A North Pacific Ocean Model has been developed with the Global Ocean Model of the Meteorological Research Institute of Japan which solves the primitive equations with Boussinesq, rigid-lid, and hydrostatic assumptions. The objective of the study is to improve the description of the variability on the East Sea and northwestern Pacific Ocean. (omitted)

K-means clustering has been widely used in many applications, such that pattern analysis, data analysis, market research and so on. It can identify dense and sparse regions among data attributes or object attributes. But k-means algorithm requires many hours to get k clusters, because it is more primitive and explorative. In this paper we propose a new method of k-means clustering using the grid-based representative value(arithmetic and trimmed mean) for sample. It is more fast than any traditional clustering method and maintains its accuracy.

In this paper, the primitive and double combined motion classification of the arm is discussed using pattern recognition of EM signal. The EM signals are detected from Ag-Ag/Cl surface electrodes, and IBM PC, calculated the Likelyhood probability and the decision function on the feature space of integral absolute value. Multiclass decision rule is introduced for higher decision rate. On our experimental results from expert simulator, the decision rate of more than 78% can be obtained.

We compare an integral sliding mode control with a typical sliding mode control for robot manipulators through two primitive tasks: set-point regulation and trajectory tracking control. To prove the asymptotic stability of two methods for robot manipulators, we introduce three important properties in the robot dynamics: skew-symmetry, positive-definiteness, and boundedness of robot parameter matrices and we present one unified control structure using a parametric velocity vector. From illustrative examples, we show that two methods effectively control for robot manipulators.

The main purpose of this paper is using the properties of Gauss sums, primitive characters and the mean value theorems of Dirichlet L-functions to study the hybrid mean value of the T-th hyper-Kloosterman sums Kl(h, k+1, r;q) and the hyper Cochrane sums C(h, q; m, k), and give an interesting mean value formula.

웹 브라우징은 상호작용으로 이루어진다. 계면의 구조나 상호작용은 잘 구조화 되어야 브라우징하기에 유리하고, 한편으로는 계면을 합성하기에 유리하다. 본 논문에서는 브라우징에 있어서 상호작용을 4가지 원시구조인 순차구조, 분기구조, 복귀구조, 반복구조 등으로 분류하였고, 이러한 4가지 구조를 지원하는 다양한 2차원 계면을 5가지 유형으로 분류하여 정의하였다. 순차형, 분기형, 복귀형, 반복형, 진화형이 5가지 계면 유형으로 19가지 계면구조를 정의하였다. 사용자의 인식흐름은 하나로 가정하였다.

Bronchogenic cysts are congenital and uncommon lesions which are derived from primitive forgut and usually found within the lung or mediastinum. The increased use of roentgenograms of the thorax and the widening scope of thoracic surgery, many more cases of bronchogenic cysts are being observed. Three cases of bronchogenic cysts operated in the department of thoracic surgery, C.A.F.G.H., are reported and the related literatures are reviewed.

An analysis of handling performance including the compliance effects is performed. Using the primitive design data of suspension systems, a kinematic model and the three kinds of compliance models are developed. The wheel alignments curves are obtained with the multibody dynamic analysis program ADAMS. The compliance effects of each model are discussed. Since the proposed analysis only requires the raw design data, the better prediction of wheel behaviors is possible in suspension design stage.
