Purpose: This study is aimed at life adaptation process of women with the spinal cord injury. Method: The subjects were 6 women in Kyeonggi and they had interview individually. The study was conducted during June to November in 2009 and developed substantial theory in women's life adaptation process by applying ground research methodology. Result: Motivation for such a change was their psychological pain, which is the central phenomenon. Social activities sustained them during such a process, while social support and experience of achievement acted as an intervention condition. During the initial period, they had a vague expectation that the condition of their accidental spinal cord injury would be improved. Then the expectation had failed, they experienced psychological pain, finding out the reality about the disabled and social difficulties awaiting them. Since then they began to love themselves, pursuing a changed life of hope, achievement and serving. Conclusion: Its result is expected to serve as a basic data for rehabilitation nursing, so that they may conduct independent lives, with a love toward themselves. Repetitive research would be necessary concerning the adaptation process of women in order for the criteria presented to become richer, and for the relations among the criteria to become more refined.
Purpose - Stakeholders play a vital part in the company's CSR activities and they are part of the company's achievement and affect the company's achievement or business objectives. This study aims to add insight into the already existing knowledge how the organizational culture can promote corporate social welfare activities. Research design, Data, and methodology - The current authors obtained text data for the possible practical suggestions which might be used for the creation of coding method. That implies that the present author investigated only trustable textual sources to provide for the possible solutions such as peer-revied sources and published book. Result - Research results indicated that organizational culture promotes corporate social welfare activities by making people know their values and understand how they come about. Not every community knows what its members want and how to achieve its needs. Sometimes, a community can obtain the values and principles of an organization and incorporate them into community values. Conclusion - Executive leadership and customers are part of society. Any strategy that influences their operation and works ethic influences the contact of the community. The recent entry into information society as well as the development and universalization of the Internet through rapid development of ICT technology produced a new educational method called PMP learning. PMP learning overcomes restrictions of previous education methods in terms of time and space and allows the learners to customize their learning environments according to their leads, providing voluntary education that centers on the learners. This study aims to verify the causal relationship in academic achievement of PMP learners through the theory of basic psychological desire, learning satisfaction, and learning metastasis. In order to accomplish this, a study model which applies perceived autonomy, perceived competence, and perceived relationship, which are major variables of the theory of basic psychological desire, was presented. For practical verification of the study model, survey analysis was conducted for students of R High School in Hamyang. Through this, the study aims to provide basic materials for improving the academic achievement of learners in PMP learning. It also plans to suggest educational effects that can be obtained by supporting intrinsic motivation of learners.
Purpose: By analyzing what kind of organizational reaction is shown by employees to corporate social responsibility (CSR), I want to propose a plan to maximize achievement(organizational commitment and productive behavior) within corporation. Methods: Regression analysis is used to analyze relationship between CSR awareness and achievement within corporation. Then structural equation model is used to check control effect of corporate member's participation in CSR. Results: It is proved that employee's CSR awareness has positive relationship with organizational commitment and productive behavior. It is shown that when employees have participated in CSR programs directly, effectiveness of relationship was especially higher for Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and innovative behavior. Conclusion: In order to increase organizational commitment and productive behavior of employees, corporation's social responsibility management, in other words ethical management must be used so their motivation can be increased and so they can directly participate in CSR programs which will increase effectiveness of organization.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the experience of urinary incontinence (UI) for elderly Korean women using a narrative approach. Methods: The data were collected using individual in-depth interviews with 15 communitydwelling elderly women who had UI for at least 1 yr. The narratives of the life stories of these women were analyzed from the actor’s perspective, motivation and purpose of actions, and action toward goal achievement. Also the narratives on UI were analyzed according to cognition, behavior, and evaluation of UI. Results: Three major types of the life stories emerged from the analysis. First, the conquest narrative type reflects active characteristics of narrators within the circumstances of the sociocultural context. Second, the patience narrative is characterized as having flexibility between self determination for goal achievement and the boundary of the sociocultural context. Lastly, the compliance narrative reflected characteristics of narrators who easily adapt their way of life to circumstances. In terms of UI, the narrators in all three types lacked awareness of UI as an illness condition. Three different reasons are specifically identified according to the narrative types. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the concept and the illness behaviors related to UI in elderly Korean women with UI were closely related to the way of women's lives within the sociocultural and historical context.
This study was designed to construct and test a structural equation model for related factors that affect to self-regulated learning in nursing students. The nursing students was asked to complete a questionnaire, and 273 data units were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling. The hypothetical model fit indices for the model revealed a fit at a recommended level, and 5 of the 6 paths were statistically significant explaining 68% of the variance. Therefore, education that improves self-determination, interpersonal competence and achievement goal orientation will promote self-regulated learning of nursing students. Competence programs to build the self-autonomy and relationships should be developed.
