  • Next-generation displays should be transparent and flexible as well as having high resolution and frame number. The main factor for active matrix organic light emitting diode and next-generation displays is the development of TFTs (thin-film transistors) with high mobility and large area uniformity. The TFTs used for transparent displays are mainly oxide TFT that has oxide semiconductor as channel layer. Zinc-oxide based substances such as indium-gallium-zinc-oxide has attracted attention in the display industry. In this paper, the mobility improvement of low cost oxide TFT is studied for fast operating next-generation displays by overcoming disadvantages of amorphous silicon TFT that has low mobility and poly silicon TFT that requires expensive equipment for complex process and doping process.

  • Recently, personal mobility has been spreading and using increasing, but the pedestrian environment is getting worse and accidents are also rapidly increasing. Therefore, this study conducts a status survey related to the elements of pedestrian disturbances in personal mobility and identifies the problems. The following measures are presented to improve the pedestrian environment for the mobility handicapped through expert opinion surveys. The movement of individual mobility means in the walking space is prohibited, and the speed limit shall be stipulated to enable the mobility handicapped to walk safely and conveniently. Parking spaces will have to create obstacle zones in the parking area next to the roadway or at the border of sidewalks and roads, and regulations are needed to collect illegally parked vehicles. It is necessary to switch from the existing automobile-oriented road to the road structure considering the use of low and medium-speed vehicles.

  • The purpose of the study was to identify the level of housing choice behavior by using the factors of residential satisfaction level, mobility motivation, and housing needs of potential purchasers in Bukgu New Housing Area, Ulsan. The survey used questionnaire from 326 households living in Bukgu and nearby area and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research results showed low degree of residential satisfaction in storage space and neighborhood. The mobility motivations were improvement of physical environment improvement, education environment, walking road, view and lighting. The housing needs for indoor spaces showed to want more functional arrangement than the room size. The housing needs for outdoor spaces showed to want neighborhood environment in connection with the education or hospital facilities, the welfare facilities for pre-kindergarten children and elders and the leisure facilities. And the housing needs for facilities were floor furnishing for health, crime prevention system for safety needs, housekeeping appliance against environmental pollution, additional function for energy saving. The housing needs for common spaces showed that the residents preferred playing facilities by age group, exercise facilities, the community hall and the rest room which can do games or meetings.

  • The binding update of the Mobile IPv6 which does a route optimization in basic by the node which moves frequently brings about the signaling traffic increase of binding update. It supplements this the MAP(Mobile Anchor Point) for to let, and Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 which considers a macro mobility and a micro rambling regional mobility was proposed. But Mobile IPv6 when transmitting the packet, always does to pass by the mP, the packet intensive actual condition of the MAP to occur it does not guarantee a route optimization. In this study, It accomplishes the course improvement which considers the mobility of mobile node and it interprets the relaxation quality of packet intensive actual condition with the MAP

  • This paper analyzes problems of existing Mobile IP and redesigns component functions, and proposes handover method using LRS and BCS for handover performance improvement. When mobile node moves another domain, the proposed BCS recognizes its mobility. So, BCS manages mobile node's binding information and serves micro mobility. When handover occurs among domains, micro mobility enables using LRS, As BCS and LRS have buffering function, they can reduce packet loss by forwarding the buffered datagram. It's designed component is implemented in LINUX environment. And then, handover performance was evaluated by simulation. The results of proposed handover method are better than existing method in both transmission delay time and packet loss.

  • Objective To investigate the effect of treadmill training with eyes open (TEO) and closed (TEC) on the knee joint position sense (JPS), functional balance and mobility in children with spastic diplegia. Methods Forty-five children with spastic diplegia aged 11-13 years participated in this study. They were randomly assigned to three groups of equal number. The control group (CON) underwent designed physical therapy program whereas, the study groups (TEO and TEC) underwent the same program, in addition to treadmill gait training with eyes open and closed, respectively. Outcome measures were the degree of knee joint position error, functional balance and mobility. Measurements were taken before and after 12 weeks of intervention. Results After training, the three groups showed statistically significant improvement in all measured outcomes, compared to the baseline with non-significant change in the knee JPS in the CON group. When comparing posttreatment results, the TEC group showed greater significant improvement in all measured outcomes, than the TEO and CON groups. Conclusion Treadmill training with eyes open and closed is effective in rehabilitation of children with diplegia, but blocked vision treadmill training has more beneficial effect.

  • In Currently, OTFTS are actively studied around the world because they are expected to create new novel applications, which can not be implemented by the conventional Si semiconductor, due to the unique characteristics of organic materials. In this paper, the hole field effect mobility has been improved to the level of a-Si TFTs with 0.3cm2/V.sec, simply applying the surface treatment process on the gate with organic molecules. In addition, the model has been suggested and the temperature dependence of hole mobility analyzed.

  • Bright light-emitting single crystal organic field-effect transistors (FETs) based on highly luminescent oligo(p-phenylenevinylene) (OPV) derivatives are demonstrated. Although OPV single crystal FETs show both p - and n - type FET operation, we found that an increase in the conjugation length of the OPV derivatives from three phenylene rings to five phenylene rings results in an improvement in the electron mobility by an order of magnitude, while retaining the high hole mobility with intense electroluminescence.

  • A mobile IP is proposed to support host mobility over the current Internet. One of the most important issues on the host mobility is location and routing schemes that allow mobile hosts to move effectively from one site to another. In a Mobile IP environment, frequent handoffs are likely to degrade the performance by minimizing the loss of datagrams during handoffs. The handoff scheme is using routing optimization and binding extension to improve the performance by minimizing the average transfer delay of messages and packet loss. Simulation details show the improvement of transport delays and packet loss rate.
