유압관로의 비정상유동에 따른 임피던스 전달특성 (A Characteristics of Impedance Propagation by the Unsteady Flow in a Hydraulic Pipeline)

  • Design for quite operation of fluid power system requires the understanding of noise and vibration characteristics of the system. This paper presents a dynamic response of design of hydraulic circuit. Experimental investigations on the attenuation of pressure ripple in automotive power steering hydraulic pipe line is examined. Also, a mathematical model of hydraulic pipe is p개posed to support a design of the hydraulic circuit. and the impedance characteristics of pressure ripple is analyzed. It is experimentally shown that power steering hydraulic pipe attenuates pressure ripple with high frequency.

조화진동유동을 포함한 직선파이프계의 혼돈운동 연구 (Chaotic Vibration of a Straight Pipe Conveying Oscillatory Flow)

  • In this paper chaotic mothions of a straight pipe conveying oscillatory flow and being subjected to external forces such as earthquake are theoretically investigated. The nonlinear partial differential equation of motion is derived by Newton's method. In this equation, the nonlinear curvature of the pipe and the thermal expansion effects are contained. The nonlinear ordinary differential equation transformed from that partial differential equation is a type of Hill's equations, which have the parametric and external exciation term. This original system is transfered to the averaged system by the averaging theory. Bifurcation curves of chaotic motion of the piping system are obtained in the general case of the frequency ratio, n by applying Melnikov's method. Numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate theorectical results and show strange attactors of the chaotic motion.

  • Construction machinery includes an engine enclosure separated from a cooling system enclosure by a wall to reduce noise and advance cooling system performance. For this structure, however, the axial fan cannot be of benefit to the engine room, and so the temperature rise in the engine room makes several bad conditions. This paper proposes that hot air in engine room is evacuated tv secondary pipe using jet pump. This paper demonstrates the structure and the effect of jet pump and useful guideline on design of area, length, and shape of secondary pipe to maximize the effect of jet pump.

조화진동유동을 포함한 곡선파이프계의 외평면 혼돈 운동 연구 (Chaotic Out-of-Plane Vibration of Curved Pipe Conveying Oscillatory Flow)

  • In this paper the chaotic out-of-plane vibrations of the uniformly curved pipe with pulsating flow are theoretically investigated. The derived equations of motion contain the effects of nonlinear curvature and torsional coupling. The corresponding nonlinear ordinary differential equation is a type of nonhomogenous Hill's equation . this is transformed into the averaged equation by averaging theorem. Bifurcation curves of chaotic motion are obtained by Melnikov's method and plotted in several cases of frequency ratios. The theoretically obtained results are demonstrated by numerical simulation. And strange attractors are shown.

  • The purpose of this paper was to identify the mechanism that caused abnormal vibration and noise on the piping system connected to discharge flow of BFP(Boiler Feed water Pump) in a coal fired power plant, and to develop the device that can reduce the level of abnormal vibration and noise. Major results of this project can be summarized as follows: First, we analyzed the acoustic mode for the discharge piping of BFP to trace a path of the noise, and assumed that noise and vibration on the piping system can be related with length of pipe. Second, a minimized model of the piping system was set up to simulate abnormal vibration and noise within the specific range of operating frequencies, and as a result we confirmed that the acoustic mode affected the piping system considerably. Finally the test device which can reduce the level of abnormal noise and vibration was built to verify validity applying for the piping system. Then we concluded that the noise and vibration generated from the piping system was attributed to the acoustic resonance in piping system, and so developed new device which can reduce the level of noise and vibration under 40%. 관로상태 진단을 위한 자동 관로 등급 판정 기법 개발 (Development of automatic pipe grading algorithm for a diagnosis of pipe status)

  • 본 논문에서는 지하에 매설되어 있는 통신 관로의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 관로상태를 진단할 수 있는 자동 관로 등급 판정 시스템을 제안하였다. 작업자에 의해 행해지던 기존의 관로 조사는 주관적인 판단에 의해 수동으로 판단하기 때문에 수치적인 정량화를 통한 관로 등급 판정 및 효율적인 데이터베이스 구축이 어렵다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 인입 길이별로 관로 단면에 레이저를 투영하여 단면의 상태를 획득하고, 획득된 영상에 대해 실제 관로 단면의 수치적인 최소 직경을 구하며 등급 판정하는 기법을 적용하였다. 제안된 기법에서는 관로 내부의 특별한 상황을 고려하여 잡음 제거 필터와 다양한 color model를 적용한 전처리 과정을 거치게 된다. 관로의 최소 직경판단 및 등급 판정은 세부처리 단계를 통하여 이루어진다. 정확도(precision)를 이용하여 제안된 시스템의 성능을 평가한 결과 90% 이상의 정확한 등급 판정이 가능한 것을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, according as the supply of power steering system has been diffused, for the comfortable driving condition, the problem to reduce the noise and vibration of this system suddenly appeared. This system can be classified two systems of the pipe line and the pump. In this paper, it is described about the noise characteristic with the camring profile of the hydraulic vane pump. As a result, when it excesses tolerance, the noise is increased. Moreover, in the case of the same of cam-ring, the effect of the rotating speed is larger than the discharge pressure.

흡음형 소음기를 사용한 세차기용 원심송풍기의 소음저감에 관한 연구 (Noise Reduction of a Blower for an Automatic Car Washer by Using Dissipative Silencers)

  • Straight absorptive silencers have been designed to reduce the noise level of a centrifugal blower. Three-dimensional boundary element method is used for the design of absorptive silencers which consist of a perforated main pipe and a outer chamber filled with fibrous material. The experimental results show that the absorptive silencer reduces up to 8 dB(A) in the overall sound pressure level of the blower and up to 15 dB at the blade passing frequency. It is also found that the gap between the silencer and the impeller may substantially alter the acoustic performance of the silencers. The transmission loss predicted by the boundary element method follows overall trends of the measured insertion loss. The experiments also show that the impact of the silencers on the aerodynamic performance of the blower is minimum.

저주파수 배기소음 저감을 위한 배기계 배치의 최적화 (Optimal layout of exhaust systems for the reduction of low-frequency noise)

  • Suppression of very low-frequency noise from an automobile exhaust system is difficult due mainly to its large wave length. Therefore, the configuration of total exhaust system, i,e., piping and muffler layout, is important at low frequencies. In this paper, an optimal layout technique of exhaust systems has been developed for reducing low-frequency exhaust noise. For this purpose, system insertion loss and virtual attenuation coefficient have been defined by considering the effects of mean flow and temperature gradient in the pipe. The applicability of present method is investigated with an actual automobile exhaust system and an optimized layout of pipes and mufflers is suggested.

  • The reduction of chopping noise generated from inverter compressor and the piping design reducing vibration are the most important items in the quality of air conditioner. The chopping noise is identified by the study of the relationship between carrier frequency and natural frequency of the compressor shell. The high carrier frequency is the key factor in reduction of carrier noise. To keep the natural frequencies of the system as far as away from the operating frequencies appears to be the most important factor in the design of piping system.
