This study analyzed consumers' online fashion shopping site usage by site type and analyzed how product information search and product purchase differ. In addition, by comparing and analyzing preference and selection factors of PC and mobile shopping, we tried to provide basic data of effective mobile commerce operation strategy according to expansion of mobile market in fashion industry. We surveyed the use of 6 types of online sites (portal site, open market, general shopping mall, social commerce shopping mall, brand shopping mall and non-brand shopping mall) to understand the usage of mobile shopping site for consumers' fashion products. Consumer survey subjects were 373 college students in their early 20s who had the most mobile shopping experiences. The questionnaire consisted of online fashion site usage items, internet and mobile fashion shopping preference (6 items), internet and mobile shopping choice behavior (10 items), and purchase intention (3 items) .Data were analyzed using SPSS 14.0 program. The high preference of portal sites, open market, social commerce, and non-brand shopping malls in shopping online fashion products is a result of the perceptual changes of major distribution channels and the trends of consumers' value consumption tendency. Therefore, it is necessary for fashion companies to actively cope with fashion product distribution competition with huge shopping sites of current online market by well understanding consumers' preference trends and factors of online sites.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the structural properties of plain knit fabrics on the subjective perception of textures, sensibilities, and preference among consumers. This study, then, aimed to provide useful information with respect to planning and designing knitted fabrics by predicting the subjective characteristics analyzed according to their structural properties. For this purpose, we employed statistical analysis tools, such as factor and regression analysis and an adaptive-network-based fuzzy inference system(ANFIS), thereby combining the merits of fuzzy and neural networks and presupposing a non-linear relationship. Through factor analysis, we also categorized the subjective textures into 'roughness', 'softness', 'bulkiness' and 'stretch-ability' with R2=70.32%: and categorized the sensibilities into 'Stable/Neat', 'Natural/Comfortable' and 'Feminine/Elegant' with R2=68.12%. We analyzed subjective textures, sensibilities, and preference with ANFIS, assuming non-linear relationships; consequently, we were able to generate three or four fuzzy rules using wool/rayon fiber content and loop length as input data. The textures of roughness and softness exhibited a linear relationship, but other subjective characteristics demonstrated a non-linear input-output relationship. Compared with linear regression analysis, the ANFIS exhibited had higher predictive power with respect to predicting subjective characteristics.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the preference and the use of the bedclothes. The data were obtained from market research of 12 department stores which were located in Seoul, Daegu and Busan, and from questionnaires completed by 356 women in Daegu area whose age was 20 years and older. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which includes frequency, percentage, $X^2$test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test. Cotton was the most popular fiber for coverings and fillings. Color preference was in the order of pastel, non-chromatic, vivid, and white color and pattern preference was in order of floral, check, and stripe pattern. Practicality, color and fabric were the most important factors and price was the most unsatisfied factor when bedclothes were purchased. Also, information for bedclothes was obtained mainly through internet shopping, home shopping or catalog shopping.
This paper is a study on the development and consumer preference of the soup stew HMR new products, and the main contents are as follows. A total of nine products were studied, including three developed products and six market products. For this study, the demographic characteristics, the awareness and attitude of HMR products were investigated. In addition, the consumer panel evaluated overall liking, appearance, color, flavor, and taste using the nine-point recertification scale, while the strength assessed viscosity, sweetness, saltiness, sourness, and Umami. Familiarity, health degree, Purchase intention and Recommendation intention were investigated and the reasons for preference and non preference were analyzed by multi-response method. The consumer preference analysis indicates that the product is competitive among existing products and that it would be desirable to improve after identifying the causes of non-preferred factors.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of various types of functional brown rice milk porridge, which has been popular as a fast yet nutritional food, to promote rice consumption and to examine the best ratio and recipe. Each sample contained 10, 20, 30, and 40% brown rice compared to non-glutinous rice and sweet rice and were applied to mechanical and sensory tests. The moisture content of both non-glutinous rice and sweet rice porridges increased with increasing brown rice content. The viscosity of non-glutinous rice milk porridge decreased as with increasing brown rice content, whereas the viscosity of sweet rice milk porridge increased with increasing brown rice content. The pH was highest for BRT0 at 6.74 and lowest for BGT0, which is sweet rice porridge with brown rice, at 6.27. The sweetness decreased significantly for both sweet rice and non-glutinous rice porridges with the increase in brown rice content. The brightness of weet rice and non-glutinous rice porridges with brown rice increased significantly (p<0.001) with the increase in brown rice content, while the redness and yellowness of the color increased significantly (p<0.001) with increasing in brown rice content. As a result of analyzing the preference in the milk porridge containing brown rice, BRT30, which is non-glutinous rice milk porridge with brown rice, was most preferred at 5.8 in terms of color, while BRT30 was most preferred at 6.2 in terms of fragrance. All samples containing brown rice powder were highly preferred in terms of taste and the overall preference of sweet rice milk porridge was highest for BRT30 (5.8). The overall preference was highest for BGT30 at 6.1 and the preference was generally higher for the experiment groups prepared with sweet rice as opposed to those prepared with non-glutinous rice. Also, the scores for the sensory test were higher when brown rice was added. Therefore, it was concluded that the milk porridge could quickly and easily be prepared with brown rice instead of non-glutinous rice or sweet rice.
Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate extracurricular program needs according to the learning styles of dental hygiene students, and to develop and organize non-subject programs that strengthen student competencies. Methods: The subjects in this study were dental hygiene students from three colleges located in Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Ulsan, respectively. The survey tools were composed of learning style, a non-subject field, and non-subject teaching and learning methods. Lastly, 313 data points were analyzed. Results: Learning styles of subjects were as follows: assimilators, divergers, convergers, and accommodators, at 44.6%, 33.0%, 16.0%, and 6.4%, respectively. Preference of the non-subject field, according to learning style, showed that accommodators were higher than divergers on startup, and the difference was found to be statistically significant (p<0.05). Preference of non-subject teaching and learning methods, according to learning style, shows that both divergers and convergers prefer special lectures, while assimilators prefer tours, and convergers prefer experience/exercise. The results had achieved statistical significance (p<0.05). Conclusions: This study shows that dental hygiene students had different learning styles, and their learning methods varied depending on learning style. Therefore, a method should be identified to develop and run non-subject programs suitable for each learning style.
The traditional oviposition ground for indoor breeding of Luciola lateralis is moss. This study was conducted to find the most suitable alternative oviposition ground that can maintain or increase the oviposition rate of L. lateralis while addressing the problems of larva collection time and larva loss that occur when moss is used. As alternative candidate oviposition ground comprising six colors of non-woven fabric and felt were used to measure the fecundity variation rate of L. lateralis with respect to the color and material of the oviposition ground. In addition, measure the fecundity variation rate of L. lateralis in moss, a traditional oviposition ground, was also measured and investigated for comparison. The investigation showed that the average number of eggs in the non-woven fabric group was higher than that in the felt group. The yellow non-woven fabric had an average number of eggs that was more than 100 times higher than of moss used as a traditional oviposition ground. In the space where the six color non-woven fabric were together, L. lateralis concentrated its oviposition on yellow. These results showed that yellow non-woven fabric can be sufficiently used for efficient indoor mass breeding of L. lateralis while addressing problems caused by moss, a traditional oviposition ground.
This paper proposes a new referential model for data retrieval as an alternative to exact matching. While exact matching is an effective data retrieval model, it is based on fairly strict assumptions and limits our capabilities in data retrieval. This study redefines data retrieval to include non-binary data retrieval in addition to binary data retrieval, proposes Double Anchor Preference Model (DAPM), and analyzes its logical charateristics. DAPM supports non-binary data retrieval. Further, it produces the same result as exact matching for the conventional binary data retrieval. These findings show that, at the logical level, the proposed DAPM retains all the desirable features for data retrieval.
This study has two purposes: The first is to compare gifted with non-gifted about learning styles and examine differences in the preference of learning styles between group characteristics depending on gender. The second is to examine differences between gifted and non-gifted about the preference of learning styles. The participants were 152 students from the middle schools in A City. 76 students of them belonged to the gifted group and the rest were non-gifted group. LSDI Learning Styles Diagnostic Inventory has been employed as measurement tools. Besides descriptive statistics, ANOVA, ${\chi}^2$ analysis were used to measure items. The results from data analysis are as follows. First, there was difference in learning styles between gifted and non-gifted. Second, there was not difference in the preference of learning styles between groups depending on the gender. Finally, this study discussed the results and their implication, the direction of future research in understanding and interpreting of learning styles for their practical usages.

Background: The use of dental floss along with a toothbrush is a well-known oral hygiene product that effectively removes dental plaque and reduces the risk of dental caries and periodontal disease. Despite the fact that various types of floss are being used, flossing methods based on the thread type are being taught. In addition, personal preference according to the floss types has not been investigated. In this study, individual preferences according to the floss types were investigated by experiencing various types of dental floss to both floss users and non-users. In addition, the change in intention to use dental floss in the future after flossing experience of non-users was investigated. Methods: General public participated in the individual interview survey (n=419). Subjects responded to the questionnaire after using all of the thread type, Y-type, and C-type floss. All statistics were expressed frequencies and percentages for categorical variables, and the chi-squared test was used to determine the statistical significance of associations between the variables. Results: As a result of the analysis, the preference of C-type floss was highest in both floss users and non-users. The biggest reason for not using dental floss was not knowing the necessity of flossing (36.4%). In addition, both floss users and non-users responded that C-type floss was suitable for flossing in the anterior and posterior regions. The change in the positive future intention to use dental floss after flossing experience of non-users was statistically significantly associated with age. Conclusion: This result suggests that there is a need to provide education on how to use dental floss in various forms. Based on this, it will be possible to lead a change in individual's attitude for future oral health through active and continuous flossing experience.
