A Study on Changes in Body Shape of MZ Generation (2030s) Women for Clothing Construction - Focused on the 7th and 8th Size Korea's Anthropometric Data - (의복설계를 위한 MZ세대(2030대) 여성의 체형 변화 연구 - 제 7차, 제 8차 사이즈코리아 직접 측정치를 기준으로 -)

  • Recently, the MZ generation has been leading overall fashion trends, and fashion companies focus on design, marketing, and new products targeting the MZ generation. However, it is expected that a fit problem may occur if the M and Z generations are combined when producing clothing. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the differences between the two groups by comparing the body size according to the classification of the M and Z generations. In addition, this study analyzes whether the body shape of the MZ generation is different from the past generations and analyzes major changes in body size for clothing manufacturing through graphical visualization. As for the research method, a t-test was conducted to verify the significant difference between the measurements for each age group. Generation M was defined as those who are 27-39 years old, and Generation Z was defined as those who are 20-26 years old. In order to examine the changes in body measurements according to the measurement year, the 7th Size Korea and 8th Size Korea data were analyzed. In order to examine the visual changes according to the measurement year and age group, major measurements of clothing construction were analyzed. As a result, it was found that Generation M had a significantly higher height item than Generation Z. Also, in terms of circumference, width, and thickness, Generation M was larger than Generation Z. But the size of the bra cup was larger in Generation Z than Generation M. As a result of analyzing the body size changes, in the height item, the 8th Size Korea measurements were found to be significantly higher in shoulder height and navel level waist height. In the length and circumference items, the 8th Size Korea measurements were larger than the 7th. In the width, thickness, and other items, the 8th measurements were larger than the 7th.

South Korean Demand for Tourism in North Korea and the Impact of their Expenses on the North Korean Regional Economy (한국인의 북한 관광의사와 북한 지역경제 효과)

  • This study analyses how much Korean visits to North Korea have an impact on the North Korean regional economy. It estimates the demand for North Korean tourism via the borders of North Korea, China, and Russia and South Korean expenses to be spent in North Korea. When asked if they are willing to visit North Korea within the next five years in case the pre-conditions of the visit to North Korea are satisfied, approximately 64.1% of the survey respondents indicated 'yes'. To estimate the demand, this research employed the analysis of purchase intention, popular in marketing, based on their willingness to visit. The annual demand for tourism was 4,136,361 persons. The average estimated expense per person is KRW 1,532,000 and the total annual expense is KRW 6,336.9 billion. Assuming that airfare is excluded from the total expense and the expense is made evenly in each tourist destination, the estimated amount to be spent in North Korea is KRW 2,838.7 billion per annum. The backward linkage effect of this expense on the North Korean regional economy is KRW 7,972.1 billion in total production inducement, KRW 2,619.4 billion in value-added inducement, and approximately 2,890,443 persons in employment inducement. The value-added inducement effect is estimated to be approximately 7.6% of the North Korean nominal GDP in 2020. South Korean tourism is expected to have a significant impact on the North Korean economy. As the demand for North Korean tourism is likely to increase steadily due to the expected increase in overseas travel demand by Koreans, inter-Korean cooperation is needed for the development of North Korean tourism infrastructure if conditions improve.

  • This study investigates the strategies that are important for selecting shuttle carriers and logistics warehouses. In container transportation, competitive pricing has become an order qualifier due to the establishment of the standard freight rate system. As a result of this study, it can be seen that both logistics warehouses and shuttle carriers place greater importance on the partnerships with companies and employee education. Besides those two factors, the punctuality of delivery is found to be important for the quality of transportation. Therefore, companies must continue to increase their competitiveness. As customer service of the shuttle carrier, resolving the loss or damage and claim handling part is evaluated more importantly in the logistics warehouse than the ablity to resolve unexpected event. The future strategy should focus on resolving the loss/damage and claim handling factors so that companies can be competitve in the future. Based on research results, logistics warehouses and shuttle carriers can establish different marketing strategies to maintain a firm position on the market by securing competitive advantage within port hinterland.

  • This study was conducted by utilizing the Q research method, which is one of the qualitative analysis methods that can approach the in-depth and essential meaning of consumers' restaurant O2O service operation behavior. The purpose of this study is to classify the behavior of restaurant O2O services by type, to find out the characteristics of variables, and to suggest future improvement directions. An exploratory study was conducted using the Q-methodology to analyze the subjective perception of the restaurant O2O service behavior. To this end, positive and negative statement cards were prepared, P samples were selected, and Q-sort, which was subjected to classification, was analyzed using the PC QUANL program and Q factor analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was classified into three single types. Type 1 【(N= 7: Restaurant O2O Service Convenience Syndrome Type】, Type 2 【(N= 7): Restaurant O2O Service Benefit Pursuit Type】, Type 3 【(N= 6): Restaurant O2O Service Convenience Type】 The name of the factor was set as [Type], and it was found that each type has different characteristics. Through this analysis, the marketing strategy according to each factor detected is presented, and the point of supplementing the restaurant's O2O service and the direction of future operation. services in future studies.

