  • This study develops and empirically tests a comprehensive model of consumers' brand page experiences that illuminates dynamics among perceived values (practical value, stimulation, enjoyment, and social identification), brand page engagement dimensions (cognitive engagement, affective engagement, and behavioral engagement) and brand loyalty. An online survey was employed for data collection. We collected 358 usable responses for data analysis. Structural equation modeling results show that three dimensions of perceived values (practical value, perceived enjoyment, and social identification) positively affect brand engagement dimensions, while perceived stimulation affects affective engagement only. As for the roles of brand page engagement, affective and behavioral engagement positively influence brand loyalty. This study demonstrates how consumers' perceived values of brand page experience influence each dimension of brand page engagement and how each dimension has a different impact on brand loyalty. The results of this study provide substantive contributions to the consumers' brand page experience and engagement literature and brand page management on social media for developing brand loyalty.

  • The title page of a book is a reliable source, since it. together with its verso, usually contains all bibliographically significant data. Generally, the title page is a page at the beginning of a book giving its title and the names of the author and publisher. Prescribing a source of information from which data elements should be derived is a way of specifying how an entity can represent itself. In simpler times, when bibliographic entities were fur the most part books published in Western countries, the choice of source was obviously the title page. the "face of the book".

  • Nowadays, large size flash memory drives with more than a couple of hundreds of gigabytes are common. This paper presents an efficient cache management scheme of flash translation layer, called TPC-FTL, for large size flash memory drives. Since flash drives of large size usually contain large size RAM, we can enhance the performance of page mapping cache by using more RAM for the cache. But if the size exceeds a threshold, the existing schemes are impractical for real devices, because the time for cache manipulation becomes too long. TPC-FTL manages the cache in translation page unit, not in logical page number unit used in existing schemes. Since a translation page covers a large number of logical page numbers (for example, 512 for 2KB size page), the number of cache elements can be reduced up to a practical level. A performance evaluation shows that average response time, an important performance measure, is better than existing schemes via the effect of utilizing spacial locality in addition to temporal locality.

  • As fast storage has become popular, the memory management system designed for hard disks needs to be reconsidered. In this paper, we observe that memory access latency is sensitive to the page size when fast storage is adopted. We find the reason from the TLB miss rate, which has the increased impact on the memory access latency in comparison with the page fault rate, and there is trade-off between the TLB miss rate and the page fault rate as the page size is varied. To handle such situations, we model the page fault rate and the TLB miss rate accurately as a function of the page size. Specifically, we show that the power fit and the exponential fit with two terms are appropriate for fitting the TLB miss rate and the page fault rate, respectively. We validate the effectiveness of our model by comparing the estimated values from the model and real values.

  • In general, PCM (Phase Change Memory) is unsuitable as a main memory because it has limitations: high read/write latency and low endurance. However, the DRAM&PCM hybrid memory with the same level is one of the effective structures for a next generation main memory because it can utilize an advantage of both DRAM and PCM. Therefore, it needs an effective page management method for exploiting each memory characteristics dynamically and adaptively. So we aim reducing an access time and write count of PCM by using an effective page replacement. According to our simulation, the proposed algorithm for the DRAM&PCM hybrid can reduce the PCM access count by around 60% and the PCM write count by 42% given the same PCM size, compared with Clock-DWF algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose a new page replacement policy using recency and frequency on hybrid main memory. The proposal has two features. First, when a page fault occurs in the main memory, the proposal allocates it to DRAM, regardless of operation types such as read or write. The page allocated by the page fault is likely to be high probability of re-reference in the near future. Our allocation can reduce the frequency of write operations in PCM. Second, if the write operations are frequently performed on pages of PCM, the pages are migrated from PCM to DRAM. Otherwise, the pages are maintained in PCM, to reduce the number of unnecessary page migrations from PCM. In our experiments, the proposal reduced the number of page migrations from PCM about 32.12% on average and reduced the number of write operations in PCM about 44.64% on average, compared to CLOCK-DWF. Moreover, the proposal reduced the energy consumption about 15.61%, and 3.04%, compared to other page replacement policies.

  • To replace conventional DRAM, many researches have been done on nonvolatile memories. The DRAM&PCM hybrid memory is one of the effective structure because it can utilize an advantage of DRAM and PCM. However, in order to use this characteristics, pages can be replaced frequently between DRAM and PCM. Therefore, PCM still has major problem that has write-limits. Therefore, it needs an effective page management method for exploiting each memory characteristics dynamically and adaptively. So we aim reducing an average access time and write count of PCM by utilizing two locality for an effective page replacement. We proposed a page selection algorithm which is recently requested to write in DRAM and an algorithm witch uses two locality in PCM. According to our simulation, the proposed algorithm for the DRAM&PCM hybrid can reduce the PCM write count by around 22% and the average access time by 31% given the same PCM size, compared with CLOCK-DWF algorithm.

  • Customer engagement has been the main objective of brand companies in their marketing through social networking sites (SNS). Facebook is the most popular platform for SNS marketing, especially for companies that try to engage with their customers by providing various values through their brand pages (i.e., brand communities). The management of brand pages, therefore, becomes "the means" by which to achieve the result ("the end") of SNS marketing, and visitors to the brand pages (i.e., brand communities) then come to have a favorable attitude toward the brand. Based on a "means-ends" framework, this study examines the development of engagement between customers and brands in terms of brand page engagement as the means objective and brand attitude as the ends objective in the context of Facebook. This study further examines the antecedents and consequences of brand page engagement based on the customer value theory with two-stage data collection. This study contributes to the literature by explaining the roles and effects of brand page engagement in SNS marketing. This study further provides guidance to SNS providers and practitioners on SNS marketing strategies.
