기업가적 리더십이 조직 구성원의 창의성에 미치는 영향: 혁신 분위기의 조절효과 및 심리적 임파워먼트의 매개효과 (The Impact of Entrepreneurial Leadership on Individual Creativity: Moderating Role of Innovation Climate and Mediating Role of Psychological Empowerment)

  • 기존 연구에서는 꾸준히 조직 구성원의 창의성을 향상하는데 있어 리더십이 매우 중요한 역할을 한다는 점을 강조해왔다. 수많은 연구가 리더십과 창의성의 관계를 언급하고 있지만 벤처창업의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 기업가적 리더십에 관해서는 여전히 연구가 부족한 편이다. 이를 감안, 본 연구는 조직 내 혁신 분위기의 조절효과 및 구성원의 심리적 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 토대로 기업가적 리더십과 구성원의 창의성 간의 인과관계를 분석하였다. 국내 중소·벤처기업에 근무하는 161명의 구성원을 대상으로 설문을 진행, 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구성원의 심리적 임파워먼트는 리더의 기업가적 리더십과 구성원의 창의성 간의 관계를 긍정적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 구성원의 심리적 임파워먼트에 미치는 리더의 기업가적 리더십의 효과는 조직의 혁신 분위기가 높을 때 더욱 강하게 발휘되는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 조직 내 혁신 분위기는 리더의 기업가적 리더십과 구성원의 심리적 임파워먼트의 관계를 긍정적으로 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 창의적인 벤처기업을 육성하기 위해 리더의 기업가적 리더십과 구성원의 창의성 간의 관계에 대한 포괄적인 시사점을 제공해 주었다. 본 연구 결과는 기존 벤처창업, 리더십, 창의성 연구 영역에 중요한 학문적인 시사점을 제안했으며 후속 연구는 좀 더 다양한 관점에서 창의성을 강화할 수 있는 혁신과 관련된 맥락을 조절 및 매개변수의 관점에서 분석해야 할 것이다. 특히, 후속 연구는 산업 및 기업의 유형을 더 다양하게 포괄하는 연구를 진행, 본 연구 결과의 일반화에 필요한 교훈을 제시해야 한다.

The Effects of Career Orientations on Entrepreneurial Satisfaction and Business Sustainability

  • This study empirically analyzes how the career orientation factors of startup entrepreneurs affect entrepreneurial satisfaction as well as business sustainability. We propose directions for startup sustainability and development. Based on previous research, we defined the career orientation of entrepreneurs through the five orientation factors of security, autonomy, technical competence, managerial competence, and entrepreneurial creativity. We constructed a research model to determine whether these factors have a causal relationship with entrepreneurial satisfaction or business sustainability through the medium of organizational entrepreneurship. We surveyed startups in Korea using a questionnaire and collected and analyzed a total of 282 points of survey data. The analysis results demonstrated that the entrepreneurial creativity and managerial competence of the members of a startup can play an important role within entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability. Both autonomy and technical competence exhibited no effect on entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability through the medium of entrepreneurship, while security showed a negative effect. In order to improve entrepreneurial satisfaction and achieve business sustainability, we confirmed that it was more important for startups to consider the creativity and business management competences of entrepreneurs rather than pursue business security or have a technology-oriented attitude.

  • In the present context of systemic global crisis, this paper focuses on a sustainable society. Throughout the World there are vast members of the unemployes. A secure job lasting a lifetime has become more and more rare. Nowadays majority of jobs are part-time or temporary. $Andr{\acute{e}}$ Gorz found a solution in a policy of the progessive reduction in labor time. This is the potential which automated production opens up for a culture society. Nevertheless, Gorz's proposal is based on utopion ideals. This paper focuses on a dynamic force for a culture society, especially art, learning and the third sector. Adrienne Goehler underlines that a culture in the broad sense of the word produces economical and social productivity. In this connection Goehler give attention to 'Cultrual Creatives' and the Creative Class. Cultural creatives are comprised of people who have participated in the process of creating a new culture with enlightened creativity. The Creative Class is a class of workers whose job is to create economic growth through innovation. Creativity is important for a sustainable society. Gore and Rifkin both come close to the ecological thinking. Gore claims that ecosystem of nature have a self-organizing capacity. In this context tried to prove this article that ecosystem is closely connected with a creative environment.

창의성경영과 R&D성과의 관계에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 과학기술분야 정부출연연구기관을 중심으로-

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of creativity management factors on R&D performance. To do this, the data(885 cases) was collected from 19 Korean Government-supported Research Institutes, and 3 hypothesis derived from model of creativity management(after here CM) were tested. Major findings are as follows: 1) CM factors are grouped into diversity, autonomy, connectivity, redundancy and flexibility factors; 2) The factors that can explain R&D performance are connectivity, autonomy, diversity and flexibility factors; 3) All CM factors have significant relationship with satisfaction of the employees; 4) Flexibility and connectivity factors give effects on turnover intention of the members. This study has some limitations in model building and empirical testing. But this study provided the theoretical and managerial implications about CM and R&D management, especially Government-supported Research Institute.

