Immunoelectron microscopic localization of partially purified antigens in adult Paragonimus iloktsuenensis

  • An immunoelectron microscopy employing immunogold labeling method was performed to detect tissue origin of Dl fraction (DIA) among 5 antigenic protein fractions partially purified by DEAE- anion exchange chromatography from water- soluble crude antigen (PIWA) of adult Paragonimus iloktsuenensis. Immune reactions of adult worm tissues with rabbit serum immunoglobulin immunized with crude antigen (PI-Ig) and D1 antigen (D1-Ig), as well as rat serum immunoglobulin infected with P. iloktsuenensis were observed. DlA showed strong antigenicity in the intestinal epithelium of the worms during the early infection period of 2-4 weeks after infection. The vitellaria also showed stronger antigenicity than the other tissue sites in immune reaction of tissues against all immunoglobulins from 4 to 33 weeks after vitelline development. Therefore, it is suggested that DlA was mainly originated from the intestinal epithelial tissues before the development of vitelline gland of the parasites. Immune-reactivity of two immunoglobulins (PI-Ig, Dl-Ig) was significantly different in intestinal epithelial cytoplasmic protrusions (CP) and intestinal epithelial secretory granules (SG). In the experimental group with Dl-Ig, gold particles were labeled significantly in CP than in SG when compared to the PI-Ig group. Thus, the major antigenic materials in Dl antigen having a strong antigenicity in the early infection period was considered to be originated from the intestinal epithelial tissue .

An ultra-compact Wilkinson power divider MMIC with an improved isolation characteristic employing RCR design method (RCR 삽입법에 의해 설계된 높은 절연특성을 가지는 초소형 MMIC용 윌킨슨 전력분배기)

  • In this work, using a ${\pi}$-type multiple coupled microstrip line structure (MCMLS) and RCR (Resistor Capacitor Resistor) structure, we fabricated ultra-compact and high isolation Wilkinson power divider on GaAs MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit). The line length of the Wilkinson power divider was reduced to about ${\lambda}$/46, and its size was 0.304 [$mm^2$], which is 12.1 % of conventional one. Compared with conventional Wilkinson power divider, isolation characteristic of the proposed Wilkinson power divider was highly improved by using RCR insertion method. The proposed Wilkinson power divider showed good RF performances in C/X band.

  • Design of IPI(Inverted PI) feeding internal antenna for the gain improvement of mobile phone was proposed. IPI feeding structure affects on both low radiation resistance of antenna and increase current for the internal antenna such as IFA(Inverted F Antenna). By these facts, antenna fed by IPI can get the gain improvement with increasing radiation efficiency. For the verification, we applied IPI feeding structure to conventional quad band IFA. Measurement shows that IPI-IFA has 0.3~2.0[dB] higher gain than conventional IFA on GSM/DCS/USPCS/WCDMA band.

Electrochemical Study for 1,3-Bisdicyanovinylindane

  • The electrochemical study has been enjoyed in many areas of chemistry. Through this approach using electrochemical measurement, empirical HOMO and LUMO values can be calculated by three methods such as absorption measurement, cyclicvoltammetry and computational calculations. In this study, 1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane was prepared and investigated toward its optical properties. The absorption intensities were changed depending on changes of pH. These absorption changes are induced by resonance form of 1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane. The electron delocalization in ${\pi}$ system is related to the resonance form. In according to this electron density distribution and HOMO/LUMO values of 1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane were simulated and calculated by Material Studio 4.3, absorption measurement and cyclicvoltammograms. The 1,3-bisdicyanovinylindane is one of the most attracted acceptor units in D-${\pi}$-A system. This attempt is useful to determine more detailed characteristics of the energy potentials.

  • In this paper proposed to Neural network PI self-tuning direct controller using Error back propagation algorithm. Proposed controller applies to speed controller and current controller. Also, this built up the interface environment to drive it simply and exactly in any kind of reference, environment fluent and parameter transaction of BLDC motor. Neural network PI self-tuning simulator using Visual C++ and Matlab Simulation is organized to construct this environment. Built-u-p interface has it's own purpose that even the user who don't have the accurate knowledge of neural network can embody operation characteristic rapidly and easily.

