  • The nonlinear fourth order elliptic equations with jumping nonlinearity was modeled by McKenna. We investigate the trends for the researches of the existence of solutions of a fourth order semilinear elliptic boundary value problem with Dirichlet boundary Condition, ${\Delta}^2u{+}c{\Delta}u=b_1[(u+1)^{-}1]{+}b_2u^+$ in ${\Omega}$, where ${\Omega}$ is a bounded open set in $R^N$ with smooth boundary ${\partial}{\Omega}$.

  • This paper investigate the structure instability properties of the shelled space frame structure. The large structure must have thin thickness for build the large space structure there fore structure instability review is important when we do structural design. The structure instability of the shelled structure accept it sensitively by varied conditions. This come to a nonlinear problem with be concomitant large deformation. In this study, it is compared unstable behavior according to lode and boundary condition of the shelled space frame structure through numerical method which considered geometrical nonlinear and grasped influence for the instability phenomenon and investigated the fundamental collapse mechanism.

  • We consider the multiplicity of the solutions for the elliptic boundary value problem with $C^1$ nonlinear term decaying at the origin. We get a theorem which shows the existence of the nontrivial solution for the elliptic problem with $C^1$ nonlinear term decaying at the origin. We obtain this result by reducing the elliptic problem with the $C^1$ nonlinear term to the el-liptic problem with bounded nonlinear term and then approaching the variational method and using the mountain pass geometry for the reduced the elliptic problem with bounded nonlinear term.

  • This paper concerned the existence of positive solutions to the second order differential systems with strongly coupled integral boundary value conditions. By using Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem, we prove the existence of positive solutions according to the parameters under the proper nonlinear growth conditions.

  • We show the existence of a nontrivial periodic solution for the superquadratic parabolic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition and periodic condition with a superquadratic nonlinear term at infinity which have continuous derivatives. We use the critical point theory on the real Hilbert space $L_2({\Omega}{\times}(0 2{\pi}))$. We also use the variational linking theorem which is a generalization of the mountain pass theorem.

  • In this paper, we consider a doubly nonlinear parabolic equation related to the Leray-Lions operator with Dirichlet boundary condition and initial data given. By exploiting a suitable implicit time-discretization technique, we obtain the existence of global strong solution.

  • A fluid-structure-isolator interaction program was developed in this study. The behavior of liquid regions are simulated by the boundary element method, and then the technique of analyzing the free surface motion in time domain is developed by using the nonlinear free surface boundary condition(NFBC) and the condition of interface between the structure and the fluid. Structure regions are modeled by the finite element method. In order to construct the governing equation of the fluid structure interaction(FSI)problem in time domain, the finite elements for a structure and boundary elements for liquid are coupled using the equilibrium condition, the compatibility condition and NFBC. The isolator is simulated by equation proposedin 3D Basis Me. In order to verify the validity and the applicability of the developed fluid- structure -Isolator interaction program, The horizontal forced vibration analysis was performed. The applicability of the developed method is verified through the artificial seismic analysis of real size liquid storage tank.