This study analyzed the substitute behavior of mothers of infants or elementary-school-aged children in terms of consumption. For this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with women residing in the Seoul metropolitan area who show significant interest in their children. The interviews were analyzed based on the grounded theory. The findings of this study are as follows. First, mothers show substitute behavior for their children's appearance. The younger the children, the more substitute consumption exhibited by mothers. As children grow older and are able to choose what to wear, mothers show less substitute behavior tendencies regarding appearance management. Second, mothers tend to exhibit substitute behavior regarding their children's academic achievements. Mothers hope their children will be more successful than themselves were or will achieve the dreams that they failed to accomplish, which drives substitute behavior. Mothers affectionately provide children with financial support so they can obtain academic achievement and they hope their children will have successful occupations in the future. Third, mothers who are not satisfied with their appearance and have low self-esteem are more likely to exhibit substitute behavior with their children. This study will be helpful in understanding mothers' motivation and psychological factors regarding the support of their children.

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of applying big data analysis to provide appropriate feedback to students using evaluation data in science education at a time when interest in educational data mining has recently increased in education. In this study, we use the evaluation data of 2,576 students who took 24 questions of the national assessment of educational achievement. And we use K-means cluster analysis as a method of unsupervised machine learning for clustering. As a result of clustering, students were divided into six clusters. The middle-ranking students are divided into various clusters when compared to upper or lower ranks. According to the results of the cluster analysis, the most important factor influencing clusterization is academic achievement, and each cluster shows different characteristics in terms of content domains, subject competencies, and affective characteristics. Learning motivation is important among the affective domains in the lower-ranking achievement cluster, and scientific inquiry and problem-solving competency, as well as scientific communication competency have a major influence in terms of subject competencies. In the content domain, achievement of motion and energy and matter are important factors to distinguish the characteristics of the cluster. As a result, we can provide students with customized feedback for learning based on the characteristics of each cluster. We discuss implications of these results for science education, such as the possibility of using this study results, balanced learning by content domains, enhancement of subject competency, and improvement of scientific attitude.

In this study, the effects of grouping by communication apprehension level in cooperative learning strategy applied to general science class and the difference between high and low communication apprehension levels were investigated. Three classes (N=112) were randomly assigned to two cooperative and one traditional learning groups. Students in two cooperative learning classes were grouped into homogeneous and heterogeneous groups with respect to their communication apprehension levels based on the test score of students' communication apprehension. After the instructions concerning the matter for 11 class hours, achievement, self-esteem, motivation to learn science. and student's perception to lack about communication ability and expectation about receiving help in cooperative learning processes were examined. Two-way ANOVA results revealed that there were no main and interactive effects in the scores of the achievement test. However, significant main effect of the treatment was found in the scores of the relevance and the satisfaction among four motivation sub-categories. In post-hoc comparison, the scores of the heterogeneous group were found to be significantly higher than those of the control group. For expectation about receiving help in cooperative learning processes, the scores of the heterogeneous group were significantly higher than those of the homogeneous group. Students in high communication apprehension level had significantly lower self-esteem and more perception to lack about communication ability than students in low level.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the middle school students' perception and their learning satisfaction in SMART learning based science instruction. Three types of modules on the solar system and lunar phases unit at the middle school level were developed and lessons on each module were taught to 207 student participants. All participants were provided with tabletPC(iPad2) with iOS5 installed, and using astronomy app Solar Walk, mirroring function, QR code, and Google Presentation, the lessons were carried out both in classroom and at home. The instrument for assessing students' perception on the SMART learning-based instruction was developed based on 4 factors including Self-directed, Motivation, Adaptiveness, and Technology Embedded, with a Likert scale from 1-5 on 20 items. The learning satisfaction survey instrument was originally from Keller's work (1987), and its test items were adapted and modified. To reveal the perception and learning satisfaction about SMART learning-based science lessons, the participants were comparatively analyzed by gender and science achievement levels. Results indicated that male students showed positive perception for the SMART learning-based instruction. Group with higher science achievement scores showed more positive perception of the SMART learning-based instruction in terms of Self-directed and Motivation factor. Also, the learning satisfaction of male students was higher than female students and group with higher academic ability more satisfied with the SMART learning-based instruction than the low group. The results provide implications for future development of programs and help set a direction of increasing the use of a SMART learning-based science in school.