  • In the two-mass servo system driving a load through a flexible shaft, a shaft torsional vibration is often generated. PI controller has been generally used is speed control of such system because of the simplicity of structure and related theory. This paper presents the inertia ratio of the PI servo control system which can be designed by using optimal pole assignment method is fixed. Therefore, it's difficult to obtain the desired control characteristics for different systems only by PI control algorithm. To solve this problems the two-mass speed control system with PID controller is designed by using pole assignment method and an optimum PID parameters are derived by evaluating ITAE(Integral of time multiplied by the absolute error) performance index. But this design method has some problems due to a trade-off between the fast command following property and the attenuation of disturbances and vibrations. In this paper, 2-DOF PID control method which satisfies the command following property, the reduction of overshoot and the property of disturbance rejection at the same time is proposed. This is a practical speed controller using the desired value filter and the feedforward gain. From several simulations, it's clarified that the proposed 2-DOF PID controller is useful for the two-mass system, in comparison with the conventional PID controller.

Effects of plasmaspheric density structure on the characteristics of geomagnetic ULF pulsations

  • The structure of plasmasphere plays an important role in determining properties of geomagnetic ULF pulsations such as Pi 2 pulsations and field line resonances (FLRs) in the Earth's magnetosphere. We have performed a 3-D MHD wave simulation to investigate the generation and propagation of ULF waves in dipole geometry. Various 3-D density structures are assumed, which include a relatively sharp density gradient and gradually less slopes at the plasmapause. The former condition can refer to the plasmasphere from local midnight to dawn, whereas the latter represents the region near noon to dusk where it bulges out. We show how Pi 2 pulsations and FLRs differentially appear at both multi-point satellite locations and ground stations for different local times. Our results suggest that 1) the local radial density structure significantly affects the peak frequencies for Pi 2 oscillations, while the polarization changes remain similar in the radial direction, and 2) the radial location of strong FLRs varies for different density profiles. It is also suggested how multi satellite measurements and ground-based observations can confirm this differential feature in space.

  • 화력 발전소 드럼수위의 제어는 보일러 시스템의 효율적인 운용을 위해 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 드럼수위의 제어 목적은 드럼수위를 외란에 관계없이 항상 설정치로 유지하는 것이다. 정상 운전중에는 드럼의 중앙이하 부분에는 물이 차 있고, 상부에는 증기가 차 있으나 만일 수위가 너무 높아지면 carry over 현상이 발생하며 반대로 너무 낮으면 드럼 하부의 과열 및 튜브의 손상을 초래하여 대사고를 유발하게 되므로 드럼수위는 항상 정상으로 유지해야 한다. 드럼수위 제어루프는 처음에는 드림수위만을 제어입력으로 취하는 PI 제어기에 의해 이루어지다가, 주증기량이 일정량 이상 유지되면 드럼수위가 일정한 설정치를 유지하도록 급수량, 드럼수위, 주증기량에 의한 PI-PI 캐스케이드 형태의 제어로 절환되어 제어가 이루어진다. 또한 드럼 수위는 차압검출기에 의해서 측정되어지는데, 드럼의 압력에 따라 물과 증기의 밀도가 변하기 때문에 차압검출기에 의한 드럼수위 지시치는 드럼압력에 의한 보상도 요구되어진다. 본 논문에서는 중용량 화력발전소를 대상으로 드럼수위 보상과 드럼수위 제어기를 구현하고, 적용하여 실제 발전출력 증발시의 드럼수위 제어결과를 보임으로서 구현한 드럼수위 제어기의 효용성을 보인다.

  • Molecular orientation and polarity of solubilization site of dipolar azobenzenes solubilized in micellar solutions are discussed. The polarity of solubilization was estimated by using Taft $\pi$$^*$ scale with linear solvation energy relationship, $\Delta$E=$\Delta$E$_0$ + S($\pi$$^*$ + d$\delta$)+a$\alpha$ + b$\beta$. Hydrogen bonding effects were taken into account for the estimation of micropolarity. The polarity that azobenzenes experienced in the miceliar solutions was close to water which represented that the azobenzenes were mostly solubilized at the interface. For the orientations of azobenzenes were concerned, the nitro group of NPNOH faced the interface and the hydroxy group of NPNO$^-$ located at the interfacial area.
