As business looks towards the $21^{\st}$ century, a long-term strategy that focuses on global sourcing will be the vital factor in whether companies win or lose. At the same time, with electronic components, it is important to ensure stable quality and reliability, together with other important parameters. In order to achieve this, creating an effective mechanism of failure analysis and database management for electronic components is essential. The authors introduce the actual mechanism employed by NEC and explain the ideas and insight they have obtained from their experience.

Development of the system that has required performance is the most important figure and that is the key of project succeed. In order to perform that, systems engineering has come to the fore as a solution. In each step of system engineering process, particularly, requirement analysis and derivation, logical solution, architecture design step are known to affect many of the function and efficiency. Of these, this paper focus on architecture design. We introduce methodology for physical architecture design by applying DSM(Design Structure Matrix) methodology which is based on result of logical solution from MBSE methodology.

In order to determine the quality of Citrus unshiu(medium cultivar of satsuma mandarin) produced in Cheju, citrus fruits sampled at sorting places and harvested directly on citrus tree in south and north area of Cheju were analyzed. The fruits were grown in size till early of November, and soluble solids were increased continuously after that. Compared with the quality of citrus fruits as a factor of soluble solids, firmness, total sugar, pH, and color index, the optimum harvest periods were supposed to be reasonable from early of December for C. unshiu Marc. var. yonezawa and C. unshiu Marc. var. hayashi, Fruit weights and peel thickness had a linear correlation with increasing fruit size, but soluble solids and acid contents had not a correlation. The selection of C. unshiu variety was needed to determine by the properties of storage.

Quality measures play an important role in the field of image processing. Such measures are commonly used to assess the performance of different algorithms that are designed to perform a specific image processing task. In this paper we propose two novel measures for image quality assessment based on the notion of correlation between fuzzy sets. Two different definitions fur the correlation between fuzzy sets have been used. In order to calculate the proposed quality measures two approaches were evaluated, one with direct application of the measures to the image′s pixels and the other using the fuzzy set corresponding to the normalized histogram of the image. A comparative study of the proposed measures is performed by investigating their behavior using images with different types of distortions, such as impulsive "salt at pepper" noise, additive white Gaussian noise, multiplicative speckle noise, blurring, gamma distortion, and JPEG compression.

This study analyzed the structural weld strength for a door hinge for a field artillery ammunition support vehicle. In order to determine the optimal conditions, we measured the modal analysis and analyzed the leg length of a rear door hinge. From these methods, we acquired the vibration frequency of normal mode and the optimal welding leg length conditions. It was possible to obtain a structural stability for a rear door hinge of the field artillery ammunition support vehicle. In the future, this should be used as a reference source for the weld strength analysis of high vibration and high weight structures for another welding system design.

The objective of this study is to propose activation ways through an analysis on processing actual conditions and quality of farm food. For the analysis we have surveyed the actual condition of farms and conducted sensory test on farm food. Difficulties of farm business are in order to 'preparation of papers', 'facility standard', 'improvement of quality' and 'labeling'. Overall, products from major food companies achieved better results than farm foods in all sensory test. It is necessary to educate the 'Food Sanitation Act' and prepare a manual for the development of farm food.

The impact sound of the golf club is one of the major factors to purchase it. Sound qualify evaluation techniques are mostly developed for harmonic sounds. Sound quality metrics for the impact sound is proposed in this study. Jury test, one of the typical subjective evaluation scheme, is carried out for evaluating the sound quality of 11 different golf drivers. Above subjective classification results are assumed to be the right answers. Conventional objective evaluation methods such as Zwicker loudness sensory pleasantness are calculated. Wavelet analysis and instantaneous loudness are applied in order to evaluate the transient sounds, which shows better correlation with the results from those by jury test.

The demand for mobile content has been increased dramatically upon proliferation of usages of mobile devices and the development of various contents. In addition, mobile services to satisfy various desires of these users spread rapidly into our daily lives. So, companies need to grasp what values the users think most important among the mobile content services in order to develop successful goods and services. Therefore, this paper will analyze what decision factors the service quality of mobile content of theses mobile communication services has and how they influence to customer satisfaction, and it will give suggestions for improving content qualities

Many computer models have been used for estimating the water quality and evaluating countermeasures. The models such as QUAL2E, STREAM, WASP, CE-QUAL have been applied in the waters so far. Some modeller assumed either that the flow of the waters is steady or that the storage change of the waters is negligible. And someone excluded hydraulic part from the quality simulation. It may cause inaccurate estimations of water flow and quality, particularly when the waters have seawards boundary and more inflow than outflow, etc. In order to show the velocity vector for water quality simulation of Paldang lake in dynamic condition, RMA-2 was performed with the water quantity data in 1997.

While e-learners' satisfaction would be determined by qualify of e-learning environment including learning management systems, learning contents and interactions, the influence of quality on satisfaction can be changed by e-learners' self-regulated efficacy The objective of this study is to show difference of the relationship between qualify and satisfaction In e-learning by self-regulated efficacy. For this purpose, we propose a research model which consists of five quality factors in e-learning as explaining variables, satisfaction as a result variable and self-regulated efficacy as a control variable. For empirical test of this model, the sample is collected from e-learning classes in a college and divided into two groups by self-regulated efficacy in order to analyze the effects of control variable. By multi-group analysis, we show two groups are different from each other in the relationship between quality and satisfaction of e-learning environment.