Students' Voluntary Teaching Activities in Science Schools

  • Student members from The University of Tokushima worked voluntarily at the science school for elementary school children and high school students under the support of Japan Science and Technology Agency. The teaching classes for the science school were held in 2010 as follows: (1) Science handicraft class for children on "Wonder in light, sound, temperature and force", (2) Family Science School for children and parents on "Measurement of length, temperature, weight and energy", (3) "Tatara steel making" for high school students, (4) "Wave motion in strings" for high school students. This paper describes how the students prepared the teaching materials and what they obtained from the teaching activities.

  • In the 21st century, the traffic culture is changing suddenly with the advent of high-speed train era so called the traffic revolution age. The policy management for inducing the creativity becomes important for research institutes since the research institutes play an important role for the lead and distribution of new technologies. Therefore, the approach strategy of this investigation is based on the viewpoint of the organizational culture for better performance of research and development through stimulating inducements of creativity and active action of members. A questionnaire survey was performed on five research institutes including a professional railway research institute (PRRI) and four industrial research institutes for the current research, and a development plan for organizational culture of a PRRI has been presented based on the comparison study between two different types of research institutes.

Effects of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Fashion Design Classes

  • In recent years, in order to enhance the problem-solving skills required by the industrial field, universities have introduced the Problem-Based Learning(PBL) method to solve the problems caused by the lack of creativity, problem solving ability and self-directed learning. This study applied PBL class methods such as 'learning based on individual specific problems', 'self-directed learning', and 'small-group learning of small members' to practical design of fashion design. To do this, I conducted a questionnaire after conducting research based on the PBL module for one semester in a practical class of fashion design major at P University. As a result of the survey, the satisfaction and achievement of the class conducted by PBL learning method was improved than the existing teaching method. As such, if PBL class is used as a way of solving problems through close communication between professors and learners, it is expected to be established as a learner-centered education method that can improve creativity and professionalism.

  • Student independent project activity is beneficial for enhancing many kinds of abilities, e.g., team working, collaboration, communication, presentation, creativity, leadership, and so on. More than ten project teams actively perform every year in the Center for Innovation and Creativity Development of The University of Tokushima. The project management workshop was planned in order to make project activity successful. In this workshop, the team members studied the importance of holding a common objective among them and of making a clear plan for achieving the activity. They practiced brainstorming method and KJ method and experienced a PDCA cycle. The team activity will be fruitful on the basis of the project management method.

임파워링 리더십이 직무태도 및 창의성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 조직문화의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Influence of Empowering-Leadership to Creativity and Job attitude)

  • 임파워링 리더십은 조직구성원들에게 자신의 직무에 대한 긍정적인 심리적 태도를 형성시키고, 이렇게 형성된 심리적 태도는 조직 문화에 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 연구는 임파워링 리더십이 창의성과 직무태도에 미치는 영향에 대해서 검증하고 조직문화의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 임파워링 리더십은 창의성과 직무만족, 직무몰입 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 임파워링 리더십의 솔선수범 및 참여적 의사결정은 직무몰입에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직문화의 매개효과 검증결과, 각 변수들간의 관계에서 부분적인 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 조직문화를 관리하는 것은 조직 구성원의 태도 및 성과를 향상시키는 결과를 가져오므로, 관리자는 현 조직의 상태에 맞는 조직문화를 관리하는 능력을 발전 시켜야 함을 시사하는 바이다.

A Study on Relationship among Knowledge State, IT Support, Knowledge Sharing Process and Outcomes in Startup Teams

  • Start-ups do not have enough resources such as financial capital and established customer base. Knowledge base of start-up team members is the crucial and unrivaled resource. This study tries to explicate the knowledge sharing process occurring in this knowledge base of start-up teams. Adopting the knowledge process view, detail process of knowledge sharing process model is constructed consisting of knowledge sharing speed, quality and quantity in a form of nomological net and empirically tested. In addition, preceding antecedents and consequential outcomes of this knowledge sharing is also posited as part of the research model : knowledge state of the team leading to team creativity and agility via the explicated knowledge sharing process model. Also, as this knowledge based view are triggered by the advance of IT in general, IT support is conceptualized as an antecedent and measures are operationalized. 230 data points were collected from start-up teams. Via data analysis using PLS, theoretical relationships from knowledge state, IT support, knowledge sharing process and knowledge consequences are found to be empirically supported except a few not supported. Most of all, team agility and team creativity are theoretically supported and empirically validated as critical outcome variables beyond performance measures. Though agility and creativity has been discussed as critical construct in start-up teams, it has not be much validated empirically. Also, interestingly, IT support are found to be significantly impacting the knowledge sharing process as expected. Academic contributions and implications for practice are discussed at the end with limitations and further research.