  • This study, we will identify and analyze the current status and trends of successful field trips and field experience learning in Korea to improve the future operation of the center so that the purpose of enhancing the regional economic ripple effect in Gyeongsangbuk-do and regaining its reputation as a school trip mecca and No. 1 location can be found. This study conducted qualitative research through FGI (Focus Group Interview) on accommodation managers, tourism-related stakeholders, tourism officials stakeholders, and tourism professors in order to explore new concepts of field trips and field experience learning in 23 cities and counties in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and ways to develop and promote tour programs based on the importance of experience. Through the FGI (Focus Group Interview) analysis results, problems related to improvement of accommodation, food and beverage, safety and service, cooperation among local tourism officials, enhancement of satisfaction with student group visitors linked to unique tourism resources and promotion, diagnosis and introduction of acceptance posture, and management of local residents, local tourism officials and public officials in Gyeongsangbuk-do needed to present the direction and opportunity of tourism policies in Gyeongsangbuk-do.

An Impact of Skin Care Service Quality on Perceived Reciprocity and Long-term Relationship Orientation (피부미용 서비스품질이 호혜성지각·장기적 관계지향에 미치는 영향)

  • With the increasing number of skin care shops, service quality development that can meet the customer needs is needed to obtain differentiated competitive advantage. Accordingly this study was attempted to provide basic data on marketing necessary for operating a skin care shop by identifying the impact of service quality on perceived reciprocity and long-term relationship orientation among the customers using a skin care shop. This study conducted a survey of 290 female customers using skin care shops located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, Jeollanamdo and Jeollabukdo, and Gyeongsangnamdo and Gyeongsangbukdo through personal visit, e-mail, and post service, and the collected data were analyzed with SPSS Ver. 18.0 and Amos Ver. 18.0. As a result, it was proven that overall goodness-of-fit to the theoretical model of the research hypotheses set in this study is good. In Hypothesis 1, "Skin care specialist's work ability, facility and sanitation, and care products had a significant positive (+) impact on perceived reciprocity," which was partially adopted. In Hypothesis 2, "Skin care specialist's work ability, care products, and devices and tools had a significant positive (+) impact on long-term relationship orientation," which was adopted. In Hypothesis 3, "Perceived reciprocity had a significant positive (+) impact on long-term relationship orientation," which was adopted. Therefore, it can be concluded that skin care specialist's work ability, facility and sanitation, care products, and devices and tools are the service quality elements for allowing customers to feel thankful or encouraging them to visit the skin care shops continuously.

A Comparative Analysis of OTT Service Reviews Before and After the Onset of the Pandemic Using Text Mining Technique: Focusing on the Emotion-Focused Coping and Nostalgia (텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 코로나 19 전후 온라인 동영상 서비스(OTT) 리뷰 비교분석 연구 - 정서 중심 대처와 노스탤지어를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to contribute to the understanding of consumer behavior during the COVID-19 by comparing blog reviews of an over-the-top (OTT) online video service from before and during the pandemic. We anticipate that the COVID-19 outbreak prompts the use of the OTT service as part of an emotion-focused coping strategy derived from the loss of personal control and the subsequent avoidance motivation. We also posit that a strong yearning for life before COVID-19 will increase interest in the content that fulfills a need for nostalgia. Our analysis of Netflix reviews provides empirical evidence of the effects of an emotion-focused coping strategy and nostalgia on OTT service usage. First, the titles of the reviews posted during COVID-19 indicate that consumers were less likely to mention OTT services other than Netflix, more interested in domestic content, and used OTT services as an avoidance-denial strategy. Second, the blog content demonstrates that while pre-COVID reviews tend to focus on the practical benefits of OTT services, those posted during the pandemic focus on mood, emotions, and dialogue. In addition, interest in comedy and romance genres increased during COVID-19. Third, we identified a greater preference for realistic or everyday content that depicted the pre-pandemic era. This is the first empirical study to investigate the effects of COVID-19 on video streaming usage in Korea. In addition, this research contributes to the field of marketing by expanding our understanding of online video service users during COVID-19 and identifies practical implications for OTT services in the midst of a pandemic.

Analysis of Barrage Culture and User Analysis in New Media Content in the Chinese Market

