Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of death in paramedic student. The results of this study will help develop education program for death orientation, paramedic students education and practice. Methods : A total of 201 paramedic students filled out the questionnaire. The perception of death was examined using questionnaires designed for examining Death Orientation. The data were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 statistics program for frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, cronbach alpha coefficient, factor analysis. cronbach alpha coefficient was .866. Results : The paramedic students' got a score of $2.35({\pm}.48)$ on the Orientation on death as average. The reason is that death is not yet pressing them at all and ahead of their lives they have many days to live. With respect to the Death Orientation, significant differences was found in experience of death(t=2.318, p=.021). Group of death experience was higher than group of no death experience. In view of the attitude on afterlife, students responded no afterlife(24.9%), unknown after death(22.4%). Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that paramedic curriculum should include education program on death and improve quality of prehospital care. Additional studies are needed to establish death education for paramedic.

Purpose: This study was done for the purpose of comparing death orientation scores of nurses before and after a hospice training program. Method: The participants were 56 nurses who completed the hospice training program at C university in Kwang Ju city. The data were gathered from October 2001 to December 2002 by questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using frequency, paired t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The mean scores for death orientation before and after hospice training were mid range scores of 57.2 and 57.0 respectively and this difference was not significant. The death orientation score before hospice training was significantly different according to the 'work place (F=3.16, p=.033)' of nurses but after the hospice training there was no significant difference for any of the general characteristics. The death orientation scores before and after hospice training showed no correlation with the religiosity score either. Conclusion: Considering the mid range scores and the lack of significant difference after the intervention, this study shows that there is a need to analyze the content of hospice education programs and the need to change death orientation. This is especially true when the participants are professional hospice nurses who are being prepared to give care to people who are dying. In order to develop more appropriate programs there is a need to examine the process by which nurses come to view death more positively.

The purpose of this study was to verify the effectiveness of the computerized cognitive rehabilitation program in which areas and to suggest effective ways to utilize the program in the future, being conducted for 20 college students. We lasted this study from May 3 to 23, 2021. As a result of analyzing the groups using the Computer-based Cognitive Rehabilitation Program (CoTras), in terms of the difference in accuracy for the case of visual perception group B was statistically significantly improved than group C(p<0.05). In the case of attention, memory, and orientation, there was no significant difference between groups(p>0.05). In the case of reaction time difference, there was no significant difference between groups in visual perception, concentration, memory, and orientation(p>0.05). And in order to improve attention and visual perception, it is recommended to conduct the program three times with a duration of 20 minutes, and in order to improve orientation and memory, it can be said that it is helpful to conduct one experiment for at least 30 minutes rather than conducting short and frequent experiments. Through this study, we found that it is effective to apply different times according to each area to improve cognitive function. In other words, depending on the purpose of which cognitive function is to be improved, the duration of the program should be applied differently.
This study was conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the simulation-based orientation program for students preparing for clinical practice in child nursing for the first time. A quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group, pre-posttest design was used. The subjects were 70 3rd grade nursing students who started clinical practice. The simulation-based orientation was applied to 35 students in the experimental group, and the existing lecture style orientation was applied to 35 students in the control group. Data collection was conducted on the nursing competence, perceived stress, self-efficacy, and communication skills before and after orientation. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. As a result of the study, the simulation-based orientation program before child nursing practice of nursing college students was found to improve nursing competence (t=5.390, p<.001). Perceived stress, self-efficacy, and communication skills all increased after practice, but were not statistically significant. Therefore, it is necessary to fully consider the situation of students when constructing and operating the contents of the simulation-based orientation.

