안전참여활동에 대한 안전동기의 조절효과에 관한 연구 : 중소기업을 중심으로 (The moderating effect of safety motivation on employee safety participation in SME)

  • With Zohar(l980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between safety efforts and employee safety participation, and the moderating effect of safety motivation on such relationship. Based on the responses from 643 manufacturing workers, the results of statistical analysis showed that company precaution activity and management safety involvement have affirmative effects on the employee safety participation, but safety education has not. The extent precaution activity forces on participation activity is proved to be influenced by employee safety motivation.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically Investigate the critical success factors affecting the participation of B2B e-marketplace from a perspective of buyers and sellers. The research model presented in this study suggests that the success of B2B e-marketplace depends on the degree of participation of buyers and sellers. It is hypothesized that the participation of buyers and sellers is related with several contextual factors. The contextual factors included: (a) industry and market factor; (b) Internal environment factor; (c) product factor; (d) Inter-organizational factor; and (e) B2B e-marketplace system and strategy factor. An analysis of data from 31 buyer firms and 31 seller firms reveals that those five factors have a significant effect on the participation and success of B2B e-marketplace. The implications of the study are discussed and further research directions are proposed.

  • The proportion of software in the automotive industry is steadily increasing due to the rapid technological development of automobile E/E parts. Because the automotive E/E technology is now on the basis of intelligent automobile and advanced safety automobile technology. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational capability (organizational resource capability and management capability), process capability (process capability, customer Requirement management capability), performance dimension (motivation, participation level). In this study, we conducted questionnaires and statistical analysis on engineers (members of the Korea Advanced Automotive Technology Association) who perform research and development activities in the R&D organization of the automotive E/E part in South Korea. ANOVA is applied for the verification of the difference in performance measured by organizational capability, process maturity, and motivation participation level according to company characteristics (level of processing : supply chain configuration, annual sales, total SW development ratio). According to the results of this study, in order to improve the performance of ASPICE or ISO 26262-related consulting project, a different consulting approach strategy considering the characteristics of organization and personnel is needed. In summary, the analysis results for the three main treatment levels are as follows. The difference in organizational capacity, process capability and performance was found to be statistically significant according to supply chain configuration and annual sales, but it was found that the difference of response according to the proportion of total SW was not significant.

텔레마케팅 조직구성원이 인식한 변혁적 리더십이 조직성과에 미치는 영향-팔로워십의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The effect of transformational leadership recognized by members of the telemarketing organization on organizational performance-centered on the moderating effect of followership)

  • 본 연구는 조직성과 극대화를 위해 2000년대 이후 크게 확대되고 있는 텔레마케팅 조직에서 이들이 인지하는 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 조직성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 조사하고자 하였다. 특히 본 연구는 팔로워십에 주목하여 조직구성원이 인식한 변혁적 리더십의 조직성과에 대한 관계에서의 조절효과를 탐색하였다. 텔레마케터들은 서비스 접점에서 마케팅 측면에서 기업 성과에 큰 영향을 있지만, 이들의 업무 특수성을 고려한 체계적 관리는 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구에서 설정한 연구모형검증을 위하여, 국내 콜센터 10곳에서 수집한 321개의 설문지를 분석하였다. 신뢰도, 상관관계, 요인분석, 위계적 회귀분석이 수행되었으며, 분석결과 텔레마케팅 조직구성원이 인식한 변혁적 리더십은 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 팔로워십의 4가지 하위변인인 목표일치성, 능동적 참여, 비판적 사고, 팀정신 모두 조직성과에 정적인(+) 영향을 주며, 이중 목표일치성과 능동적 참여는 변혁적 리더십과 조직성과의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 텔레마케팅 조직 내에서 고객과 통화가 시작된 시점에서 자신의 지식과 경험을 바탕으로 1:1 대응을 해야 하는 텔레마케터의 특수한 업무환경을 고려할 때 리더가 개별 구성원의 역량에 맞도록 자기 개발과 동기부여를 해야 함을 강조한다. 또한 텔레마케터가 상대적으로 조직 내의 활동과 업무수행에 적극적으로 참여할 수 없는 상황과 고용의 불안정성이 존재하는 상황에서 실무적으로도 많은 시사점을 갖고 있다. 실무적으로는 텔레마케팅 서비스 조직에서 변혁적리더십과 팔로워십을 높이기 위한 기업교육적인 역할의 필요성과 구성원들이 팔로워십을 발휘할 수 있는 분위기를 마련하고, 의사소통 구조를 개방하는 등 다양한 환경구축의 필요성을 시사한다.

