오층구조 레이저 증폭기의 과도현상론적해석 (Transient Analysis of Five-Layer System Laser Amplifier)

  • 레이저 증폭기를 능동영역(Ruby Rod)에서의 Fabry-Perot 공진기의 방법으로 취급했고 5층, 즉 공기일반사판-Ruby-반사판-공기의 구조로 고찰했다. 일차원 스캘라파동방정식으로 Maxwell 전자방정식을 이용하여 입사계가 연속이라는 가정하에 경계치문제로 봤으며 모든 폭사계는 각경계면에 수직으로 입사한다고 생각했다. 모든 방정식은 Laplace 변환으로 과도현상론적으로 취급했으며 증폭기로서의 안정영역과 자려발진기로서의 불안정영역을 고찰했다. 또한 과도항과 관련된 레이저 증폭기 설계상의 문제도 생각했다.

FDTD 시뮬레이션을 이용한 2차원 광자준결정 구조의 광자밴드갭 특성 연구 (A study on the photonic bandgaps in two-dimensional photonic quasicrystals by FDTD simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 우수한 광학 특성으로 활발히 연구되고 있는 광자결정(PCs)과 이를 변형시킨 광자준결정(PQCs) 구조를 설계하고 특성을 평가, 비교하였다. 특성 평가는 cubic 및 hexagonal 기본격자의 PCs와 8-fold PQC 구조를 비교하였으며 각각 동일한 충진률 동일한 굴절률 차이의 조건을 갖도록 설계하여 구조에 따른 PBGs 변화를 살펴보았다. 계산 방법은 Maxwell 방정식을 이용한 finite difference time domain (FDTD) 전산모사법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 잘 설계된 2차원 PQCs는 낮은 굴절률차이(${\Delta}n$)의 물질 구조에서도 완전한 광자밴드갭(photonic bandgaps: PBGs)를 가질 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구진은 다중회전 홀로그래피 방법 (multi-rotational holographic method)을 이용하여 설계된 PQCs를 완벽하게 재현하려는 공정을 진행 중에 있다.

초고압 폴리머 부싱의 구조에 따른 전계분포 해석 (Analysis of Electric Field Distribution of High Voltage Polymeric Bushing with Structure)

  • This paper describes the analysis of electric field distribution of high voltage polymeric bushing with structure. The high voltage bushing consists of FRP tube and housing made of LSR. The field control can be achieved by means of the design of such internal field shaper and top corona ring as grading electrodes. In accordance, the optimized design uses both internal and external elements for electric stress grading at critical parts of the bushing. Maxwell 2D simulator based on the boundary element method was also introduced in order to verify the reliability of the polymeric bushing.

  • This paper represents an analysis of a leakage inductance for a toroidal type flyback transformer. The equation to calculate the leakage inductance is derived using its MMF diagram. The analysis for the different types of the cores and winding structures is also provided using the Maxwell 3D simulation. The winding structures minimizing the leakage inductance are finally discussed, from the simulation results.

  • 본 논문에서 금속 차폐 공간 내 원거리 무선 전력전송 기술의 적용방법을 제시한다. 논문에서 고려된 금속 차폐 공간은 무선 전력전송 송수신코일의 후면 및 천장, 바닥에 위치하는 철, 알루미늄, 페라이트 3종류의 금속판들로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 유한요소해석 시뮬레이션(Ansoft Maxwell)을 통해 송수신코일 간 자기결합 측면에서 철, 페라이트 금속판 보다 우수한 알루미늄 금속판의 특성을 검토하였다.

  • Contactless power system is base on power transmission by magnetic force. The transformer loss is large because it separated with the gap. Also the system has unstable factor, since the parameters in the secondary can vary with the system movement. This paper proposes light train power transmission system using contactless transformer with multiple primary winding. To increase the system efficiency and to obtain the stable power transmission to the dynamic load, a resonant inverter is adopted. The proposed system was verified by the simulation using Spice and Maxwell. The designed contactless power transmission system is implemented for 5[kW] class and experimental results are discussed.

  • Langmur-Blodgett (LB) method has a unique characteristic of making molecularly mutilayered aggregation structures. LB method makes the thickness of organic insulation layer controllable at molecular scale in various electronic devices. In this study, the organic materials applicable to crosslinked LB insulation layers of electronic devices have developed and the electrical properties of their LB films have examined such as Brewster angle microscopy(BAM), Scanning Maxwell-stress microscopy(SMM), and Current-voltage(1-V) properties.

  • Vibration of a rotor-bearing system driven by an electric motor is a coupled phenomenon between mechanical characteristics and magnetic origins through the air-gap. With the advent of new high-energy magnets together with high precision motor applications, magnetic sources of vibration are becoming more serious. This paper investigates the transient whirl responses of a rotor system with purely mechanical origins and compares it with that of magnetically coupled origins. A perturbation method is applied to model the magnetic field associated with rotor eccentricity. Electromagnetic forces are obtained by the Maxwell stress method, which utilizes the analytical expression of radial flux density distribution. The FEM was applied to a rotor-motor system to illustrate magnetically coupled effects in rotor dynamics. Results show that magnetically coupled sources significantly affect the vibration of the rotor-motor system.

  • When a MCCB Instant trip spring which is adjusted to notrip at -20% of each current from $5{\times}In$ to $10{\times}In$ and trip +20% of those is designed, we should know attraction force between Fixed Magnet and Armature. So we first made some samples, do experiments of weight, and simulated the modelling by 3D Maxwell S/W. With values of experiment and simulated values, we do design instant trip springs and repeat the above process. Finally we set up the Process of designing Instant spring. With it, we can save time and R&D cost.

  • An axial-flux permanent-magnet machine(AFPM) topology with coreless winding is proposed. In the proposed AFPM configuration. the winding consists of a hexagon-shaped coils encapsulated in fiber-reinforced epoxy resin. Due to the lack of the iron core. the overall machine structure has high compactness and lightness. The simplified design calculation of the back emf was obtained. In this study, motor design was carried out using the software package Maxwell. This paper discusses the basic design of coil winding of AFPM motor. Experimental results were taken form a prototype machine rated 0.4 Nm, 2000 rpm.
