건물일체형 Cold Facade PV 시스템의 성능 분석 (Analysis of Performance of Building Integrated PV System into Cold Facade)

  • This paper presents the assesment of experimented data and estimated data for electrical and thermal performance evaluation of building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) system of cold facade type. BIPV module is used to estimate the dependence of module temperature on irradiance, ambient temperature and indoor temperature. The module temperature of no free ventilated facade PV system is higher than cold facade PV system about 13.4$^{\circ}C$. By the results on simulation, the reduction of electrical power loss is 9.57% into cold facade according to free ventilation. The annual averaged PR of BIPV system into cold facade is about 73.1%.

  • This paper is proposed cooling system of BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic) by micro-controller. The output power of PV generation system is not systematically tracked and influenced by various factors; solar irradiance, solar cell temperature. The temperature of solar module should be minimized to increase electrical output. Therefore, it is proposed that micro-controller cools to decrease temperature of solar module using thermoelement. The validity of this paper is proved by comparing solar module temperature of cooling system and un-cooling system.

  • Air flow of inside automobile HVAC module has been visualized using a high-resolution PIV technique with varying the temperature operation mode. The PIV system consists of a 2-head Nd:YAG laser(125 mJ), a high-resolution CCD camera(2K x 2K), optics and a synchronizer. A real automobile HVAC module was used directly with slight modification for clear optical windows. Some parts of the HVAC module casing were replaced with transparent windows for capturing flow images with laser light sheet beam illumination. Time-averaged velocity field were measured in three temperature control modes. Flow characteristics of the air-conditioned air flow in the automobile HVAC system were evaluated.

  • It is well known that the efficiency of photovoltaic modules decreases with an increase of temperature. In this paper, both efficiency and maximum power(Pm) variation with temperature are investigated using numerical simulation. Various carrier transport mechanisms and several recombination parameters of all the cell materials are taken into account. The theoretical result are compared with the reference data and they are shown to agree quite well over a wide range of temperatures.

  • In this paper, we manufactured high flux LED module with Through Hole type. and we measured electrical, optical and thermal properties by driving type. LED module was composed with 8*8 arrangement form by using the glass epoxy PCB. Also, we measured the most suitable driving type with static voltage driving type and static current driving type. As a result, the LED Module of static voltage driving type showed high luminance characteristic than the static current driving type by suppling enough bias. However, the static current driving type showed more stable driving properties because of fast decreasing properties about brightness by increasing the surrounding temperature in the static voltage driving type. Also, due to Quantum confined Stark effect from piezoelectric field, the wavelength of bule peak shifted to long wavelength direction by increasing the surrounding temperature in the static voltage driving type.

  • 이 연구는 열하중이 발생하는 구조물에 강판 콘크리트구조를 적용하는 경우, 역학적 특성을 평가하기 위하여 수행하였다. 원자력발전소 구조물 중 사용후 핵연료 저장조 구조물과 같이, 구조물 내부는 지속적인 열 하중을 받고 구조물 외부는 대기에 노출되어 있는 경우, 구조물은내 외부의 온도차이로 인해서 열응력이 발생한다. 본 연구는 이러한 구조물에 강판 콘크리트 구조를 적용할 경우를 가정하여 보 형태의 강판 콘크리트 구조실험체에 온도하중을 재하한 상태에서 휨 내력 및 구조특성을 평가하고 추가적으로 실험체가 항복 시까지 하중을 가력하여 최종 휨내력을 평가하였다.

  • According to the advance that solar power plants go into the desert, power plants are getting greater capacity. The desert is unspoiled resources and it is well suited to build a solar power plant, because of abundant solar radiation and long sunshine duration. but existing PV modules have several weaknesses and don't generate lower the rated power, because it wasn't designed to produce in extreme environments like a desert climate. The one of the weaknesses of PV modules is that the characteristics of the temperature of the Encapsulants(EVA sheet) are not good in a desert climate, because the EVA sheet is melt at high temperature. In this study, a decrease phenomenon of the transmittance depending on the melting point of the Encapsulant(PV module using EVA sheet : $75^{\circ}C$ PV module using PVB film : $110^{\circ}C$) is suggested, it would be the one of the important factors to achieve rated output of the PV modules in high temperature climate regions.

  • Solar, as an ideal renewable energy, it has inexhaustible, clean and safe characteristics. In order to improve the photovoltaic system efficiency and utilize the solar energy more fully, and the DC current and DC power vary with the irradiation and module temperature, it is necessary to study the characteristics of photovoltaic I-V and P-V according to the external factors. This paper presents the analysis of characteristics of photovoltaic I-V and P-V according to the irradiation and the module temperature. The results show that the DC current and the DC power of the photovoltaic system are increased along with the increasing values of irradiation.

  • Photovoltaic modules are well known to be one of the most eco generation of electricity. But usually study solar cell. Otherwise, PV modules are also important in power generation. We have to check other subsidiary materials. In this work benefit of using optically superior encapsulation materials(EVA) in generation temperature is demonstrated. Optical characterization of three EVA products demonstrates reduced transmission in the visible ray region of the solar spectrum. It will have a decisive effect to the module efficiency. Test is shown reduction of reflectance and transmittance. Reflections is dependent on the low iron glass. It can be seen between a specific wave length(240~350mm) about 1%. Transmittance in the entire ray region of light is markedly reduced to depending on the temperature rise. The graph is shown optical properties on EVA. Transmission was reduced. about 1%.

  • Normally, PV system is designed using local weather condition like lowest and highest temperature and irradiance. But this might give misleading results because it is not realistic data of PV module itself. To give more specific description of PV system, we tested photovoltaic(PV) modules' temperature, irradiance and maximum power generation characteristics from January to December in 2008 for 3kW PV system. From this, we could deeply analyze the accumulation temperature, electrical characteristics of PV module in various condition. So precise approach to PV system design can be done. The detail description is specified as the following paper.
