신뢰성 높은 가구산업 신제품의 3D Modeling Solution 개발에 관한 연구 (- A 3D Evaluation System on Web for Reliable Furniture Product Development -)

  • This development has tried to scheme out the convenience for users to use the 3D modeling solution which is developed from the existing programs. The extended 3D modeling solution, to be developed through the use of the API which is provided and Microsoft Access, database is able to reuse the parts, subassemblies of parts, and assemblies. A methodology exhibits the possibility to use a Spinfire Professional Spinfire Reader program. The web evaluation system, which is used to connected with the Internet explorer and to construct a web service, will repeat the evaluations of the company staffs and customers about the new products which the company have designed. The furniture manufacturing company will adopt the 3D modelling solution in modelling the new products and go through the web evaluation system to collect dissatisfied facts of the customers or the company staffs against the new product. Finally, it will contribute to the enormous benefit creation of the enterprise.

  • This paper presents the comparison of Euler-Rodrigues quaternion and Euler Angles using attitude kinematics for aircraft flight simulation. It is hard for PC-Level to accomplish real-time simulation. The purpose of this paper is to accomplish real-time simulation of the aircraft dynamics modeling parts and the graphics parts. The computation time is more reduced in case of applying quaternions than Euler Angles. This paper provides a quaternions algorithm and it's applications for the real-time simulation.

  • 쾌속조형(Rapid Prototyping)기술은 다양한 형태치 재료를 사용하여 초기모형을 제작할 수 있다. Stratasys사의 FDM은 플라스틱 재료로 조형물을 제작하는 대표적인 쾌속조형공정이다. 또한 FDM으로 제작된 부품들은 하중을 받는 구조용 재료로도 사용된다. FDM은 약 300$\mu$m 두께의 가는 필라멘트의 형태의 일정한 방향으로 재료를 적층하므로, FDM으로 제작된 부품들은 이방성 재료의 성질을 나타낸다. 본 연구에서는 FDM 부품의 인장강도를 예측하기 위한 해석방법을 제시하고자 한다. 복합재를 위한 Classical Lamination Theory를 사용하여 컴퓨터 코드를 작성하였다. FDM 제품의 파괴를 예측하기 위하여 계산펀드에 Tsai-Wu failure criterion 이론을 도입하였다. 해석방법에 의해 예상되는 인장강도와 실제 실험으로 얼은 수치를 비교하였다. 예상치가 측정치에 근사한 값을 보이므로 본 계산식의 타당성이 입증되었다. 덧붙여서 FDM의 강도계산과 설계규칙이 웹기반의 제안서비스(FDMAS)에서 제공된다.

사출 성형 제품의 설계 및 해석의 통합 환경을 제공하기 위한 특징 형상 기반 비다양체 모델링 시스템의 개발 (Feature-Based Non-manifold Geometric Modeling System to Provide Integrated Environment for Design and Analysis of Injection Molding Products)

  • In order to reduce the trial-and-errors in design and production of injection molded plastic parts, there has been much research effort not only on CAE systems which simulate the injection molding process, but also on CAD systems which support initial design and re-design of plastic parts and their molds. The CAD systems and CAE systems have been developed independently with being built on different basis. That is, CAD systems manipulate the part shapes and the design features in a complete solid model, while CAE systems work on shell meshes generated on the abstract sheet model or medial surface of the part. Therefore, it is required to support the two types of geometric models and feature information in one environment to integrate CAD and CAE systems for accelerating the design speed. A feature-based non-manifold geometric modeling system has been developed to provide an integrated environment for design and analysis of injection molding products. In this system, the geometric models for CAD and CAE systems are represented by a non-manifold boundary representation and they are merged into a single geometric model. The suitable form of geometric model for any application can be extracted from this model. In addition, the feature deletion and interaction problem of the feature-based design system has been solved clearly by introducing the non-manifold Boolean operation based on 'merge and selection' algorithm. The sheet modeling capabilities were also developed for easy modeling of thin plastic parts.

서브모델링 기법을 이용한 철도차량 복합재 대차프레임의 금속재 체결부 볼트 위치 최적화 해석 연구 (A Study on Optimum Design Analysis of Bolt Locations for Metal Joint Parts of Railway Composite Bogie Frames using Sub-modeling Method)

  • 본 논문은 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재와 PVC 폼 코어로 제작된 철도차량용 복합재 대차프레임의 금속재 체결부 볼트 위치 최적화 연구에 대해 서술했다. 최적화 해석은 APDL(Ansys Parameter Design Language)을 이용한 서브모델링 기법을 적용하였으며 부분문제 근사방법에 의한 최적화를 수행하였다. 이때, 최적화 해석에 적용된 서브모델링 기법은 관심영역을 포함한 부분모델에 대한 계산을 재수행 함으로써 해석에 소요되는 시간을 절약하고 상세한 결과를 도출 할 수 있다. 복합재 대차프레임의 구조해석은 JIS E 4207에 의거하여 수행하였다. 서브모델링 기법을 적용한 복합재 대차프레임의 최적화 해석은 전체모델에 대한 결과에 비해 요소망 밀도의 조절을 통한 해석시간 절약과 상세한 결과를 얻을 수 있으며, 또한 볼트위치의 최적화로 인해 보다 낮은 Von-Mises 응력값이 나타남을 확인하였다.