비즈니스 생태계의 고객참여와 심리적 오너십: 다음카카오와 페이스북의 생태계 (Customer Participation into Business Ecosystems and Psychological Ownership: DaumKakao and Facebook Ecosystems)

  • Purpose By participating in the business ecosystems, customers make both positive and negative impacts in the ecosystem. In particular, users of platform businesses participate in the business ecosystem as partial employees who voluntarily create and manage content. According to the organizational behavior literature, employees' psychological ownership toward the organization has an influence on the organizational competitiveness. Thus, with an assumption that customers gain psychological ownership toward the business that they participate in, it is important to analyze the process and the factors that influence their psychological ownership. This study proposes a research model that describes the process: customers undertake customer socialization, which then lead them to participate in the business-level and the business ecosystem-level activities. Through the participation, customers gain psychological ownership toward the business. Design/methodology/approach Based on a structural equation model, this study analyzes the data regarding the factors in the research model. Data was collected by surveying college students who represent themselves as Facebook and DaumKakao users. By analyzing the collected data, the relationships are validated between customer socialization and customer participations (i.e., both business-level and business ecosystem-level participation), and between the participations and customers' psychological ownership. Findings Based on the validation, this study confirms the importance of managing customers' psychological ownership and offers customers' participation by their socialization as a solution for increasing customers' psychological ownership. Also, this study proposes the business ecosystem research model as the general research framework for future research and expands the scope of strategic management from the individual level strategy to the business ecosystem wide perspective.

오픈소스 개발 커뮤니티 참여자들의 지속적 지식기여 의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sustaining Knowledge Contribution Intention of Participants in the Open Source Software Development Communities)

  • 오픈소스 소프트웨어는 그 자체의 혁신성으로 인해 차별화되며, 혁신성의 원천은 기술적인 문제를 공유하여 함께 해결하는 것에서 비롯된다. 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 개발자들의 자발적 참여와 협력이 지속적인 참여에 미치는 영향을 분석하였고, 이러한 상관관계를 조직시민행동이론과 사회적 자본이론을 결합하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 Bolino et al.(2002)의 조직시민행동과 사회적 자본의 연관성 연구, Wasko and Faraj(2005)의 사회적 자본과 지식기여의 연관성 연구를 토대로 연구모형 및 연구가설을 설정하였다. 오픈소스 개발자 152명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고, 구조방정식을 통하여 가설을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 조직시민행동의 충성, 사회적 참여, 변화주도적 참여가 사회적 자본을 축적하는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적 자본의 상호호혜성과 공유 비전은 지속적 지식기여 의도를 강화하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 사회적 참여와 공유 비전, 응집성과 지속적 지식기여 의도 간의 관계는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

지역사회 자발적 결사체의 연결망과 지역사회 역량 (The Network Analysis for Community Voluntary Organizations and Its Implication for Community Capacity Building Toward Health Promotion)

