의류 브랜드의 체험마케팅 활동에 대한 지각이 소비자 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Perceived Experiential Marketing Activity on Consumers' Attitude toward Apparel Brands)

  • Active exploitation of experiential marketing is now practiced in diverse range of apparel brands such as luxury, sports and casual brands. Under such a market environments, this study attempts to verify the effects of consumer's experiential marketing perception by analyzing the formation process of brand attitude. The path from experiential marketing strategic modules (sense, feel, think, act, and relate) to brand loyalty is mediated by brand affect and brand trust. Two sports brands were selected as stimuli brands, and a survey was conducted on 286 consumers in their 20s and 30s. The study validates the importance of sense/feel marketing for apparel brands as it had extensive effects on brand affect which is highly significant in the formation of brand loyalty. As a result of comparative analysis of brand attitude and the path model of its formation for two brands which were different in consumers' perception of experiential marketing brand activities, the study realized that the higher the level of perceived experiential marketing, the higher the levels of brand affect, brand trust and brand loyalty. In particular, for brands perceived as actively engaged in experiential marketing, the path from the perception of experiential marketing activity to brand loyalty was clearly segmented between sensibility and rationality as sense/feel marketing had significant effects only on brand affect, and act/relate marketing only on brand trust. This study verifies the positive effects of perceived experiential marketing activities of apparel brands on brand equity, and proposes the strategic appropriateness of experiential marketing that embeds sensibility and feeling appeals.

  • Consumer expectations for ethical businesses have become increasingly high in recent years; the fashion industry is working to implement greater corporate social responsibility (CSR). This study establishes the effects of the evaluation for participation in fashion brand CSR on perceived purchase values. In particular, the process for the evaluation for participation that affect the perceived purchase value through consumer-brand identifications (personal/social) was verified and how the consumer regulatory focuses would influence this process was identified. For this study, an on-line survey was conducted that included a series of filtering questions that measured the level of social concern of respondents. Valid data from 505 female consumers were analyzed for the structure equation modeling. The empirical results suggested that the evaluation for participation in fashion brand CSR positively affected the two dimensions of consumer-brand identification; personal identification and social identification. In addition, consumer-brand identification played a role as a mediating variable in the path to influence the perceived purchase values of CSR brands. Lastly, there were differences in reactions to CSR activities by consumer groups with different regulatory focuses. The effect of the evaluation for participation in fashion brand CSR was shown to be higher for consumers with promotion focuses than on consumers with prevention focuses. The results of this study will help fashion companies understand the importance of the consumer participation in CSR by having consumers participate in ethical consumption.

흡연 시뮬레이션 게임에서 사용자와 동일한 캐릭터의 사용이 실재감, 몰입, 위험인식에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Character Identification on User Experience and Perceived Risk in Smoking Simulation Game)

  • 본 연구는 사용자 본인과 동일한 실사 캐릭터의 사용과 제3의 애니메이션 캐릭터의 사용이 흡연 시뮬레이션 게임에서 공간적 실재감, 사회적 실재감, 몰입, 감정이입, 불안, 인지된 위험과 같은 요인들에 어떠한 차이를 보이는가를 검증하기 위해 플레이테스트 실험 방법론을 수행하였다. 실험연구를 위해 '한림대학교 헬스커뮤니케이션연구소'에서 저자들이 개발한 흡연 시뮬레이션 게임인 'Smoking Sims'을 사용하여 남자 흡연자 60명을 대상으로 실험을 진행하였다. 연구의 결과 공간적 실재감, 사회적 실재감, 몰입, 감정이입과 함께 흡연에 대한 인지된 위험이 사용자 실사 캐릭터로 구성된 시뮬레이션에서 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 흡연예방과 같은 기능적 설득게임에서 사용자 본인과 동일한 캐릭터의 사용이 게임의 사용자경험은 물론 기능적 효과인 흡연위험에 대한 인식효과도 높은 것으로 나타나 기능성게임 디자인에서 캐릭터 동일시의 중요성을 제안하고 있다.