The purpose of this study was to exame the effect of the planned indoctrination program on the role transition of new graduate nurses in one educational hospital located in Seoul. The planned in doctrination program was a 1-month program and consisted of 3 days induction and 22 days orientation- socialization. The simulated control group pretest-posttest research was designed for this study. One hundred and twenty subjects were selected from the new graduate nurses who were employed by the Seoul National Univerty Hospital. Sixty of them were assigned to the pretest, and the rest to the posttest. To collect the data on role transition, the researcher developed the instrument, measuring 3 differert areas : inducction, orientation, and socialization. The reliability of the instrument were induction area's Chronbach ${\alpha}$ .8291, orientation area's Chronbach ${\alpha}$ .9809, and soialization area's Chronbach ${\alpha}$ .8524. The data were collected from Aprial to October 1995 at three different times: (1) immediately before indoctrination program began, (2) immediately after the program ended, and (3) 2 months after the program ended. In addition to the self-report of the subjects, their superiors filled out the same instrument on role transition to compare the scores between the subjects and their superiors at 2 months after the program. T-test was utilized to test differences between the means of pre- and post-tests. The result of this study are as follows : 1. There was a significant difference in the mean scores between before and immediately after the indoctrination program (t=-12.65, P=.000). There were significant differences in all 3 areas of role transition. 2. There was a significant difference in the mean scores between immediately after and 2 months after the program (t=-2.91, P=.004), Among 3 areas of role transition, however, only in the orientation area was there significant difference (t=-3.26, P=.001). 3. There was no significant difference in total mean scores between subjects' self-report and their superiors' report 2 months after the program ended (t =.97, p= .335). Among 3 different areas, however, there was a significant difference in the induction area (t=2.41, P=.018). 4. There was significant difference in mean scores between the group Of 3-year diploma and 4-year bachelor's degree only at pretest (t=-2.56, P= .013), but not at two posttests (t=-1.08, P=.250: t=-.34, P=.733). In conclusion, the planned indoctrination program for new graduate nurses was proved to be effective on the role transition in the study. But the result in the study showed that the indoctrination program had not equal effect On 3 different areas of role transition. There were significant differences in the scores between after and 2 months after the program only in the orientation area. These suggest that indoctrination program should be developed more focusing on induction and socialization areas to help new graduate nurses have a high morale and enthusiasm for the organization. Also contineous program to facilitate induction and socialization might be necessary for them to have a successful role transition.
Objectives: This study aims to investigate the impact of clinical dental hygienists on customer orientation and prepare basic data for the rational and efficient human resource management of dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 220 dental hygienists from July 7 to August 8, 2019. Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 program with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The customer orientation of clinical dental hygienists was 4.09, internal marketing was 3.10, organizational citizenship behavior was 3.97, and self-efficacy was 3.91. The variables that most influenced their turnover intention were those related to organizational citizenship behavior. These factors showed a 28.8% variance among dental hygienists. Conclusions: This study recommends the development and application of a program that enhances dental hygienists' customer orientation, recognizes them as internal clients, and improves dental productivity.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between values orientation and fashion image orientation with a focus on the new senior generation. The study conducted data analysis by using the SPSS 17.0 program for the final 397 copies excluding incomplete questionnaires. The results of this study are as follows. First, values orientation was drawn as the four factors of social orientation, dependent orientation, family-like orientation, and individual orientation. The fashion image orientation was compartmentalized as three factors: urban image, individual image, and feminine image. Second, social orientation had a significant effect on feminine image as shown in Photo 1, while only individual orientation exerted a significant influence on individual image (Photo 2). Social orientation and family-like orientation respectively exercised a significant influence on individual image and feminine image, and feminine image (Photo 3). Third, the four groups did not show a significant difference in the relationship with the sub-elements of fashion image orientation. It appeared that all four groups were felt as a complex image in which modern, feminine, and individual images were mixed. Fourth, the four groups showed a significant difference in the unusual, elegant, refined, youthful, feminine, and modern images among the factors of fashion image orientation.
This study attempted to analyze between TV and family. While almost research has focused on the TV influencing family, this study has tried to contemplate family type and family communication pattern influencing TV use. Especially, this research focused on adolescent TV use. The result and conclusion are as follow: There are different children's TV watching styles based on family communication pattern(conversation-orientation and conformity-orientation). The amount of TV watching is high in conformity-orientation family pattern, and the amount of TV watching is low in conversation-orientation family pattern. In addition, conformity-orientation family pattern more prefer entertainment program, while conversation-orientation family pattern prefer informational program.

This study examines the awareness of the curriculum of the cabin service major students at 2 year colleges through the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model and an empirical analysis on how their awareness affects Service Orientation and Service Hospitality. It was proven that the CIPP evaluation model has a positive effect on the satisfaction of their department, and also has a meaningful effect on Service Hospitality and Service Orientation statistically. However, the satisfaction of their department itself is not associated with the increase of Service Orientation and Service Hospitality so it negatively affected them. Moreover, both the Service Management program(Process) and Service Attitude(Product) have a meaningful effect on Service Hospitality, and Service Hospitality also has a meaningful effect on Service Orientation. So it resulted in a casual relationship among them. As a result, it is desperately necessary to promote an educational environment that will increase the satisfaction of the department and help students to become flight attendants. It is also necessary to increase awareness of the Service Management program(Process) and Service Attitude(Product).
The purpose of this study was to develop an education program for hospice care and to examine the effect of the program. The education program for hospice care was developed based on the philosophy and principle of Hospice and integrated with various professional areas related to the problems with which terminal patients and their family might be associated. The program was continued for 16 weeks and consisted of lectures and practices. The courses of this program were The Concept and Principle of Hospice, The Role of the Hospice Nurse, The Characteristics of Terminal Disease, Physical Care in Terminal Patients, Death Orientation, Psychological care for Terminal Patients, Spiritual care for Terminal Patients, and Care for the Family. To identify the effect of the education program for hospice care, the difference in death orientation of subjects between the pre and post performance of the education program was examined using the t-test. The finding of this statistic indicated that this education program for hospice care was effective in terms of changing the death orientation of subjects with positive direction. The education program for hospice care was performed several times at Kwangrim Hospice Missionary, Chungbuk University Hospital, and Wooam Church. Case studies were reported for a description of content of hospice care experienced by subjects after the performance of education, put this at the beginning 8 the sentence. In conclusion, the education program for hospice care was developed effectively. Therefore, this program should be used to educate and activate the subjects in community to be participants in hospice care.
