The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of strategic human resource management perceived by members of SMEs on organizational performance and innovation behavior. In addition, the mediator effect of innovation behavior of organizational members on the relationship between strategic human resource management and organizational performance was verified using the statistical program SPSS 21.0 program. First, the hypothesis 1, strategic human resource management (adoption and compensation, job design, training and career management, participation in decision-making) was adopted by showing positive impact on the positive impact on organizational performance. Second, hypothesis 2, strategic human resource management (recruitment and compensation, job design, training and career management, participation in decision-making) was adopted after demonstrating statistically significant influence on innovation behavior. Third, the innovation behavior perceived by Hypothesis 3 organizational members showed a positive influence on organizational performance. Hypothesis 3 was therefore adopted. Fourth, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of innovation behavior in the relationship between hypothesis 4, strategic human resource management and organizational performance, innovation behavior was analyzed to be partially mediated. In other words, strategic human resource management of organizational members has a direct impact on organizational performance, but it can show a higher positive impact on organizational performance through innovation actions in its performance.
This study apply concept mapping to realize of client participation and self-determination in social welfare program for the mental disorders. They are relatively easily marginalized in decision-making process of their program. But realization of client participation and self-determination is directly connected with effect of service. For this reason, we confirmed the applicability of concept mapping in program planning that support client participation. Case of this study is social welfare program of B community psychiatric rehabilitation center located in the A city. This program is community interchange service for the mental disorders. Interchange type is to have a food with the mental disorder and the solitary elderly. We took advantage of the concept mapping to derive the outcomes that are expecting the mental disorders and mental health social workers. Concept mapping was proceeding in six steps; preparation stage ${\rightarrow}$ idea collection stage ${\rightarrow}$ structuralization stage ${\rightarrow}$ analysis stage ${\rightarrow}$ interpretation stage ${\rightarrow}$ application stage. Participants were a total of 25 people including the mental disorders and community psychiatric rehabilitation center employees. The participants produced 42 statements. Sorting results, the mental disorders produced 6 clusters; community psychiatric rehabilitation center employees produced 3 clusters. The mental disorders classified better detail than community psychiatric rehabilitation center employees. Two group were found gap of expected outcomes each other, went narrowed it. They agreed 3 expected outcomes finally. We identified empirically the usefulness of concept mapping to realize self-determination and program participation.

This study investigated the problem of the existing rural development plan where the opinions of local residents are excluded due to the lack of expert knowledge and limited participation and sought the village development plan driven by the voluntary participation of local residents by applying a rural forum targeting rural villages to solve the problem. As a result of the study, (1) the problem of the current village development plan should be made based on the participation of local residents, and (2) this problem has remained as an important challenge. Therefore, the village improvement activities that have reflected the opinions of local residents can be said to be (3) the process that seeks the change into the rural planning process led by local residents, and this study derived the ways to ensure the voluntary behavior of local residents, strengthen local residents' capacity to create on-going villages, and expand local residents' participation opportunities in the entire process of rural planning through the application of the rural forum. (4) Although it is generally difficult for local residents to propose opinions directly and exert influence in the rural planning and design process and it is not easy to reduce the difference in the perspective between the professionals and local residents, significance lies in the fact that local residents voluntarily determine the future of their region and derive the plan. Therefore, the experience of decision-making and consensus process through the rural forum can promote the sustainability of the village creation participated by local residents and the increase of local residents' role. This study took one village as an example to reflect the results applied to the rural forum, and it is difficult to determine that it has been fully verified with the method of residents' participation. Therefore, future studies to verify the effectiveness of village creation and seek the empirical utilization measures are needed more, and the operation of education programs and various support plans suitable to the capacity and level of local residents should be promoted rather than the traditional lecture-style stereotyped education in the future for sustainable rural development.
This study is made for the purpose of analyzing the influencing factors evidently to the private security guards' job resourcefulness. Consequently this study will offer effective ways to develop the private security guards job resourcefulness. Throughout the previous study of job resourcefulness, we selected the influencing factors to the job resourcefulness, as follows : system of reward, staff development opportunity, participation in decision making, self-control and other-control for locus of control, need for achievement, self-esteem. To prove this subject, we distributed the questionnaire to the private security guards of Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi. So we used 248 answers sheets for the final analysis. As the result above study, system of reward, participation in decision making, self-control and other-control for locus of control, need for achievement, self-esteem influenced the job resourcefulness positively. Accordingly it is essential that various educational programs and objective evaluations are designed to improve the organizational and individual characteristics of private security guards. However the staff development opportunity don't have an influence on the job resourcefulness. On the basis of above study result, this study suggested some necessary ideas on managing and administrating the organization of private security effectively in the future.
Background: Japanese women in their 40s or older have been encouraged to attend breast cancer screening. However, the breast cancer screening rate in Japan is not as high as in Europe and the United States. The aim of this study was to identify psychological and personal characteristics of women concerning their participation in breast cancer screening using the Health Belief Model (HBM). In addition, the attributes of screening more easily accepted by participants were analyzed by conjoint analysis. Materials and Methods: In this cross sectional study of 3,200 age 20-69 women, data were collected by an anonymous questionnaire. Questions were based on HBM and personal characteristics, and included attitudes on hypothetical screening attributes. Data of women aged 40-69 were analyzed by logistic regression and conjoint analysis to clarify the factors affecting their participation in breast cancer screening. Results: Among responses collected from 1,280 women of age 20-69, the replies of 993 women of age 40-69 were used in the analysis. Regarding the psychological characteristics based on HBM, the odds ratios were significantly higher in "importance of cancer screening" (95%CI: 1.21-2.47) and "benefits of cancer screening" (95%CI: 1.09-2.49), whereas the odds ratio was significantly lower in "barriers to participation before cancer screening" (95%CI: 0.27-0.51). Conjoint analysis revealed that the respondents, overall, preferred screening to be low cost and by female staff members. Furthermore, it was also clarified that attributes of screening dominant in decision-making were influenced by the employment status and the type of medical insurance of the women. Conclusions: In order to increase participation in breast cancer screening, it is necessary to disseminate accurate knowledge on cancer screening and to reduce barriers to participation. In addition, the attributes of screening more easily accepted were inexpensive, provided by female staff, executed in a hospital and finished in a short time.