무릎들기 작업 시 전신피로 감지 수준과 근육 피로도를 활용한 다면적 피로현상 모델링 (Modeling the Multi-Dimensional Phenomenon of Fatiguing by Assessing the Perceived Whole Body Fatigue and Local Muscle Fatigue During Squat Lifting)

  • Whole body fatigue detection is an important phenomenon and the factors contributing to whole body fatigue can be controlled if a mathematical model is available for its assessment. This research study aims at developing a model that categorizes whole body exertion into fatigued and non-fatigued states based on physiological and perceived variables. For this purpose, logistic regression was used to categorize the fatigued and non-fatigued subject as dichotomous variable. Normalized mean power frequency of eight muscles from 25 subjects was taken as physiological variable along with the heart rate while Borg scale ratings were taken as perceived variables. The logit function was used to develop the logistic regression model. The coefficients of all the variables were found and significance level was checked. The detection accuracy of the model for fatigued and non-fatigues subjects was 83% and 95% respectively. It was observed that the mean power frequency of anterior deltoid and the Borg scale ratings of upper and lower extremities were significant in predicting the whole body fatigued when evaluated dichotomously (p < 0.05). The findings can help in better understanding of the importance of combined physiological and perceived exertion in designing the rest breaks for workers involved in squat lifting tasks in industrial as well as health sectors.

IPA 기법을 적용한 클라우드 서비스 품질 분석 (A Study on Cloud Service Quality by Using Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • 이 연구는 사용자 관점의 클라우드 품질항목 체계를 도출하고, 각 품질항목별 중요도와 만족도를 조사하며, 사용자-공급자의 인식 차이를 실증 분석함으로써 향후 품질 개선을 위한 정보를 제공한다. 선행 연구 조사와 전문가 포커스 그룹 평가에 의하여 도출된 13개 품질항목은 (1)기능 충분성, (2)이용 편리성, (3)서비스 가용성, (4)반응속도, (5)기술 최신성, (6)서비스 호환성, (7)서비스 맞춤화, (8)서비스 확장성, (9)시스템 보안, (10)고객비밀 보장, (11)계약 신뢰성, (12)고객대응 성실성, (13)인력 전문성이다. 13개 품질항목별 중요도와 만족도를 묻는 설문조사를 사용자 그룹과 공급자 그룹을 대상으로 각각 실시하였다. 통계 분석 결과, 각 품질항목이 얼마나 중요한지에 대하여 사용자와 공급자가 달리 인식하고 있고, 사용자의 만족도가 공급자 만족도보다 낮은 것으로 나타났다. IPA 기법 분석 결과에서도 두 그룹 간 차이가 현저하였다. 13개 품질항목 중 (1)기능 충분성, (10)고객비밀 보장 등 6개 항목의 품질개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 개선 필요성은 공급자가 아니라 사용자 관점에서 주로 제시되고 있었다. 연구 본문은 이런 분석 결과가 나타난 원인과 시사하는 바를 조명하고 있다.

EDI시스템에 있어서 내부통제가 정보시스템 보안성 및 유용성에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Internal Control on the Security and Usefulness of EDI System)

  • EDI is one of the most important information technologies in todays business environment. This study is an exploratory study on the EDI control of Korean companies in their early stage of EDI implementation. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of EDI controls on the security and usefulness of EDI systems for Korean companies who have adopted EDI. The data of fifty-one Korean companies for financial, manufacturing, and trade industries are collected by the mail survey and interview methods. The level of EDI control is mediocre on the average. The level of EDI security is low while that of EDI usefulness is mediocre. The empirical results show that the EDI controls in general improve the EDI security and usefulness significantly. Especially, the application and security control affect the EDI security significantly while the management, application, and security controls affect the EDI usefulness significantly. The gap between the level and perceived importance of control does not affect the EDI security but decreses the EDI usefulness at the marginal level of significance. The limitation of this study is that only a small number of companies are available for data collection because Korea is in the early stage of EDI implementation.