  • The paradigm of health promotion requests community participation and its active problem-solving. Community is conceptualized as a resource pool to be organized. Such resource is called community capacity. Community participation is a process of capacity building. Community voluntary associations are considered as valuable resource to be used for health promotion. This paper tried to identify the network structure among community voluntary associations and to infer the possibility to make such network of organizations participate in health promotion programs. Two survey data were used for this research: 1) Measurements and Evaluations of Community Capacity on Dobong-gu (N=94) 2) A development plan of health medicine service to be Healthy Gangdong-gu (N=69). The questionnaire included such variables measuring community capacity as leadership, membership, organizational resources, and inter-organizational network, etc. Both regions had the following common characteristics: 1) There were positive correlations between the organization's budget and membership. 2) Organizational types were associated with their founded years. Two regions showed the following differences: Dobong displayed the high density of community organizations, but Gangdong showed the low density. Dobong community organizations were able to be classified into three network clusters such as women & environments, youth & adolescent, and sports organizations. Each cluster of organizations favored the different type of health promotion programs. Gangdong community organizations were less developed, and not possible to be clustered. Depending upon the level of community capacity or community organizations' differentiation, the strategy of community participation could be settle down in different ways. Particularly the health agency had to pay more attention to support the growth of civil organizations.

A Study of the Impact of Knowledge Sharing and Utilization on the Characteristics and Joint Performance of the Participants in an International Joint Ventures

  • 본 연구는 국제합작사업 기업들을 대상으로 합작사업 참여기업 간 지식공유 및 활용이 참여자간 특성과 합작 성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 국제합작사업의 지식공유 및 활용이 국제합작사업 참여기업 간 특성인 참여기업 간 계약준수, 사업 참여 동기 및 의지, 경영 자율성, 조직문화들과 합작성과에 어떠한 유의한 영향을 미치며 또한, 국제합작사업 기업들만이 가지는 특징을 실증분석을 통하여 알아보고자 하였다. 실증분석결과 지식공유 및 활용은 계약준수, 경영자율성, 사업 참여 동기 및 의지, 조직문화에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 계약준수, 경영자율성, 사업 참여 동기 및 의지는 합작성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

의료기관에서 리더십과 조직문화가 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -치과의원 중심으로- (The Effect of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Organizational Effectiveness : A Dental Clinics-Based Study)

  • This study aims to explore how the transformational leadership (consisting of three factors"charisma, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation) and the organizational culture (typified by developmental, rational, consensual, and hierarchical culture) are related to the organizational effectiveness (consisting of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intention to leave a job) of dental clinics. We found the following empirical results through a survey of 378 persons who work in dental clinics. Firstly, the respondents acknowledged charismatic leadership as the typical type of leadership ; as for organizational culture, a culture of consensus is recognized as the representative type. Secondly, transformational leadership has different effects according to the type of organizational culture: a positive influence in developmental and rational cultures, but a negative influence in consensual and hierarchical cultures. Thirdly, developmental culture has proven to be the most suitable for increasing job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The developmental, rational, and consensual cultures have all contributed to reducing intention to leave among clinic staff, whereas in the hierarchical culture, intention has been elevated. Fourthly, transformational leadership has a positive effect on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment; the intent to leave has been lessened under individualized consideration and charismatic leadership, but has been increased under leadership of intellectual stimulation. Fifthly, it is consideration and charisma that help to increase organizational effectiveness. These influences will become more effective through a developmental culture. Based on the above empirical results, we propose practical measures to improve the organizational effectiveness of clinics, in particular dental clinics. In order to build developmental culture, the doctor (manager) should produce an atmosphere in the clinic in which staff members are able to create and jointly own ideas and then promote awareness of staff participation. Additionally, in order to bring leadership of charisma and consideration into full play, the doctor should shape a relationship of mutual trust mainly by recognizing and praising the work of clinic staff. Finally, the doctor needs to acknowledge that organizational effectiveness can be significantly improved by increasing the transparency of the business.

A Structural Model of Intra-Organizational Diffusion of Information Technology: Firm′s Database System Adoption

  • The objectives of the study are to build a structural model of intra-organizational diffusion of information technology and to test this model. Data were collected from senior managers of the purchasing department through questionnaires and statistically analyzed using the structural equation modeling. The questionnaires were concerning firm's database system adoption. Key findings of the study are as follows. First, buying center dynamics (i.e., buying center decision centrality, participation in buying center, and top-management support) are substantially related to the intra-organizational diffusion. Second, environmental characteristics (i.e., market turbulence, technological turbulence, and competitive intensity) indirectly affect on intra-organizational diffusion via buying center dynamics.
