Purpose: This study was aimed to identify the difference in satisfaction and importance of nursing care between patients in comprehensive nursing care unit (CNCU) and general nursing care unit (GNCU). It also confirms the difference between practice environment of nursing work and nurse's intention to work. Methods: Nursing care satisfaction and importance levels were measured from 202 patients. Practice environment of nursing work and nurse's intention to work were measured from 54 nurses. Results: The satisfaction level was higher in the CNCU in comparison to the GNCU (p<.001). There was no significant difference between the importance and satisfaction level of nursing care for patients at the CNCU (p=.973), whereas in the GNCU, patients' satisfaction level was lower than the importance level (p<.001). The score for practice environment for nursing work was higher in the CNCU than in the GNCU (t=3.34, p=.002). The nurse's intention to work in the CNCU was higher than that of the GNCU, but there was no statistically significant difference. Conclusion: Through the survey, the paper suggests that comprehensive nursing care is a service type that satisfies the nursing demand (importance) that patients consider important. Results from nurses showed no significant differences.

This paper investigates passengers' perceptions of the importance and satisfaction of airline service quality for improving the quality level of airline service. Importance-performance analysis(IPA) was utilized to analyze the gap between importance and performance of airline service qualify The result showed that passengers' perceptions of the importance and performance of airline service quality differed for Korean international air passengers. In particular, IPA analysis revealed that four attributes 'meal service', 'seating comfort', 'seat space and legroom', 'check-in service' were identified in the Concentrate Here quadrant-perceived to be important, yet perceived as being performed poorly. The airlines operating from/to the Republic of Korea should concentrate on the attributes included in this quadrant to improve the quality of airline service. On the basis of the IPA analysis, airlines should identify their strengths and weaknesses and draw up a plan to maximize their profits.

Purpose This paper attempts to identify items for improving the usage of PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) systems and suggests ways to prioritize improvement items on the basis of importance. It also tries to find out differences in the importance of improvement items due to the company size, the industry, the job, or the PLM solution. Design/methodology/approach Through a survey from participants to a PLM System Conference, data were collected from a sample of 181 users who had the previous experience in using a PLM system. In order to figure out the differences in the importance among user groups, the F-test with the Scheffe test as a post-hoc analysis was used in case of equal variances and the Welch test with the Dunnett T3 test was used in case of unequal variances. Findings This study sorted out 25 improvement ideas according to their importance assessed by the PLM system users. The top five ideas are improving data consistency, error minimization, fast system response time, enhancing user recognition, and business process improvement. The support group puts higher importance than the general user group in data consistency, fast system response time, enhancing user recognition, business process improvement, dedicated team for data consistency, continuous support from management, hardware performance upgrade, output linkage to other systems, and shortening problem solving duration. The largest company group attaches significantly higher weights than the smallest company group to data consistency, error minimization, fast system response time, business process improvement, dedicated team for data consistency, security with proper access management, output linkage to other systems, and better user interface.

Selecting a proper journal to submit a research paper is a difficult task for researchers since there are many journals and various decision factors to consider during the decision process. For this reason, journal recommendation services are exist as a kind of intelligent research assistant which recommend potential journals. The existing services are executing a recommendation based on topic similarity and numerical filtering. However, it is impossible to calculate topic similarity when a researcher does not input paper data, and difficult to input clear numerical values for researchers. Therefore, the journal recommendation method which consider the importance of decision factors is proposed by constructing the preference matrix based on the paper publication history of a researcher. The proposed method was evaluated by using the actual publication history of researchers. The experiment results showed that the proposed method outperformed the compared methods.

Purpose - The field of online videos has seen rapid changes in information and communications technology (ICT) development. Despite active academic research on the use of online platforms, few studies have analyzed the relative importance among the factors determined. In this study, the relative importance of factors found in previous studies was identified for users of online video platforms in China and Korea. Through this, factors that should be considered first in research on online video use were derived. In addition, the quality level of online video platforms currently used in China and Korea was measured and used for analysis. The analysis results can provide information for companies to enter Chinese and Korean markets and also be useful to platform providers aiming to increase usage. Design/methodology - Among the factors of Online Video Usage identified in previous studies, 13 factors to be studied were selected through focus group interviews and hierarchized into 2 layers. For the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), each factor was designed as a pairwise comparison questionnaire. The survey included questions on the quality of online video platform currently in use. Data collection was conducted on 16 platforms in China and 11 platforms in Korea, and the relative importance of factors and user perspectives was compared and analyzed using importance performance analysis (IPA). In the analytical process, platforms were divided into over-the-top (OTT) group and Creator group according to the weight of user-generated content, and data analysis focused on these groups. Findings - As a result of AHP, China and Korea showed both "Fun" and "Interests" factors at the top, while the importance of the Entertainment factor "Vicarious satisfaction" was very different for China and Korea. "Relationship with content creators" was the most important factor in China, but it ranked the lowest in Korea. The IPA showed that the factors with high importance and performance were fun, interests, and easy accessibility for both China and Korea. In contrast, the factors that showed low performance compared to high importance in China were relationship with content creators, relationship with acquaintances/friends, and trustworthiness. As for Korea, vicarious satisfaction was observed; thus, this study has raised the need for academic and industrial interest in vicarious satisfaction. The results show that fun, interests, vicarious satisfaction, and easy accessibility of the platform are factors that must be included in further studies on online videos. Originality/value - Existing studies related to the use of online platforms have derived factors or focused on the influence relationship between factors and performance. However, few studies have analyzed the relative importance among the determined factors. This paper explores factors to be considered in future studies by deriving the relative importance between these factors from the perspective of users in China and Korea.

To establish the stockpile importance index, value assessment procedure is employed with two attributes; item's essentiality and Unsatisfactoriness rate of requirements, Then we propose the balancing of stockpile importance index among stockpile items as a reasonable objective for stockpile problem.

High voltage motors are the core equipment of electric generation facilities and need to guarantee stable operation. Therefore, keeping healthy state is of importance by means of insulation diagnosis periodically. However, if the diagnosis went through in the different circumstances such as temperature, humidity, and impedance applied to the test equipment, the trend analysis have no significance. This paper presents the experimental results supporting the importance of keeping the same conditions under insulation diagnosis.

This paper reviewed the relationship between job characteristics and incremental innovation, and the moderating effect of tenure. The results of multiple regression analysis, based on the responses from 241 employees in service industry, showed that job variety, identity, importance, autonomy and feedback have positive relationships with incremental innovation. In moderating effects, tenure interacts with variety and identity to have positive effects on incremental innovation, but tenure interacts with job importance, autonomy and feedback to have negative effects on incremental innovation.

This paper presents the optimization steps with weight and importance of estimated characteristic values in the multiresponse surface analysis(MRA). The research introduces the shape parameter of individual desirability function for relaxation and tighening of specification bounds. The study also proposes the combinded desirability function using arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means considering the measurement unit and numerical pattern.

Wind-induced oscillations are known to cause damage to the conductors and related hardware through fatigue, clashing of the bundled conductors and bolt loosening. Wake-induced oscillations have been known since the advent of bundled conductors. they are caused by aerodynamically unstable forces acting on the leeward conductors in the wake of the windward conductors, In order to control it, spacer dampers are installed in transmission lines with bundled conductors. Spacer damper installation is very important, it can cause damage to the conductors and spaer damper itself. This paper suggests importance of spacer damper installation in bundled conductor systems.