Multi-Jet Modeling 3차원 프린트를 위한 표면거칠기와 제작시간의 저감을 위한 모델 분할제작 (Reduction of Surface Roughness and Build Time with Model Splitting Method for Multi-Jet Modeling 3D Printer Parts)

  • 3D printers are widely used to verify the designs in the early stage of product development, and are required to have short build time. However, the build time is still too long for a quick design review for engineers. This research focuses on how to split the prototype in order to reduce the build time and improve surface roughness. In order to verify the feasibility of prototype splitting, the build time and the roughness have been experimentally measured for various parts and build orientations. Based on the experimental results an expert system was developed for splitting the original CAD mod el by using an efficient splitting method. It can recommend a splitting plane based on build time, surface roughness and the number of divided parts. It is shown that the model splitting reduces the build time significantly and improves surface quality wit bout rough surfaces where the support was removed.

  • Telegraph 제어기는 선박의 속도제어에 사용되는 장치로 선원의 안전에 매우 직접적인 영향이 미치는 기자재이다. 이에 선주는 Telegraph 제어기에 대해 매우 높은 신뢰성을 요구하고 있으며, 선급에서는 신뢰성 검증을 위한 방법으로 HILS(hardware in loop system)테스트를 도입하고 있는 추세이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 Telegraph 제어기의 HILS 테스트를 수행하기 위한, 전기추진선박을 모델링하였다. 모델링을 위해, 전기추진터그보트의 사양을 정의하고, 배터리, 추진전동기, 선박모델 파트 등에 대해 모델링 하였다. 또한, 다양한 운전시나리오를 정의하고 이에 따라 Telegraph 제어기를 모델링하였다. 마지막으로 통합 모델에 대한 결과를 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

  • As 3-D solid modeling systems have been widely used in product design recently, dedicated design systems for molds of the products have been developed and introduced to mold manufacturers. These mold design systems provide solid modeling capabilites for mechanism to free undercuts. This paper describes an algorithm for slide design capability that has been developed based on a commercial CAD system, Unigraphics. Since the relationship between slide parts were investigated and predefined using parameters in the system, the dimensions and locations of the parts are modifed automatically when a part is modified.

  • Machine tool design concepts have evolved towards high efficiency, accurate precision. high structural integrity, and multi-functional systems. Like many other structures, machine tools are also composed of many parts. When these parts are assembled, many kinds of joints are used. In the finite element analysis of these assembled structures, most joints are commonly considered as rigid joints. But, to get the more accurate solution, we need to model these joints in a appropriate manner. In this study, rational dynamic modeling and analysis method for complex structures are studied with special attention to slide way joints. For modeling of slide way joints, a general modeling technique is used by influence coefficients method which is applied to the conversion of detailed finite element model to the equivalent reduced joint model. The theoretical part of this method is illustrated and the method is applied to the structure with slide way joint. In this method. the non-linearity of the contact surfaces is considered within a proper range and the boundary effect of the joint model can be eliminated. The proposed method was applied to finite element modal analysis of a clamp jointed cantilever beam and slide way joints of the vertical type lathe. The method can also be used to other kinds of joint modeling. The results of these analysis were compared with those of Yoshimura models and rigid joint models. which demonstrated the practical applicability of the proposed method.

객체지향형 설계정보관리시스템 모델링 (The Object-Oriented Modeling for Drawing Information Management Systems)

  • In recent years, the manufacturing industry begins to demand the PDM which integarates design and manufacturing information concurrently to reduce the time-to-market of new products. However, current commercialized PDM tools have drawbacks in representing by relational data modeling a variety of data types such as CAD files, images, audio, long text, etc. For this reason, object-oriented approaches are suggested as an alternative. In this paper, using one of object-oriented approaches, Rumbaugh's OMT(Object-Modeling Technique), we propose a data model of drawing information management systems essential for PDM. The scope of the model is limited to the information management for drawings, parts, and product structures. Static, dynamic and functional models are suggested in detail. In the models, the drawing status is classified into on-progress, approved, disposed, and released. Also, parts are classified into products, assemblies, and components.
