The Multipurpose BIPV System(MBIPVS) was evaluated as an effective passive system through analyzing the thermal performance and the efficiency of PV power generation in the previous papers. To achieve the performance better, the operation method should be determined by considering physical conditions in each occasion. Thus, we cheesed the reference operation methods in each season set by the overview of the meteorological data for last 6 years, In-choen, and compared them with the various alternatives that we had made up with for improving thermal performance. The results from adopting various alternatives on MBIPVS showed that the appropriate operational model would be effective to the energy savings ; we could reduce the total loads 1,051.0[kWh] in summer and 108.9[kWh] in winter.

The design fundamentals of the shaking tables are briefly discussed. In order to understand the recent trends in development of the shaking tables, the characteristics and performances of the major seismic testing facilities are investigated. The international standards related to the vibration tests using shaking table are also overviewed. The newly designed multipurpose biaxial shaking table of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Co., Ltd. is introduced. It has the capabilities to perform the vibration, shock and seismic qualification tests in two simultaneous and independent directions (vertical and horizontal directions). Since the shaking table adapts four extremely stiff torque instead of much more expensive hydraulic actuators, these tubes can restrain two undesired rotational motions. Regarding the manufacturing and maintenance costs, two system is more economical since it has only two hydraulic actuators unlike others.

Apartment design in residential Area is restricted by building distance limit code. Building distance limit decreases gradually to the 0.8H(height), and residential area has 250% site area ratio by building code, so site using has become efficient. In this study, examine the relationship between present building distance limit and right of daylighting environment by computer simulation. As well, high-rise residential officetel and multipurpose residential building becomes increase in commercial non-residential area. In the domestic, residential type multipurpose building made at the business area or central business area has 400∼800% site area ratio by building code. However, at a dweller's point of view, there are much lacks of environmental consideration to provide suitable daylighting environment. And, POE: Post Occupancy Evaluation is not completed yet. In this study, however, progress architectural environment prediction, basis by right of daylighting, and examine the possibility of daylighting by architectural distance limit code in residental area and by high-rise, high-density residential building in non-residental downtown area.

A virtual reality technology for multipurpose numerical simulation is developed to reproduce and investigate a variety of ocean environmental problems in a 3D-Numerical Wave Tank. The governing equations for solving incompressible fluid motion are Navier-Stokes equation and continuity equation, and the Marker-Density function technique is adopted to implement the fully-nonlinear free-surface kinematic condition. The marine environmental situations, i.e. waves, currents, wind, etc., are reproduced by use of multi-segmented wavemaker on the basis of the so-called "snake-principle". In this paper, some numerical reproduction techniques for regular and irregular waves, multi-directional waves, Bull's-eye wave, wave-current, and solitary wave are presented, and a model test in motion with large amplitude of roll angle is conducted in the developed 3D-NWT, using a overlaid grid system.

기존 병원들의 간호사 호출 시스템은 유선 방식으로 입원실과 화장실 벽면에 부착하여 도움이 필요로 할 경우 간호사를 호출한다. 하지만 유선 방식은 장치가 부착된 입원실과 화장실에서만 간호사를 호출 할 수 있다는 큰 단점을 가지고 있다. 만일 병원 내부의 간호사 호출 시스템이 없는 장소에서 환자에게 응급상황이 발생할 경우 환자는 도움을 받지 못하여 2차 사고로 이어질 수 있다. 반면 무선 방식은 환자들에게 개별적으로 장치를 지급하는 것과 잦은 분실에 의해 비용 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 스마트폰과 Beacon으로 장소의 제약 없이 보다 신속하고 정확하게 환자의 위치를 담당 간호사에게 전송하는 방식을 이용한다. 그리고 이를 기반으로 하여 기존의 간호사 호출 시스템에서 발생되는 환자 위치 사각지대를 해결한 새로운 Multipurpose Patient Support Systems(MPSS)기술을 제안한다.

Numerous lead compounds, based on multipurpose privileged structures, can be generated that address a variety of targets from a gene family of interest, irrespective of therapeutic area. Solid-phase organic synthesis has been emerged as a powerful technique in generating combinatorial libraries of small organic molecules useful for drug discovery. Heterocyclic compounds provide scaffolds on which pharmacophores can be arranged to yield potent and selective drugs and a variety of heterocycles have been synthesized on solid support. (omitted)

The purpose of this study is to predict the stability and frequency response of multipurpose vehicle. The vehicle model has seven degrees of freedom. The motion equations are derived by using Lagrangian equation and linearized. The positions of eigenvalues of model which are dominated by lateral velocity, yaw rate, roll rate of sprung mass are used to predict the stability of motion. The resonse of sprung mass to steering wheel is simulated in time domain. It is predicted that the roll response of sprung mass would rather be improved by modifying the position of eigenvalues. The responses of sprung mass to steering wheel are also simulated in frequency domain. The magnitude and phase plots of gains are evaluated in driver's steering input frequency range.
