision for the implementation of pro-environmental and economical construction projects. To meet the objective, this study suggests a procedure to estimate environmental cost of construction projects. The model combines environmental load assessment and environmental value assessment. The environmental cost of pollutant generated from the construction project was estimated utilizing the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) which is a value assessment method borrowed from economic science. The devised model is expected to provide a useful methodology that will scientifically support the planning and management of sustainable construction not only in the environmental aspect but also in the economical aspect.

친환경 호텔의 자연기반해법과 고객의 친환경 행동의도와의 관계에 대한 연구 (Study of the Effect of Nature Based Solutions of Green Hotel on Customers' Pro-environment Behavioral Intentions)

  • Purpose: NBS (Natural-based Solutions) characteristics as eco-friendly hotels were divided into eco-friendly indoor and outdoor to structurally verify the relationship between customers' perceived eco-friendly value, psychological well-being, customer satisfaction, and pro-environmental behavioral intention. Research design, data and methodology: This survey conducted responses to customers who had experience using eco-friendly hotels for the past two years. SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical programs were used for the collected questionnaire data. First, frequency analysis and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were verified, and structural correlation between variables was verified by covariance matrix structural equation (CB-SEM). Result: First, NBS was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on perceived eco-friendly value and psychological well-being. Second, psychological well-being was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction and eco-friendly behavioral intention. Finally, Hypothesis 3 was accepted as perceived eco-value showed a significant positive (+) effect on eco-friendly behavioral intention, but Hypothesis 2 was rejected because it did not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Conclusions: theoretical and practical implications for the impact of NBS as an eco-friendly hotel on customers' eco-friendly behavior can be provided, as well as basic evidence for establishing efficient management strategies for hotel companies.