  • Barrage is an interactive method based on video, and the video itself is visualized from the viewer's point of view to play people's emotions, and it already has an advantage in communication by attracting people's attention using stories and plays. Advances in digital and mobile technology have enabled video viewing anytime, anywhere. Due to the nature of the barrage site that relies on the same video content or playback to participate in video sharing through computers or mobile clients, a barrage that can express users' feelings and thoughts will be added, breaking down the limit of content acceptance by a single user. Barrage satisfy users' entertainment needs, and their influence is growing. Gradually, they are heading to offline movie theaters and TV from barrage videos on the Internet. Attempts to function as offline ammunition facilitated technological innovation for media convergence by converging mobile media with PCs and screens. At the same time, the trend of media convergence shown by coal screens is also a trend of overall technological development. A barrage is an extension of human communication skills. The properties of the barrage fit well with the need for experiential marketing (via video). It can provide a visual experience and create an atmosphere of "surrounding and watching" and eliminate loneliness. Barrage itself provides a function to comment on videos, which is a trigger point for the reason, and donation adds to the amount of information in the video, adding to the fun of the video. Through the barrage, sarcastic, teasing, and expressing emotions can bring entertainment experiences, and users can produce and communicate their shooting text while consuming the satisfaction brought by the shooting. At the same time, Barrage attaches great importance to the needs of the masses, is more individual and diversified, and has commercial significance in line with the current development trend of the Internet. As a new interactive method, barrage contains huge potential value. However, the impact of the interactive way of barrage should also be viewed from a dialectical point of view, how to solve the difficulties in the development of barrage. The way to solve the difficulties in the development of barrage is worth studying. This research will analyze the reasons for the development of barrage and the analysis of Chinese barrage websites, the case analysis of barrage videos, the exploration of the characteristics and values of barrage, and the problems in the process of barrage communication. Effects of Restaurants' e-Wom Characteristics on Attitude and Visit Intention: Focused on Visit Intention Over Time (레스토랑의 e-Wom 특성이 시간 경과에 따른 방문의도를 중심으로 한 태도 및 방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: With the development of the Internet, consumers can quickly access the electronic word-of-mouth. Consumers seek to reduce uncertainty by referring to the opinions of other consumers about products and services when making purchase decisions. In the food service industry, evaluating a restaurant before an actual visitation is difficult. Therefore, electronic word-of-mouth is important to interact with the customer in restaurants. as it can be used as an exchange of information in which consumers participate and interact with other customers. This study was conducted to verify how online word-of-mouth characteristics (Consensus, Vividness, Neutrality) on attitudes and visit intention from the perspective of social exchange theory. And it was performed to verify the structural relationship between short-term visit intention, mid-term visit and long-term visit intention. Research design, data, and methodology: A survey was conducted on customers who have visited restaurants. Of a total of 312 responses, 306 responses were used, excluding insincere responses and missing values for factors analysis. SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 were used for statistical analysis, and hypothesis testing was conducted after verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaire items. Result: The result of the analysis showed that, consensus and neutrality have a positive effect on attitude but not much on vividness. In addition, consensus, vividness, and neutrality have no effect on the short-term visit intention. Finally, the short-term visit intention has a positive effect on mid-term visit intention, and mid-term visit intention has a positive effect on long-term visit intention. Conclusions: Based on the results, this study suggested that it is necessary to have practical implications for marketing and monitoring restaurant reviews in consideration of the characteristics of electronic word-of-mouth. When managing electronic-word-of-mouth, it is necessary to manage the consensus and neutrality is essential to provide sufficient information about the restaurant. The focus should not only be on vividness, such as photos and videos. In addition, restaurants should also provide a good experience for first-time visitors as the short-term visit intention positively affects mid-term and long-term visit intention.

Effect of Eco-Friendly Food Store Attributes on Perceived Value and Loyalty: Moderating Effect of Delivery Service (친환경 식품 전문점의 점포속성이 지각된 가치와 충성도에 미치는 영향: 배송 서비스의 조절효과)

  • Purpose: The online market is growing the most in history due to the expansion of non-face-to-face commerce. In addition, as consumers' interest in health, food safety, and environment increases, interest in and consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products is also increasing. Therefore, in the case of a specialty store that sells eco-friendly organic agricultural products, a marketing strategy that can increase customer loyalty by reflecting these consumer needs is necessary. In this study, the store attributes of eco-friendly food stores are classified into location, assortment, price, quality, and employee service, and the effect of each store attribute on utilitarian and hedonic value is investigated. Research design, data, and methodology: The subjects of this study were customers who visited an eco-friendly food store. Of the 511 survey responses, 311 were used for statistical verification, excluding 200 who had not visited within the last 3 months. For statistical analysis, Smart PLS 3.0 was used, and after checking the validity and reliability of the items, hypothesis testing was performed. Result: As a result of the study, it was found that assortment, quality, and employee service among store attributes had a positive (+) effect on utilitarian and hedonic value. Second, location had no significant effect on utilitarian and hedonic value. Third, price did not appear to have a positive (+) effect on the utilitarian value, and it was found to have a positive (+) effect on the hedonic value. Fourth, It was investigated whether the presence or absence of delivery service had an effect on store attributes between utilitarian and hedonic value, and it was found that there was a significant effect between employee service and hedonic value. Conclusions: Among eco-friendly food store environment management will be required in order to provide food that meets the tastes and needs of consumers by diversifying the taste, standard, and quality grade of food, and to maintain or improve the quality. In order to unlike other stores, eco-friendly food stores have high price resistance from the point of view of consumers, so it is necessary to diversify promotional media such as YouTube and SNS to raise awareness of eco-friendly organic food.
