The purpose of this paper is to construct a cooperation network for multicultural information services. It is suggested that a network for multicultural information helps those who limited information resources. Following investigation of the related information resources-422 online sites in 395 groups-it was found that the activity of non-public groups is higher than that of public groups and that all related groups offer various information services to multicultural people: education (24.5%), culture (18.4%), human rights (12.7%), general life (8.9%), and etc. The paper suggests the sharing of the information of internal related groups and collaboration with th embassies and cultural centers of East Asian country in order to construct a multicultural information service.

According to increasing activities in the cyberspace, various on-line services through the Internet have been offered, and many recent studies on the Internet services such as instant messenger, game, and portal site have been performed to evaluate quality of these services. However researches on weblog(blog), a personal online journal for general public consumption, have not been performed much yet. Therefore, we have conducted an empirical study on investigating the structural relationships among weblog service quality, satisfaction and loyalty in this study. After reviewing the related literatures, we have suggested a model for evaluating the service quality of weblog, wb-SERVQUAL(weblog-SERVQUAL), by modifying the conventional SERVQUAL model based on characteristics of weblog. Structural Equation Model(SEM) has been used to analyze the structural relationships among service quality of weblog, user satisfaction and customer loyalty. Managerial implications are also suggested for managing the weblog sites in conclusion.

A user with a specific information need will often need to query several search engines before finding relevant documents. To address the problem of navigating the search engines, agents are used. In general, an agent is a program that can perform a particular task automatically, when appropriate or upon request by another program. In this paper, we design and implement the education information search system for children: using Information gathering agent that is called Edulnfo4k. The information gathering agent periodically visits several portal web sites for children: Ggureogi of Yahoo Korea, Junior of Naver and Gaegujaengi of Hanmir, collects the education or learning information for children, stores the collected information into database. Then, causal users can search the education information for children from database through a uniform user interface, conveniently. As the result, we know that Edulnfo4k provides integrated search without query in several search engines.

The failure of distinguishing homographs in describing relations of individual authors and relations of authorship(i.e. distinction of persons with the same name or persons of the same literary author's name) will cause difficulties of retrieving exact information. It is because relations of automorphism cannot be formed between the two sets mentioned above. Therefore, it is ultimately necessary to set up the criteria or tools to distinguish homographs in order to retrieve more exact information. In the past, some efforts were made to develop authority data in order to solve the homograph problems by individual libraries, documents and portal sites in Korea. It is well understood that developing authority data by an individual institution was very difficult with no criteria or no rules to clarify the homograph problems at the national level. This study is to develop ways of recognizing individual names including subject words and proper nouns. The results of the study will present methods of distinguishing and describing homographs between individual author sets, and authorship sets particularly focused on the areas of arts and popular culture.

This paper examined how the millennial generation consumes mobile news through social networking sites with regards to user patterns, preference topics and news values, and whether news topics and news values may influence their overall mobile SNS news consumption and interactivity. The findings show that more than 2/3 of respondents consumed mobile SNS news at least once everyday for 30minutes to one-hour. Male millennials tended to use Facebook and Kakao-talk more than female. While the portal site was the most accessed channel for consuming mobile news, SNS was the second, more than the combined use of national daily papers, TV, and internet newspapers. The respondents' demographic characteristics and news topics also affect the form and degree of news interactivity. With regards to their preferences and prioritization of news values, millennials tend to perceive 'impact' and 'usefulness' as being most important, despite the differences of their demographic characteristics. They also preferred those news values most. There were significant differences in terms of preferred news topics according to the demographics' characteristics.

