접지된 유전체 평면위의 저항띠 격자구조에 의한 TE 산란 해석 (Analysis of the TE Scattering by a Resistive Strip Grating Over a Grounded Dielectric Plane)

  • 본 논문에서는 스트립 폭과 격자주기, 유전체 층의 비유전율과 두께, 그리고 TE(transverse electric) 평면파의 입사각에 따른 접지된 유전체 평면위의 저항띠 격자구조에 의한 TE 산란 문제를 수치해석 방법인 FGMM(Fourier-Galerkin Moment Method)를 이용하여 해석하였다. 유도되는 표면전류밀도는 간단한 함수인 지수 함수를 사용하여 Fourier 급수로 전개하였다. 유전체층의 비유전율과 두께가 증가함에 따라 반사전력이 증가하였고, 반사전력의 급변점들은 공진효과에 기인한 것으로 과거에 wood's anomallies[7]라고 불리워졌다. 제안된 방법의 검증을 위하여 기존의 완전도체 경우인 균일 저항율 R = 0에 대한 정규화된 반사전력의 수치결과는 기존의 논문들과 일치하였다.

Obliquely incident earthquake for soil-structure interaction in layered half space

  • The earthquake input is required when the soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis is performed by the direct finite element method. In this paper, the earthquake is considered as the obliquely incident plane body wave arising from the truncated linearly elastic layered half space. An earthquake input method is developed for the time-domain three-dimensional SSI analysis. It consists of a new site response analysis method for free field and the viscous-spring artificial boundary condition for scattered field. The proposed earthquake input method can be implemented in the process of building finite element model of commercial software. It can result in the highly accurate solution by using a relatively small SSI model. The initial condition is considered for the nonlinear SSI analysis. The Daikai subway station is analyzed as an example. The effectiveness of the proposed earthquake input method is verified. The effect of the obliquely incident earthquake is studied.

모드정합법에 의한 Ka-밴드 위성중계기용 듀플렉서의 Full-Wave 분석 및 설계${\cdot}$제작에 관한 연구 (Full-Wave Analysis, Design and Fabrication of Duplexer by Mode Matching Method for Ka-Band Transponder)

  • 본 논문에서는 Ka-밴드 위성중계기용 듀플렉서의 설계를 위해 모드정합법에 의해 산란행렬을 계산하여 설계한 필터의 전달특성을 분석하고, 설계 방법의 타당성 여부 검증을 위해 대칭적 유도성 아이리스 구조와 전계면 금속삽입 구조로 설계된 2개의 대역통과 필터를 자계면 T-접합에 의한 합성방법으로 Ka-밴드 위성 중계기용 듀플렉서를 설계, 제작하였다. 제작된 듀플렉서는 위성체에서 송${\cdot}$수신 필터의 개별 사용에 따른 크기 및 두께의 증가를 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있으며, 송신필터의 경우 아이리스를 도파관 자계면 외벽으로 돌출시키는 구조로 설계함으로써 필터 자체가 방열판 구실을 하여 고전력 전송에 따른 필터의 특성 변화를 최소화하였다. 또한 대부분의 도파관 필터에서 동작특성을 보정하기 위해 사용되는 미세 보정 나사의 사용을 배제함으로써 제작의 단순화와 위성중계기용으로서의 내구성과 신뢰도를 향상시켰다. 제작된 ,Ka-밴드 위성중계기용 듀플렉서는 2개의 필터(Rx : 30.485 ${\pm}$ 0.4 GHz, Tx : 20.755 ${\pm}$ 0.4 GHz) 모두 통과대역에서 1.2dB 미만의 삽입손실(insertion loss)과 15 dB 보다 좋은 반사손실(return loss) 특성을 얻었고, 송${\cdot}$수신 필터간 65 dB 이상의 분리도(isolation)를 나타내었다.

감압 밸브 배관 시스템 내 파수-주파수 분석을 통한 곡관의 유동소음 저감에 대한 수치적 연구 (Numerical investigation on the flow noise reduction due to curved pipe based on wavenumber-frequency analysis in pressure relief valve pipe system)

  • 감압밸브에서 발생하는 급격한 압력저하는 강한 소음원으로 작용하여 배관을 따라 압축성 압력섭동을 전파시키며, 이는 음향유기진동의 가진원으로 작용한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 감압밸브가 있는 배관 시스템에서 곡관에 의한 압축성 압력섭동의 저감 효과를 확인할 수 있는 수치기법을 개발하였다. 배관 내 밀도 변화에 의한 음향파 성분을 모사하기 위해 고정밀 해석기법인 비정상 압축성 대와류모사 기법을 적용하였으며, 아격자 모델로는 Smagorinsky-Lilly 모델을 적용하였다. 배관을 따라 전파되는 압축성 압력섭동 성분을 유동장 정보로부터 추출하기 위하여 파수-주파수 분석을 수행하였으며, 곡관을 기준으로 상류방향 배관과 하류방향 배관의 벽면 압력을 활용하였다. 이를 통해 평면파 성분과 n=1에 해당하는 모드 성분이 하류 방향을 따라 강하게 나타나는 것을 확인하였으며, 곡관을 전후로 전체 음향파워가 3 dB 저감되는 것을 확인함으로써 곡관에 의한 압축성 압력섭동 저감 효과를 확인하였다.