The projects of citizen science which is originated from citizen data collecting action driven by governmental institutes and science associations have been implemented with different form of collaboration with scientists. The themes of citizen science has extended from the ecology to astronomy, distributed computing, and particle physics. Citizen science could contribute to the advancement of science through cost-effective science research based on citizen volunteer data collecting. In addition, citizen science enhance the public understanding of science by increasing knowledge of citizen participants. The community-led citizen science projects could raise public awareness of environmental problems and promote the participation in environmental problem-solving. Citizen science projects based on local tacit knowledge can be of benefit to the local environmental policy decision making and implementation of policy. These social values of citizen science make many countries develop promoting policies of citizen science. The korean government also has introduced some citizen science projects. However there are some obstacles, such as low participation of citizen and scientists in projects which the government has to overcome in order to promote citizen science. It is important that scientists could recognize values of citizen science through the successful government driven citizen science projects and the evaluation tool of scientific career could be modified in order to promote scientist's participation. The project management should be well planned to intensify citizen participation. The government should prepare open data policy which could support a data reliability of the community-led monitoring projects. It is also desirable that a citizen science network could be made with the purpose of sharing best practices of citizen science.
This study was conducted to understand the effect of health assessment practical education on class participation, problem-solving process, academic self-efficacy, and academic achievement of nursing students. This study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were 69 nursing university students located in C city. Data were collected on two separate occasions before and after the application of the program from February 2021 to July 2021. Data were analyzed by chi-square test, independent t-test, and ANCOVA using SPSS WIN 23.0. There were significant differences in class participation(F=15.003, p<.001), academic self-efficacy(F=13.288, p=.001) and academic achievement(F=19.755, p<.001) between the experimental group and the control group. In the problem-solving process, the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group in decision-making(F=6.948, p=.010), applying the solution(F=6.232, p=.015) and evaluation-reflection(F=5.364, p=.024). It is necessary to expand case-based learning to increase the problem-solving process, class participation, academic self-efficacy, and academic achievement of nursing students.
Purpose: We analyzed how clinical nurses in Korea perceive terminally ill patients' medical decision-making. Methods: The Q-methodology which analyzes the subjectivity of each item was used. We selected 34 Q-statements among those provided by each of 37 subjects and grouped them into a shape of normal distribution using a 9 point scale. The collected data were analyzed using a QUANL PC program. Results: Four types of perception toward medical decision-making were identified. Type I focuses on patient participation, and Type II emphasizes the role of health professionals. Type III is characterized by an open-minded culture toward death, and Type IV values the role of family members. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate the need for development of a multi-disciplinary curriculum medical decision-making and death for medical and nursing students.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of employment type(direct employment, dispatch and service supplier) on risk factor exposure, health and satisfaction. The data of the 4th wave of Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS) conducted by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) in South Korea was used. Business support service industry and manufacturing industry were selected as appropriate industries for analysis. In the final analysis, 5,865 in the manufacturing industry and 1,361 in the service support industry were included. Various variables related risk, safety, satisfaction and health such as risk factor exposure, MSDs exposure, work environment satisfaction, injury probability, dangerous work, workload, physical health problem, perceived health, positive emotions, stress, participation for decision making and experience of accident/disease were analyzed and company size and age was controled. An ANCOVA was conducted to identify significant mean differences of risk, safety, satisfaction and health related variables among direct employed workers, dispatch and service supplier workers. The results showed that all the variables except stress showed a significant difference depending on employment type in the service supply industry. In the manufacturing industry, there were significant difference in the risk factor exposure, MSDs exposure, work environment satisfaction, workload, physical health problem, perceived health, and participation depending on employment type. These results indicated that the risks are unloaded to subcontract and outsourcing company workers. Based on these results, the implications of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

This study deals with the participatory design process of renovating a children's park. The process should proceed with two major elements. Firstly, the children's park should be designed from the perspective of children. Secondly, it should be designed in consideration of the context of the community. This study is divided into two parts. First is the review of theory concerning the meaning and roles of the children's park as a community space, the importance of children's participation in the design and the participatory method of the children. The second is the case study. The site for the case study is Ssial Park in Nowon-Gu, Seoul. The entire process of the case study is with community participation, from identifying the park's problems to the actual construction. At every step, through the participatory programs, the community participates in the decision making. In addition, mutual understanding among participants is pursued through diverse means of communication. The following results of the case study were found. Firstly, diverse participatory programs and the active trial to enable the community to communicate contribute to the sense of ownership and responsibility concerning the park Secondly, the community can negotiate the differences in opinions without needing the help of experts. Of course, there are limits in the case study, such as the fact that the community organization, which is the core of communication and maintenance concerning the park, is not organized through the process of a case study. Another is that more diverse methods, which inform all community members of the participatory process, should have been used.