The purpose of this paper was to analyze a social discourse on the enactment of School Sport Promotion Law produced in the media. For this purpose, 73 articles related to the law collected from portal sites such as 'Daum', 'Naver' and 'Yahoo' as well as 'KINDS' were utilized for data analysis. Therefore, it was concluded that a social discourse's feature related to the enactment of the law is a social 'support' discourse calling for the enactment of the law, a 'denunciation' discourse after the rejection at the regular session of the National Assembly, a 'opposition' discourse concerned about the regression of elite sport and a 'wish' discourse expecting the leap and vitalization of school sport. From the holistic point of view, a dominant discourse is the appropriateness and necessity of the enactment of the law. However, smaller but stronger voices of dissent concerning about the decline in the development of elite sport (especially elite sporting success) were raised.

For an evaluation of the software product, the national/international organizations and labs have been studying various methodologies for the quality on the basis of ISO/IEC Quality Assurance System, but they still have many issues in evaluation of the anti-virus software that has special characteristics of complexity. In this paper, to establish a methodology of the quality evaluation for the anti-virus software, fulfilling the requirements more than reasonable level, a process to draw the evaluation items and quantification was established. And the information of weight was objectified by analyzing the relative magnitude between each factors. Based on the defined information (evaluation item, weight), conducting the quality evaluations for 70 kinds of open anti-virus software collected from the portal sites in the real test environment, and as a result of the positive analysis with user's long-term experience, this paper justifies the evaluation item and the weight.

This paper proposes various policies for maximizing the performances of Government loan. In order to do so, this paper offers new 10 policies with results from analyzing a survey for the requirements of SMEs that were supported with Government loan program. Also this paper drives methods for finding new value indices and reforming formulas for quantifying some indices. On the other hand, this paper introduces financing methods using K-OTC and KONEX markets and presents three portal sites to provide information about Government sponsored loan matched to needs of an individual company. Also this paper improves the supplement points resulted from operating Government loan. In conclusion, these new policies will raise effectiveness and efficiency of Government loan programs and will contribute to achieving the goals which are establishing the foundation for growth in IT industry as well as IT SMEs, improving the quality of the national livelihood and promoting the growth of national economy.

Internet portal is an entryway, the first page encountered before the user entered target sites. Despite tremendous interest in the proliferation of internet portals, there is little, if any, research that demonstrates developmental process of internet portals. This developmental process is important to the generation of critical mass for e-business. The objective of this research is to discuss the process and evolution of internet portals via qualitative research. In doing so, we present $2{\times}2$ matrix as determinant with analyzing how it impacts developmental process of internet portals and perform case study to demonstrate them. The result shows that First, all internet portals are have tried to link 4C and commercialization through developmental process. Second, community service is one of the most important ways to realize commercialization in electronic market.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to understand the characteristics of herbal-drug-associated adverse events (AEs) reported in the internet newspaper articles and to take a countermeasure against the safety issue of herbal drugs. Methods: We searched the internet newspaper articles published from 2010 to 2014 in the 3 major portal sites in Korea, NAVER, DAUM, and GOOGLE. Search terms were the Korean words equivalent of 'herbal drug' and 'side effects'. Informations on the type and characteristics of suspected herbal drugs, AEs, and the patient records were extracted from the articles reporting the herbal-drug-associated AE occurred in Korea. Results: From 8,806 articles, a total of 36 AEs were found. The most frequently reported age group was 20s, and women outnumbered men. Obesity was the most common cause of administration. Doctors of Korean medicine clinic were the most commonly referred prescribers and purchasing route (11 cases). The most frequently mentioned medicinal herb was Ephedra sinica (7 cases) and the most commonly reported AEs were abdominal pain (8 cases), dizziness (6 cases), diarrhea (5 cases), and vomiting (5 cases) were followed in order. Ten cases were judged as serious AEs, and the others were not. Conclusions: Current customers demand health care providers to offer them sufficient information on the safety of herbal drugs. To satisfy their requirements, physicians of Korean medicine should be able to explain, predict, prepare, recognize, and deal with the herbal-drug-associated AEs. We propose an establishment of pharmacovigilance system for herbal medicine, in which doctors of Korean medicine are participated as important personnel, to collect and analyze the related AEs and offer credible information on the safety of herbal drug.
