The purpose of this study is to observe the influence mother's pro-environmental consumption behavior have on the adolescents' environment-friendly attitudes and adolescents' pro-environmental consumption behavior. Also by examining the variable relation, the study scopes out the effectiveness of environmental experience. For the analysis, high school students in Korea were gathered from online and multiple regression analysis, and Baron and Kenny mediation analysis were conducted among a total of 521 surveys. The main findings are as follows: First, mother's pro-environmental consumption behavior were proven to be essential factors that have influence on the adolescents' environment-friendly attitudes. Second, mother's pro-environmental consumption behavior were proven to be essential factors that have influence on the adolescents' pro-environmental consumption behavior. Third, mediating effect of adolescents' environment-friendly attitudes was verified in the relationship between mother's and adolescent's pro-environmental consumption behavior. The findings suggest the importance of adolescents' environment-friendly attitudes and improve adolescent's pro-environmental consumption behavior by having practice mother's pro-environmental consumption behavior.

The findings suggest the importance of adolescents' environmental consciousness and improvement of pro-environmental consumption behavior by having students gain environmental experience.
More consumers are choosing pro-consumption for social change, but scholars know little about why and how consumers engage in pro-consumption behaviors. A newly emerged pro-consumption behavior called "Don-jjul," which appeared during the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea, refers to compensating businesses that have engaged in altruistic actions by boosting their sales. This study used Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) of topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and in-depth interviews to investigate the perceptions, motivations, and emotions regarding Don-jjul. As a result, the study revealed pro-consumers' perceptions of Don-jjul as "collective pro-consumption for contributing to social well-being." Don-jjul has two main motives: "supporting underdogs with difficulties" and "compensating good businesses economically." We also found two ambivalent emotions evoked by Don-jjul: "respect for good business owners" and "concerns regarding the misuse of Don-jjul." The results contribute to pro-consumption research for social well-being, providing business opportunities for retailers and CSR managers with a deep understanding of pro-consumers.
This research is a construct to understand CSR and pro-social consumption behavior of fashion consumers which classifies CSR efforts of fashion company and conducts positive analysis of the relationship between such characteristics and social relationship behaviors(sharing of values, consciousness of kind, consciousness of future expectation) and pro-social consumption behavior. For this path analysis was conducted utilizing a sample of 430 consumers who have experience of CSR efforts of fashion brands. The result is as follows. First, as a result of the path relationship among CSR efforts & sharing of values of fashion brands, consciousness of kind and consciousness of future expectation, economic efforts, relational efforts and cyclical efforts meaningfully affected sharing of values, whereas creative efforts did not. Also, relational and creative efforts meaningfully affected consciousness of kind, whereas economic and cyclical efforts did not. Furthermore, economic, relational and cyclical efforts meaningfully affected consciousness of future expectation, when creative efforts failed. Second, as a result of the analysis of path relationship among sharing of values, consciousness of kind, consciousness of future expectation and pro-social consumption behavior of social relationships, sharing of values had a meaningful impact on consciousness of kind, consciousness of future expectation and pro-social consumption behavior. And finally consciousness of kind and future expectation showed meaningful influence on pro-social consumption behavior.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of adolescent's environmental education experience and peer group on pro-environmental consumption behavior The survey study administered 610 questionnaires to general high school students in Daegu. The main findings of this study were as follows. First, adolescent's pro-environmental purchase behavior was positively correlated to the degree of participation in environment-related events in school, the mother's pro-environmental purchase, use and disposal behavior and environment education experience in society, while the peer group's pro-environmental purchase was positively correlated to use and disposal behavior Also adolescent's pro-environmental use behavior was positively correlated to the mother's pro-environmental purchase, use and disposal behavior, the peer group's pro-environmental purchase, and use and disposal behavior. Adolescent's pro-environmental disposal behavior was positively correlated to the degree of participation in environment-related events in school, the mother's pro-environmental purchase, use and disposal behavior, environment education experience in society, the peer group's pro-environmental purchase, and use and disposal behavior. Second, adolescent's pro-environmental purchase behavior was influenced to the greatest extent by the peer group's pro-environmental purchase behavior, followed by the mother's pro-environmental purchase behavior and use behavior, and to a lesser extent, tv environment education experience in society. This study aimed to examine the water consumption of urban households according to pro-environmental attitude for environmental protection. In contrast to preview studies, this study purposed to include various related independent variables, motive to environmental behavior, in special, in the model, and suggest informative data for research, education and strategies related to environmental protection. The data were from 665 housewives living in five urban areas. For the analysis of data, frequencies, means, percentages, GLM analysis, DMR test and Chi-square test were used. The main results of this study were as follows; 1. The respondents held high pro-environmental attitude that pro-environmental behaviors are important to protect environment. The pro-environmental attitude among the respondents were statistically different from the independent variables : spouse's occupation, living area, help of housekeeper, knowledge about environmental protection, convenience to check water consumption, and perception of voluntary conservative behavior among neighborhood 2. There were great difference on water consumption among respondents. The significant independent variables to have effects on water consumption were different between water consumption per person and higher/lower average water consumption. The relationships of pro-environmental attitude and motive to pro-environmental behavior with two water consumption as dependent variables were unique. Also, living areas and knowledge about environment protection were consistently important to explain the difference of water consumption.
