The main intent of this paper is to prove an existence and uniqueness fixed point result under Geraghty contractions in b-metric-like spaces, which remains an extended version of corresponding results in b-metric spaces and metriclike spaces. Using two types of Geraghty contractions, an approach is adopted to verify some fixed point results in b-metric-like spaces. Our main result is an extension of an earlier result given by Geraghty in b-metric-like-space. An example is also provided to demonstrate the validity of our main result. Moreover, as an application of our main result, the existence of solution of a Fredholm integral equation is established which may further be utilized to study the seismic response of dams during earthquakes.

The purpose of this study is to aim at presenting efficient technique of 3-D Terrain Modelling through multilateral approach methods and to compare with raw data, using low-densed randomly located point data. The subject religion of this study are selected two sites and take into consideration for degree of freedom about low-densed randomly located point data. The result of this study by precision analysis of digital cartographic map-ping using low-densed randomly located point data bave shown that . First, making digital cartographic map, the technique of making it using low-desned randomly located point data by TIN-based results to good and fast run-time in A and B sites all together. Second, the visualization analysis results of digital cartographic map using TIN and GRID-based terrain modeling techniqus similar exacts A and B sites, but the terrain modeling techniqus by TIN-based are small data size than GRID-based with the data with the data size of saving with DXF files. Third, making digital catographic map using terrain modeling techniques by Grid-based, the standard errors of low-densed randomly located point data and interpolated data using gridding method have more good results by radial basis function interpolation techniques at A and B sites all together.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of Lung, Shenmen, and Endocrine point which were treated with auricular acupuncture therapy to stop smoking. Methods : 120 volunteers who wanted to be treated with auricular acupuncture therapy to stop smoking were divided into three groups; the treatment method for group A consisted of acupuncturing Lung point, group B consisted of acupuncturing Shenmen point and group C consisted of acupuncturing Endocrine point. The treatment was given twice per week for 8 weeks and the changes in amount of daily smoking, desire to smoking, taste of smoking and nicotine dependence as well as subjective symptoms were studied. Results : Statistically, the study showed that changes in amount of daily smoking, desire for smoking, taste of smoking and nicotine dependence were decreased significantly in all groups. Desire to smoke in group B and taste of smoking in group C were markedly decreased. The study of the subjective symptoms showed an improvement. Many participants said that they breathed easier after the treatment and group A had the highest rate. Group B fell asleep easier and Group C improved the appetite. Conclusion : Acupuncturing Lung, Shenmen, and Endocrine point showed the effects on decreasing smoking rates and the effects of individual characteristics. Therefore the acupuncture treatment with 3 points is expected to decrease smoking and to improve the health of smokers.

In this research, we measured the number of lanes, distance, disposition of apartment that are affecting the road traffic noise to evaluate the current condition of G city's road traffic noise. We decide on a basis regarding an apartment price formation factor, and the apartment current price and the results that compared. To have a point scale, we set the maximum road traffic noise at a 8 lane road for 5 points, give 4 points for a 6 lane road, which has a $2.1{\sim}2.5\;dB(A)$ difference compared to a 8 lane road, give 3 points for a 4 lane road, which has a $5.2{\sim}5.5\;dB(A)$ difference compared to a 8 lane road, and set 2 points for a 2 lane road and lower. If we set the standard floor plan as horizontal and a living room facing the roadside, the horizontal and living room facing the opposite side of the road is 1 point because it differs by 14.1 dB(A), and the vertical is 3 points since the difference is 5.3 dB(A). If we make grades by the distance, making standard the fifth floor with little soundproof effect from apartment to road, we observe a measurement below 2.9 dB(A) at a distance of less than 10 m and 5 dB(A), decreased at a distance of 20 m. Therefore, 4 points were given for less than 10m, 3 points for $10{\sim}20\;m$, 2 points for more than 20 m as we can apply the effect of a decay distance of line sound source and the decrease in noise effects of more than 6 dB(A), 1 point for more than 40m, and 0 points for more that 80 m since it is negligible. 28 apartments got 0 points because there is no effect of road traffic noise from other apartments, and 50 apartments where only the road at one side effect them got $5{\sim}10$ points. 4 apartments (17-2, 6-3, 10-4, 3-3) received over 20 points. 15 cases showed a difference between developer price and resale price, and 11 cases (73%) among them showed the same trend (price increases with a low road traffic noise restriction factor point) with the point of road traffic noise restriction factor. 4 cases demonstrated the opposite trend, showing price increases with a high restriction factor point. Among the 4 cases, case numbers 2,6 and 9 appear to be more affected by the location factor (business district) than the road traffic noise restriction factor, and case number 1 appears to be affected by the building factor (openness and direction).

