This study is carried out to propose an empirical equation which can promptly predict the aircraft noise level at a specific point (a receptor) near Jeju international airport by using the information of the flight path data. For this purpose, Analyses of multiple linear regression with the slant distances (SD) calculated from the gate analyses of the flight path data, aircraft noise certification levels with unit of EPNL(effective perceived noise level) and noise levels measured at receptors are performed by SPSS package. From these regression analyses for approach and departure of aircraft, we can propose empirical equations which is statistically significant. The noise levels predicted by these empirical equations are highly correlated the measured data.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the analytical model of the implicit price according to objective and subjective characteristics of housing. The hedonic price regression was used for estimating the implicit price. The subjectives of this study were 1,143 dwellers who live in Seoul metropolitan area. Taejeon, and Jeonju. Satistical analyses were conducted using frequencies, percentiles, mean, and multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: 1. There was a significant difference in the implict price of the apartment between owners and renters. 2. There was a sginificant difference in the implicit price of the apartment among Seoul metropolitan area, Taejeon, and Jeonju. 3. Using a stepwise multiple regression method, the order of variables as they were entered in the model were different between tenure types (owner/renter), and regions(Seoul metroplitan area/Taejeon/Jeonju). 4. The linear model was the most appropriate noe which explained the housing price. 5. Subjective characteristics of housing in Taejeon and Jeonju had an effect on the housing price more than those in Seoul metropolitan area.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between irrational belief and psychopathology. The Korean version of Symptom Check List-90-R and Irrational Belief Test were administered to 621 high school students in group. The author used Pearson correlation coefficiency and multiple regression analysis to seek the regression patterns of the irrational belief. The results were as follows. 1) Most of the subscales of the SCL-90-R and Irrational Belief Test were correlated significantly. 2) In multiple regression analysis, the irrational belief associated with anxious overconcern was the most predictable variable for psychopathology.

This paper presents the correlation on the contamination degree and weather conditions using the multiple regression of the statistic method. The cotamination is a significant factor in the insulation system. The major factor is natural contamination, and the most is the salt. The salt contamination is occured by the weather conditions. The weather contaminations are wind, precipitation, temperature, relative humidity, etc. The effects of those are different, and the correlation is showed numerically by using the multiple regression method of the statistic method. With this, the estimation of the equivalent salt deposit density(ESDD) becomes possible by the changes of the weather conditions.

In this study, four kinds of $Si_3N_4$-based ceramic cutting tools with different sintering time were fabricated to investigate the relation among mechanical properties, grain size and tool life. They were used to turn gray cast iron at a cutting speed of 330m/min and depth of cut of 0.5mm and 1mm in dry, continuos cutting conditions. Multiple linear regression model was used to determine the relations among the mechanical property, grain size and the density. It was found that the combination of hardness and fracture toughness showed a good relation with tool life. It was also shown that hardness was the most important single element for the tool life.

There are Two new models developed for objective evaluation of fabric color patterns by applying a multiple regression analysis and an adaptive foray-rule-based system. The physical features of fabric color patterns are extracted through digital image processing and the emotional features are collected based on the psychological experiments of Soen[3, 4]. The principle physical features are hue, saturation, intensity and the texture of color patterns. The emotional features arc represented thirteen pairs of adverse adjectives. The multiple regression analyses and the adaptive fuzzy system are used as a tool to analyze the relations between physical and emotional features. As a result, both of the proposed models show competent performance for the approximation and the similar linguistic interpretation to the Soen's psychological experiments.

With the rapid development of digital media, there has been a huge change in a way of communication, a process of information diffusion and a role of traditional media. Not like mass media, social media enables users to generate and tap into the opinions of a larger world. From that reason, social media is impacting marketing strategies. However, still social media marketing researches just focus on case study, analysis of users motivation or analysis of power user's usage pattern. Word-of-mouth has always been important especially in marketing area. In social media, word-of-mouth depends on each user that's why this research focuses on individual user's activity in SNS. I defined 4 factors (produce, diffusion, network size, activity of network size enlarge) that are effect on activity and verified hypothesis by multiple regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and moderated multiple regression.

The aim of this paper is to evaluate users benefit values of theme park using Travel Cost Method with special reference to Woobang Tower Land in Taegu for the estimation of economic values. This research is mainly based on questionnaire survey of 100 users of the theme park. Socio-economic factors such as income, year of education, annual income, age and money(travel cost) are analysed from 5 residential areas of the respondents. Multiple regression analysis was used for the evaluation of annual number of park visitings based on the analysis. The regression model shows NV = $\alpha$+$\beta_1$TC+$\beta_2$INC+$\beta_3$EDU+$\beta_4$AGE (NV : Annual Number of Visitings, TC : Travel Cost, INC : Annual Income, EDU : Years of Education, AGE : Age). Regarding to visitors demand curve based on the equation showed that annual economic values of Woobang Tower Land was estimated as 50billion Korean Won.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of sleep quality and its associated factors in adults. Methods: The data was collected from 986 adults aged 19 to 64 by convenience sampling. Subjects completed a questionnaire composed of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Beck Depression Inventory, and other questions that self-rated health and sociodemographic variables. Statistical methods used included descriptive statistics, simple logistic regression, and multiple logistic regression analyses. Results: The global PSQI score was 5.7. About 45% of the subjects were poor sleepers (global PSQI score >5). Multiple logistic regression analyses showed that factors significantly associated with sleep quality were depression and poor self-rated health in young and middle-aged adults. Depression was the most significant associated factor. The presence of a spouse was also associated with sleep quality in young adults. Conclusion: These findings suggest that people with poor sleep quality should have their health carefully screened for depression. In addition, we recommend the development of a nursing program for improving sleep quality.

In this work a new correlation has been made to predict the solar radiation for 16 different areas over Korea by estimating the regression coefficients taking into account cloud hours of bright sunshine. Particularly, the multiple linear regression model proposed shows reliable results for estimating the global radiation on a horizontal surface with monthly average deviation of -0.26 to +0.53% and each station annual average deviation of -1.61 to +1.7% from measured values.
