  • This paper presents the implementation of an efficient car tracking system based on Inverted DGPS (IDGPS) using mobile phone and internet for data communication link. The IDGPS technique, which may provide the same level of accuracy as DGPS, is subject to degradation in real time applications when transmission time delays occur in the communication links. Therefore, an effective communication system is the key element for successful application of the IDGPS. The combination of internet and mobile phones provides a high data rate, unlimited communication packet size, flexible data structure, and wide coverage without additional communication devices. An implementation of such a data link system is described. Field test results are included to evaluate the performance of the proposed system.

  • This paper describes the system that enables users to control the home electronic equipment using mobile phone. The home network industry is setting in network period that grow rapidly and get many interests. And, it is real condition that hailing of existed system is rising too. This paper developed system to make use of mobile phone regarding this and control boiler temperature in home to remote. This paper that serve this used skill of mobile programming, mobile Brew, RF radio communication, etc. for communication with server in an experiment. This paper presented another method that use RF radio communication and mobile device in home automation construction. The result of this paper will be expected to be able to contribute little in development of home network industry.

  • Established CRM system provides a powerful help for maintaining existing client, attracting new client, making profit from client or mobile communication industry. In the system structure of CRM eye, the mobile communication industry of CRM can be divided into three levels. : channel layer; operation layer, analysis layer. The data mining of CRM in mobile communication industry fall into six stages. Finally article gives some CRM's examples to illustrate how to gain client, enhance client's value, and how to maintain existing client.

Design and Implementation of HL 7-based Real-time Data Communication for Mobile Clinical Information System

  • The main obstacles for adopting a mobile health information system to existing hospital information system are the redundancy of clinical data and the additional workload for implementing the new system. To obtain a seamless communication and to reduce the workload of implementation, an easy and simple implementation strategy is required. We propose a mobile clinical information system (MobileMed) which is specially designed for the easy implementation. The key elements of MobileMed are a smart interface, an HL7 message server, a central clinical database (CCDB), and a web server. The smart interface module transfers the key information to the HL7 message server as new clinical tests data is recorded in the existing laboratory information system. The HL7 message server generates the HL7 messages and sends them to the CCDS. As a central database the CCDS collects the HL7 messages and presents them to the various mobile devices such as PDA. Through this study we might conclude that the architecture for the mobile system will be efficient for real-time data communication, and the specially designed interface will be an easy tool for implementing the mobile clinical information system.

  • In this paper presents the WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) system using the rake receiver over multipath fading and wireless mobile communication environments. The interference between the propagation paths in a multipath fading causes a serious degradation in the wireless mobile communication environments. In order to derive the path interference and reduce the fading effect the rake receiver is used. As a result, the WCDMA system using the rake receiver gives a better performance than the convention WCDMA system over a multipath fading and wireless mobile communication environments.

  • In this paper, we present a comparison between QCELP(Qualcomm Code Excited Linear Predictor) speech coder that is operating in digital mobile communication system and CS-ACELP(Conjugate Structure Algebraic Code Excited Linear Prediction) speech coder that is scheduled to use for IMT-2000 (International Mobile Telecommunications 2000) system. The performance comparison might give help to design of the speech coding algorithms so that the robustness of the algorithms to channel errors engaged by mobile communication system be optimized.

  • Recently, the voice service over a mobile communication system tends to be provided based on the packet-based technology. Even though the sufficient transmission rate is supported by LTE mobile communication system, the quality of VoIP service that is experienced by the user can be degraded by the change in the transmission conditions and the terminal mobility. This paper has established an environment on which experiments are conducted for the different values of the major parameters that represent the transmission conditions. The result can contribute to the decision of the requirement that the mobile system should meet for maintaining the quality of VoIP service.

  • Performance requirements of a system are usually closely related to the quality of service provided by the system. The call success rate of a mobile communication system is, for example, directly linked with the quality of call service. Therefore, meeting the performance requirements is one of the critical issues during the operation of services as well as in system development. In this paper, we present a testing method for evaluating the call success rate of a mobile communication system by using interval estimation. Also we analyze the criterion used in the evaluation of the quality of 3G mobile communication services which was recently performed by Korea Communications Commission and then discuss the problems.

  • Jini architecture's Network Plug and Work provides simple and flexible network environment for distributed applications. Through the Jini technology, facilities for dynamically registering and locating mobile agent services can be easily supported, as well as the services useful for activities of mobile agents can be dynamically supported. In this paper, we describe a Jini-based mobile agent system named JMoblet, which provides the basic functions of a mobile agent system such as creation, control, transfer, location and communication among agents. To increase the reliability of the system, it also provides exception handling and persistence of the mobile agent systems for reliability.

  • As the number of mobile telephone users increases, technologies fur increasing quality of services between a mobile terminal and the base station transceiver system become more important than ever. The important criteria of quality of service includes minimum interference of base station, the success rate of network access and portability between different mobile companies. Among many factors, the successful rate of network connection between a mobile terminal and the base station is the most important. In this paper, we introduce an analysis system of mobile terminals using RS-232C communication after considering such environments. This application software simulates the communicational signals between and mobile terminals and the base station and shows the results through the graphs. Using this system, the task about testing communication performance of mobile terminals will be easy since it helps to analyze the status of communication.