In this text, we investigate some fixed point results in double-controlled cone metric spaces using several contraction mappings such as the B-contraction, the Hardy-Rogers contraction, and so on. Additionally, we prove the same fixed point results by using rational type contraction mappings, which were discussed by the authors Dass. B. K and Gupta. S. Also, a few examples are included to illustrate the results. Finally, we discuss some applications that support our main results in the field of applied mathematics.

A monolithic 5 GHz image reject mixer using a 0.5-m GaAs MESFET technology is designed and simulated. The Mixer exhibits a 13.56 dB down-conversion gain, a SSB (Single SideBand) noise figure of 11.91 dB, an input IP3 (third order intercept point) of -3.73 dBm and a PldB (1-dB compression point) of -11.0 dBm. The critical issue in the image reject mixer is the phase accuracy and magnitude balance of the 90 phase shifting network. The proposed image reject mixer realizes a 90 phase shifter on chip. This phase shifting network does not need any phase adjusting to achieve the phase error specification of 3 over a frequency range from 800 MHz to 1GHz. The simulated overall image rejection ratio is better than 50 dB.

This paper is purpose for improvement performance wireless lan of IEEE802.11a/b/g. Access point utilized a single server, multi-queuing system, FIFS system model to adapted priority multi-bufferto be alteration packet type. The main purpose of the paper improve the transmission rate and the performance of access point to settle transmission delay for load in MAC, has priority multi-buffer. We use experimentation to obtain our model of the access point and buffer-related parameters. Using our test design, we are able to extract the parameters of an analytic equation giving the average service time of a packet as a function of packer IP payload.

Objectives : The purpose of this research was to compare remote and near acupuncture point needling with near acupuncture point needling acupuncture on posterior neck pain treatment. Methods : We divided 36 patients with posterior neck pain patient into two groups and treated Group A with near acupuncture and remote acupuncture point needling and Group B with near acupuncture point needling. The efficacy of treatment was measured by VAS scores and NDI scores of before and after 5 days to start treatment. Results : Both group A and B represented effective improvement in VAS and NDI of neck pain. And group A is more effective than B group statistically. Conclusions : It was suggested that near acupuncture and remote acupuncture point needling might have more effect compared with near acupuncture point needling acupuncture on posterior neck pain treatment.

In this paper, a new method for predicting the 1 dB gain compression point of cascaded N amplifiers is proposed. With the proposed method, the transfer function of each amplifier is derived from scalar data available from the manufacturers data sheet and all transfer functions are producted with scalar in order to also derive the overall transfer function of the subsystem under the assumption that the input and output port of each amplifier are matched. Therefore, the 1 dB gain compression point of the subsystem can be predicted or estimated, reversely, utilizing the overall transfer function obtained with the proposed method. The proposed method can be used irrespective of the number of scalar data but, in this paper, it is analyzed only with two scalar data (linear power gain and 1 dB gain compression point) and three scalar data(linear power gain, 1 dB and 0.5 dB gain compression points). With two sample amplifiers operated in Ku-band, the predicted results by the proposed and previous method, respectively, and the experimental results are together presented in order to confirm its utility.

This study, involving thirty-two patients with carcinoma of uterine cervix treated by high dose rate intracavitary irradiation using a remotely controlled afterloading system, compares the doss at point A and 8 with the Curie-minutes prescription. A linear least-square regression analysis was used to compare the two sets of date. Correlation coefficients between doses at points A and B and the Ci-min prescription are 0.92 (p<0.001) and 0.90 (p<0.001), respectively, and linear relationship is observed between these two system. The limitation and significance of the comparison of the two approaches to intracavitary dosimetry is discussed.