This research aims to examine the pro-environmental food consumption behavior of two groups; the housekeepers and the restaurant cooks. The rationale for choosing these groups as target of research lies in the fact that they are expected to be the most active subject for enhancing the desirable culture of food consumption, through their close involvement in the whole process of food consumption in society. This study assumes the four areas of activity to be the meaningful categories in the investigation of the pro-environmental food consumption behaviour; planning of menu and purchasing the food materials, cooking, eating, and disposal of the leftover. By using these four categories, we attempt to provide with the empirical typology of pro-environmental food consumption behaviour and the analysis of the relations of it with socio-demographical variables. Their pro-environmental behaviors are divided into four types: $\circled1$ The positive awareness of pro-environmental cooking and eating, $\circled2$ The positive awareness of pro-environmental food consumption behavior, $\circled3$ The passive awareness of pro-environmental cooking and eating, $\circled4$ The passive awareness of pro-environmental food consumption behavior. There is no significant difference among the numbers of the cases that belong to each behavioral type. Seen in overall, however, we can say that the larger number of the cases belong to the passive type of behavior. Two socio-demographical variables of tole housekeepers and the restaurant cooks show significant corelations with the behavioral types of pro-environmental food consumption with the confidence level P<0.05, but there is no significant co-relations in other variables like gender, marital status, age, income, Engel coefficient, education. We also found that there is no great gap between the housekeepers and the restaurant cooks in their positive awareness of pro-environmental food consumption, the percentage of each group belonging to the type being 51.9% and 48.1%, respectively, but that the former shows much greater number than the latter in belonging to the passive awareness type of the pro-environmental food consumption, 75.3% and 24.7%, respectively. Although the restaurant cooks can be said to be more ego-friendly than the housekeepers, if we consider the rapidly growing trend of outgoing-diner, more efforts should be exerted to develop the education and advertisement program for enhancing the restaurant cook's pro-environmental awareness and propagating the desirable food consumption cloture.
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between pro-environmental consumption consciousness and resource saving behavior of university students. This research has been conducted in 2005 through a written questionnaire with the students of a university in Seoul. After a preliminary research, the main research bas been executed in number of 616 copies. The date were analyzed by statistical methods such as frequencies, precentiles, means, the standard deviations, Crobach's a coefficient, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS statistics program. The major findings of this study were as follows. The pro-environmental consumption consciousness of the university students is the most important factor of doing resource saving behavior. The university students are the group that is going to take responsibility for a national economy and future society. Therefore, it is very important to educate them for establishing the rational consciousness of consumption in order to improve their consumption behavior and skills, because the consciousness formed in this period leads to the propensity to consume when they become adults.
This study was designed to verify the influence of mothers on their young adults in pro-environmental consuming consciousness and behavior. The compiled data are based on the responses of questionnaires from 278 young adults who reside in Seoul, Korea. The data were analyzed by frequency, standard deviation, mean, unitary dispersion, rank revolution analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis by SPSS 14.0K for Windows. This study has discovered the following: First. A mother's pro-environmental consuming behavior is one of the most important factors significantly influencing a young adult's consciousness and behavior. Second. A friendly and positive consciousness about the environment enhances pro-environmental consuming behavior. A close inter-relationship exists between consciousness and behavior. However, some significant discrepancy was found between pro-environmental consuming consciousness and pro-environmental consuming behavior; that is, the level of pro-environmental consciousness was higher than the level of pro-environmental behavior. Third. Sensitivity to environmental information influenced pro-environmental consumption consciousness and behavior. Female students are more concerned about and sensitive to environmental matters than are male students. Fourth. Among the subordinate dependent variables, recycling behavior is most influenced by independent variables. Among the pro-environmental consuming behavior sector, a mother's disposal behavior exerts the most influence on the young adult's behavior. In the results of this study, it is pointed out that it is absolutely necessary fur young adults to bring up their practice level of pro-environmental purchase and consuming behaviors, and it is advised that appropriate and relevant education programs should be developed.
The purpose of this study is to examine the level and major influencing factors of pro-environmental consumer consciousness and resource-saving behavior of adolescents. The research was conducted in 2007 using a written questionnaire completed by 545 male and female high-school students who reside in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. The data was analyzed using statistical methods such as frequencies, percent, means, standard deviations, Crobach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS statistics program. Major findings were as follows. The higher level background parameters for pro-environmental consumption consciousness were students who were: male in higher grades; given a higher allowance of pocket money. Likewise, a higher degree of mutual communication within their family, mass communications' contact and environmental information also showed a higher level of pro-environmental consumer consciousness.