IPA 방법을 활용한 국내 건설 산업 공정관리 역량 평가 (Evaluating Schedule Management Capability in Korean Construction Industry through Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • 건설 프로젝트의 규모와 복잡성이 커지는 가운데, 체계적이고 통합적인 공정관리의 실행은 국내 건설 산업의 도전과제로 남아있다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 먼저 종합적인 관점에서 공정관리 역량을 제도 및 규정, 발주자 요구사항, 전문 인력 및 조직, 공정관리 관련 업무, 스마트건설 기술 활용 5개 분야로 정의하였다. 그리고 국내 건설 산업 종사자를 대상으로 각 분야별 공정관리 역량 요소별로 중요성과 현재수준을 평가하는 설문을 진행하고 IPA분석을 실시하여 국내 건설 산업의 공정관리 역량을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 공정관리 역량을 구성하는 다양한 요소를 대상으로 중요성을 인식되고 있지만, 현재 수준과의 격차가 존재함을 밝혀, 개선이 필요한 영역을 제시하였다. 특히 개선이 필요한 영역으로는 발주처의 공정 관리를 위한 예산 확보, 공사 기간의 적정성 산전 및 평가기준 수립, 현장 공정 관리 인력의 배치, 공정 관리 소프트웨어에 대한 투자 등이 꼽혔다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 국내 건설 산업의 공정 관리 역량에 대한 자세한 시각과 개선방향을 제시하였으며, 이는 공정관리 실무적용을 활성화하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

중환자실에서 이루어지는 간호사 인수인계 실태 및 인수인계에 대한 평가 (Status and Perception of Nursing Handover among Korean Nurses in Intensive Care Units)

  • Purpose: This study identified the current status and perception of intensive care unit nurses' handover. Methods: A cross sectional descriptive survey was employed. The population included nurse managers and staff nurses who worked in intensive care units in hospitals with more than 500 beds and excluded nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, and military hospitals. Results: Of the nurses, 61.7% were satisfied with the current handover method, 68.36% had no handover-related guidelines, and 83.2% of them perceived that the handover was important for patients' safety. The most frequent cause for errors related to handover was that the "nursing workload is heavy." The nurses perceived that their handover was informative ($5.62{\pm}0.79$) and efficient ($5.04{\pm}0.98$). The variables associated with their perception of the handover were the level of satisfaction with the current handover method, existence of handover guidelines, and importance of handover for patient safety. Conclusion: The development of standardized handover guidelines, especially for intensive care units, is necessary to reduce handover time and errors and to improve handover quality for patients'safety and high standards of nursing care.

암 환자가 지각한 가족지지와 삶의 질 (Perceived Family Support and Quality of Life Patients with Cancer)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate perceived family support and quality of life in patients with cancer. Method: Data were collected from 83 cancer patients in the 3 cities of Korea. Family support was measured using the Tae's Family Support Scale and quality of life was measured using Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-General (FACT-G). Results: The mean scores of family support and quality of life were 30.48 and 53.04 respectively. Family support was significantly different according to marital status, education level, income, living together, helper, type of treatment, and weight change. Quality of life was significantly different according to the purpose of treatment, weight change, performance status, exercise, and sleep. There was a positive correlation between family support and quality of life (r=0.499, p<0.000). Conclusion: The study results underscore the importance of family support in improving the quality of life of patients with cancer.

지각된 여객운송서비스품질에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Perceived Service Quality in the Passenger Transportation)

  • Service is the source of firm's competitive advantage in recent years. The importance of service quality in any service industry doesn't need to be disputed. Customers have expected the improvement of the quality of service they receive ,so providers are struggling to meet these expectations. This study aims at finding factors of service quality in passenger transportation. An empirical investigation and the measurement on the perceived Service Quality by customers in the passenger transportation system was carried out. The purpose of this study is to clarify the factors of service quality on the basis of service marketing concept. In order to fulfill the objectives, this paper combines research tools that include both empirical study and documentary research. Data was gathered from 239 passengers by the use of questionnaire. In this study, the established hypotheses were generated on the basis of the service quality evaluation (SERVQUAL) model. Research findings through empirical test are as follows. First, five service quality dimensions in passenger transportation are identical to SERVQUAL dimensions defined by Parasuraman, Zeithaml, and Berry in 1988. Second, demographic segments such as gender and age don't have significant different dimension of service quality. Third, there is no significant difference between groups by experiences such as price level, abroad tour and vehicle type in determinants of transportation service quality.