  • This paper dealt with the measurement and analysis of electromagnetic waves generated by partial discharges in insulation oil to develop insulation diagnostic techniques for power transformer. Two types of narrow-band monopole antennas with the resonant frequency of 500 MHz and 1 GHz were designed and fabricated. We simulated defects which consist of a needle electrode with curvature radius of 10 ${\mu}m$ and a plane electrode with diameter of 60 mm in insulation oil. From the experiment, the maximum output voltage of the fabricated antennas was measured; 620 $mV_{max}$ for 500 MHz resonant frequency and 920 $mV_{max}$ for 1 GHz resonant frequency.

평행공기류에 의한 액막류 표면파의 분열기구에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on mechanism for the disintegration of liquid film surface waves by a parallel air flow)

  • This paper deals with an experimental study on the initial condition of liquid film surface waves disintegration and investigation on the behavior of liquid film surface waves formed by the high speed air flow on the solid plane surface. The authors conducted the qualitative and quantitative study to in vestigate the liquid film flow phenomena, the liquid film disintegration mechanism, and droplet formation process with breaking the liquid film surface wave. The newly devised transparent rectangular test section which has semi-two-dimensional flow at the center of the bottom was introduced to perform the experimental study, and it can generate the uniform thickness liquid film at the bottom. The strobo streak camera was used to obtain the instantaneously transformed photographs. The electronic measuring device was also used to measure the liquid film thickness variation in order to perform the easy and effective analysis of complex flow phenomena in the air-water cocurrent flow.

회전하는 원형단면 실린더 주위의 저 레이놀즈수 난류유동에 대한 직접수치모사 (Direct Numerical Simulation of Turbulent new Around a Rotating Circular Cylinder at Low Reynolds Number)

  • Turbulent flow around a rotating circular cylinder is investigated by Direct Numerical Simulation. The calculation is performed at three cases of low Reynolds number, Re=161, 348 and 623, based on the cylinder radius and friction velocity. Statistically strong similarities with fully developed channel flow are observed. Instantaneous flow visualization reveals that the turbulence length scale typically decreases as Reynolds number increases. Some insight into the spacial characteristics in conjunction with wave number is provided by wavelet analysis. The budget of dissipation rate as well as turbulent kinetic energy is computed and particular attention is given to the comparison with plane channel flow.

안벽에 계류된 선박의 비선형 운동응답 (Nonlinear Motion Responses of a Moored Ship beside Quay)

  • When a typoon sets into harbour, a moored ship shows erratic motions and even mooring line failure may occur. such troubles may be caused by harbour resonance phenomena, resulting in large motion amplitudes at low frequency, which is close ti the natural frequency of th moored ship. The nonlinear motions of a ship moored to quay are simulated under external forces due to wave, current including mooring forces in time domain. The forces due to waves are obtained from source and dipole distribution method in the frequency domain. The current forces are calculated by using slow motion maneuvering equation in the horizontal plane. The wind forces are calculated from the empirical formula of ABS and the mooring forces of ropes and fenders are modeled as linear spring.

  • In this paper, resonant wireless power transfer systems are designed with double loop resonant coils for the resonant frequency of 150kHz. The transfer efficiency characteristics is analyzed according to the coil size, and the distance and misalignment between the coils. Then the change in efficiency is investigated when a human model is located between the resonant coils using the homogeneous human phantom of IEC-62311 standard. Also, in order to assess the safety of the wireless power transfer system, the induced current density inside the human model is calculated when it is exposed to the magnetic field of a plane wave and resonant coil. Then, the results are compared with the exposure limits in the EMF (electromagnetic field) safety guidelines.

  • In this paper, we present an accurate and stable method for the solution of the transient electromagnetic response from the conducting wire structures using the time domain integral equation. By using an implicit scheme with the central finite difference approximation for the time domain electric field integral equation, we obtain the transient response from a wire scatterer illuminated by a plane wave and a conducting wire antenna with an impressed voltage source. Also, we consider a wire above a 3-dimensional conducting object. Numerical results are presented, which show the validity of the presented methodology, and compared with a conventional method using backward finite difference approximation.
