고정자 전류와 자속의 오차를 이용한 벡터제어 유도전동기의 회전자 시정수 보상 (Rotor Time Constant Compensation of Vector Controlled Induction Motor Using Stator Current and Flux Error)

  • It is proposed that the rotor time constant and inductance are compensated at the same time in the indirect vector control method of an induction motor. The proposed scheme compensates the rotor time constant using the difference between the Q-axis real stator current and estimated current that is calculated from the terminal voltage and current, and compensates inductance by using the difference between the D-axis real stator flux and estimated stator flux in the synchronous rotating reference frame. Although the rotor time constant and inductance vary at once, the proposed method compensates the rotor time constant and inductance with accuracy. In addition to, two variables can be compensated not only at the steady state condition, but also at the transient state, where the torque varies in a rectangular pulse waveform. Therefore, the performance of vector control is greatly improved as verified by experiment.

  • This paper describes the accurate inductance measurement of a switched reluctance motor (SRM). Conventionally, the inductance of the SRM is measured using the equivalent circuit of a stator phase or time constant of exponential current transient. This paper presents an effective method to measure the SRM inductance accurately and rapidly using automated voltage integration. The proposed method is validated experimentally by comparison with the existing equivalent circuit method (ECM) and the FEA(finite element analysis) simulation.

  • This paper proposes a calculating method of resistance and inductance of end ring of squirrel cage induction motor for 2D finite element analysis. The squirrel cage of induction motor consists of bars and end rings. The resistance and inductance of end ring have an effect on the result of the finite element calaculation. If the end ring were excluded from the analysis, the good result could not be obtained. Therefore, we first simulate an axisymmetric magnetodynamic analysis for the end ring, and then calculate the interbar resistance and the end ring inductance. The calculated values are put into the external circuit of 2D finite element model of the induction motor. The proposed method is verified by comparing the numerical results with the experimental ones.

  • The accurate identification of the motor parameters in crucially important to achieve high dynamic performance of induction motors. In this paper parameter auto-tuning algorithms for stator(rotor) resistance stator(rotor) leakage inductance mutual inductance and rotor inertia. Stator(rotor) resistance and stator(rotor) leakage inductance are identified based on the stationary coordinate and mutual inductance and rotor resistor on the scalar speed control and the transient motor terminal voltage. To demonstrate the practical significance of our results we present some experimented results.

  • When the characteristics of a linear induction motor (LIM) are analyzed using finite element analysis (FEA), it is desirable to set the voltage source as an input. If the voltage source is set as an input in FEA, the leakage inductance and primary resistance of the equivalent circuit must be entered by direct calculation, and the magnetizing inductance and secondary reaction effects are directly considered in FEA. Exact calculation is necessary because the primary winding resistance and leakage inductance directly entered will have a significant effect on the LIM output. Therefore, in this study, we accurately calculated the primary leakage inductance and analyzed the resulting LIM characteristics. We calculated the leakage inductance using an analytical equation and FEA, and we confirmed the accuracy by comparing the results with the value experimentally calculated using a manufactured model. We also analyzed the instrument performance and thrust of the LIM as a function of the difference in the leakage inductance. Finally, we present the conclusions on the precise analysis based on the calculation of the leakage inductance.

  • 본 논문에서는 유도 전동기의 회전자 자속 기준 벡터 제어시 약계자 영역에서의 성능 향상을 위한 유도 전동기 인덕턴스 성분들의 변동에 대한 새로운 온라인 추정 방법을 제시한다. 역기전력을 적분하여 얻는 고정자 자속과 고정자 전류를 이용하여 고정자 과도 인덕턴스와 고정자 자기 인덕턴스를 추정하며, 추정된 고정자 자기 인덕턴스 값에서 자화 인덕턴스를 추정하고, 추정된 고정자과도 인덕턴스 값에서 회전자 누설 인덕턴스를 추정한다. 온라인 동조를 위해 비례 적분 제어기를 사용한다. 제안한 방법으로 시뮬레이션과 실험을 수행하여 제안한 방법의 효과와 타당성을 증명한다.

  • The phase inductance of a switch reluctance motor (SRM) is significantly nonlinear. With different saturation conditions, the phase inductance shape is clearly changed. This study focuses on the relationship between coefficient and current in an inductance model with ignored harmonics above the order of 3. A position estimation method based on the variable coefficient inductance model is proposed in this paper. A four-quadrant sensorless control system of the SRM drive is constructed based on the relationship between variable coefficient inductance and rotor position. The proposed algorithms are implemented in an experimental SRM test setup. Experimental results show that the proposed method estimates position accurately in operating two/four-quadrants. The entire system also has good static and dynamic performance.

  • In this paper proposes a very simple method to estimate the rotor position of a switched reluctance motor. By on-line estimating the self-inductance of the motor, the rotor position of the SR motor is obtained, and a closed-loop drive system can be achieved. Proposed methods can easy implement to application with sensorless SR motor drive system. Speed 2000rpm SR motor simulation executed with self inductance estimation and result represented. Simulation result verified the rotor position using the proposed self-inductance estimation method.

  • A sensorless control scheme for the switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive at speed control is presented in this paper. In this paper proposes a very simple method to estimate the rotor position of a switched reluctance motor.   • This paper improves the calculating method about the inductance with the high order frequency coreloss. It is different in which the analyzed inductance for calculating IPMSM and the measured thing for experiment. Due to this phenomenon, the expected input voltage differs from the inquired input voltage for operating the motor. This results from the coreloss margin which have both the 1st order and high order frequency value. For reducing the inductance error, after calculating the equivalence coreloss resistance with having the 1st order frequency Back_EMF and coreloss, designing the inductance with the high order frequency which occurred by the coreloss of high order frequency, and comparing the renovated inductance analysis value with the measured thing.
