Conjunctive keyword search encryption is an important technique for protecting sensitive personal health records that are outsourced to cloud servers. It has been extensively employed for cloud storage, which is a convenient storage option that saves bandwidth and economizes computing resources. However, the process of searching outsourced data may facilitate the leakage of sensitive personal information. Thus, an efficient data search approach with high security is critical. The multi-user search function is critical for personal health records (PHRs). To solve these problems, this paper proposes a novel multi-user conjunctive keyword search scheme (mNCKS) without a secure channel against keyword guessing attacks for personal health records, which is referred to as a secure channel-free mNCKS (SCF-mNCKS). The security of this scheme is demonstrated using the Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman (DBDH) and Decision Linear (D-Linear) assumptions in the standard model. Comparisons are performed to demonstrate the security advantages of the SCF-mNCKS scheme and show that it has more functions than other schemes in the case of analogous efficiency.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is how personal information protection risks affect the intention to use domestic smart banking services. VAM(Value based Adoption Model) model is validated as a theoretical background, selecting ease of use, usefulness and perceived security as a benefit factor, and considers perceived cost, technical complexity, and risk of personal information leakage as a sacrifice factor. Methods: The method of this study used questionnaire survey to collect 365 data on suer's perception on smart banking services, and also performed a structural equation modeling method using by AMOS 23. Results: The result of this paper shows that all hypothesis are accepted statistically significant except 1 hypothesis. Conclusion: This research is concluded that perceived value is affected on statistically positive impact on ease of use, usefulness and perceived security, and negative impact on perceived cost and risk of personal information violation, not statistically technical complexity.
Social Networks such as 'Facebook' and 'Myspace' are regarded as useful tools for people to share interests and maintain or expand relationships with other people. However, they pose the risk that personal information can be exposed to other people without explicit permission from the information owner. Therefore, we need a solution for this problem. Although existing social network sites allow users to specify the exposing range or users who can access their personal information, this cannot be a practical solution because the information can still be revealed to third parties through the permitted users albeit unintentionally. Usually, people allow the access of unknown person to personal data in online social networks and this implies the possibility of information leakage. We could use an access control method based on trust value, but this has the limitation that it cannot reflect the quantitative risk of information leakage. As a solution to this problem, this paper proposes an access control method based on a synthesized metric from trust and risk factors. Our various experiments show that the risk of information leakage can play an important role in the access control of online social networks.
The purpose of this study is to solve the limitations that the information security manager of company should recognize the personal information of all employees. In this study, we propose efficient personal information retention status management system to minimize information retention status of personal information and department by information security manager and departmental information security officer. To do this, we study the method of transferring the check result from the PVA system to the efficient personal information retention management system, also study ways to minimize the amount of personal information we hold. It is possible to minimize the possession of personal information by changing the one channel method managed by the information security administrator of the existing PVA system to the two channel method so that the information security manager and the information security officer can manage it.

Personal Information Protection Act was first enacted in March, 2011, amended in September, 2011 and became effective. Nevertheless, the risk of interfering with personal information protection still remains, associated with collection, plagiarism, leakage, and even sales of personal information. The public libraries are not an exception. Accordingly, this study investigates the status of personal information protection in public libraries of Seoul and Gyeonggi province. Also, it tries to discover problems associated with the act and presents a model scheme to improve this situation. The scheme relates to (1) securing of a sufficient budget; (2) reinforcing professional education related to personal information; (3) developing detailed guidelines for public libraries.

This paper proposes an artificial intelligence-based personal information area object detection optimization method in an embedded system to de-identify personal information in video data. As an object detection optimization method, first, in order to increase the detection rate for personal information areas when detecting objects, a gyro sensor is used to collect the shooting angle of the image data when acquiring the image, and the image data is converted into a horizontal image through the collected shooting angle. Based on this, each learning model was created according to changes in the size of the image resolution of the learning data and changes in the learning method of the learning engine, and the effectiveness of the optimal learning model was selected and evaluated through an experimental method. As a de-identification method, a shuffling-based masking method was used, and double-key-based encryption of the masking information was used to prevent restoration by others. In order to reuse the original image, the original image could be restored through a security key. Through this, we were able to secure security for high personal information areas and improve usability through original image restoration. The research results of this paper are expected to contribute to industrial use of data without personal information leakage and to reducing the cost of personal information protection in industrial fields using video through de-identification of personal information areas included in video data.

In this paper, we analyze the Contact Center's specific-security characteristics, including the threat model and weakness and study effective security measures focussing on protecting customer's personal information. Also, we establish the information security management system to reduce the possibility of information leakage from the internal employee in advance. As a result, we propose the "Security management model for protecting personal information for customer Contact Center" that complies with current ISO/IEC JTC 1 ISMS 27000 series standards.

A USB memory stick became common for secondary storage Unit.. But USB memory stick has critical problems as well. Such as personal information data leakage due to easy loss of the portable device. Therefore, User increased Repurchases of USB memory stick, and damage case of personal and company information data leakage increased. In this study, to prevent such loss and stolen, we propose Smart USB memory stick based on Bluetooth. Smart USB memory stick support the security and prevent the loss.

Since 2008, large-scale personal information breach incidents have occurred frequently. Even though national education, policy, and laws have been enacted and implemented to resolve the issue, personal information breaches still occur. Currently, individuals cannot confirm detailed information about what personal information has been affected, and they cannot respond to the breaches. Therefore, it is desirable to develop various methods for preventing and responding to personal information infringement caused by breach and leakage incidents and move to privacy protection behaviors. The purpose of this study is to create understanding of personal information security and information breach, to present services that can prevent breaches of personal information, to investigate the necessity of and analyze the potential public demand for such services, and to provide direction for future privacy-related information services.

As a result of various personal information leakage incidents, the government implemented enhanced privacy protection measures, and financial companies are making efforts to periodically check whether personal information is misused according to government measures, but the problem of misuse of personal information is still not improved. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of field experiments using the monitoring system for misuse of personal information and to suggest ways to improve the misuse problem. Based on the specific deterrence theory, this study examined the effects of misuse prevention according to the method of dealing with misusers, and analyzed the relationship between the duties of misusers and their years of service and misuse. It is expected that the analysis results of this study will be used for effective policy establishment.
