기능적 분해방법을 이용한 TLU형 FPGA의 다출력 함수 로직 합성 알고리즘 설계 (Logic synthesis algorithm of multiple-output functions using the functional decomposition method for the TLU-type FPGA)

  • This paper describes two algorithms for technology mapping of multiple output functions into interesting and pupular FPGAs(Field Programmable Gate Array) that use look-yp table memories. For improvement of technology mapping for FPGA, we use the functional decompoition method for multiple output functions. Two algorithms are proposed. The one is the Roth-Karpalgorithm extended for multiple output functions. The other is the efficient algorithm which looks for common decomposition functions through the decomposition procedure. The cost function is used to minimize the number of CLBs and nets and to improve performance of the network. Finally we compare our new algorithm with previous logic design technique. Experimental resutls show sigificant reduction in the number of CLBs and nets.

  • This paper describes several algorithms for technolgoy mapping of logic functions into interesting and popular FPGAs that use look-up table memories. In order to improved the technology mapping for FPGA, some existing multi-level logic synthesis, decomposition reduction and packing techniques are analyzed and compared. And then new algorithms such as merging fanin, unified reduction and multiple disjoint decomposition which are used for combinational logic design, are proposed. The cost function is used to minimize the number of CLBs and edges of the network. The cost is a linear combination of each weight that is given by user. Finally we compare our new algorithm with previous logic design technique. In an experimental comparison our algorithm requires 10% fewer CLB and nets than SIS-pga.

  • For the ultimate purpose of mapping, with a high precision, the local electrochemical potentials of an ionic carrier in nonisothermal conditions, an ionic probe for Ag+ ions, Pt/Ag/AgI, has been miniaturized to a tip size of 20∼30$\mu\textrm{m}$, by an electrochemical technique combined with gas (I2)/solid (Ag) reaction, and its performance checked by measuring the partial electronic and ionic conductivities of Ag2S from the ion and electron blocking cells, Ag/Ag2S/Pt and Ag/Ag2S/AgI/Ag, respectively. The results have firmly confirmed that the miniaturzed probe function quite validly and be very promising.

  • Noise map is a presentation of existing data or predicted noise situation in terms of noise indicator. However, it has shortcoming for assessing the number of people exposed, or the number of dwellings affected to any relevant limit values of noise level in certain areas. In this study, so called over-ride value noise mapping is Proposed to make up for the shortcoming by using over-ride function of object-oriented programming and it is to show the guard of the area where it is satisfied the standard of option, or it is not satisfactory. Over-ride value noise map data is combined with topography layer, population and house statistics, and GIS space statistical analysis. The over-ride value noise mapping can also be applied to make the road traffic noise map, the railroad noise map, the aircraft noise map, and the industrial site noise map. This can express noise damage information more exactly.

  • 오늘날 단백질 정보 분석은 HGP(Human Genome Project)이후 Post-genome 시대를 맞이하면서 매우 중요한 분야로 인식되고 있다. 이 단백질 정보를 이용하는 응용은 Discovery of Protein Structure/Function Relationships, Evolutionary Relationships, 3D Modeling 등 많은 분야에서 활용되어진다. 여러 가지 분야들 중에서 특히 단백질 구조 분석을 위한 많은 다양한 소프트웨어들이 출현되고 있다. 하지만 복잡하게 얽혀 있는 단백질들을 검증하기 위해서 Mass Spectrometry에서 발생되는 Peptide Masses의 정보들을 이용할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Mass Spectrometry에서 생성된 Peptide Mass Map을 이용하여 기존의 단백질 Database에 있는 단백질들과 비교하는 자동화 단백질 검증 시스템 설계 및 구현에 관한 연구내용을 담고 있다. 이 시스템은 3-계층 중심으로 개발이 이루어지며 이 기종 시스템과의 원활한 통신 다중 계층의 환경에 있는 각 객체들간에 통신을 위해서 RMI 기반의 미들 웨어를 활용하기로 한다.

  • In this paper, we study right half-plane harmonic mappings $f_0$ and f, where $f_0$ is fIxed and f is such that its dilatation of a conformal automorphism of the unit disk. We obtain a sufficient condition for the convolution of such mappings to be convex in the direction of the real axis. The result of the paper is a generalization of the result of by Li and Ponnusamy [11], which itself originates from a problem posed by Dorff et al. in [7].

  • This paper presents a distance mapping-based localization method with incomplete data which means partially observed data. We make three contributions. First, we propose the use of Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) for multi-robot localization. Second, we formulate the problem to accomodate partial observations common in multi-robot settings. We solve the resulting optimization problem using #Scaling by Majorizing a Complicated function (SMACOF)#, a popular algorithm fur iterative MDS. Third, we not only verify the performance of MDS-based multi-robot localization by computer simulations, but also implement a real world localization of multi-robot team. Using extensive empirical results, we show that the accuracy of the proposed method is almost similar to that of Monte Carlo Localization(MCL).

  • In this paper, to analyze the initial valued non-homogeneous elastic half space by the scaled boundary analysis, the infinite element approach was introduced. The free surface of the initial valued non-homogeneous elastic half space was mode1ed as a circumferential direction of boundary scaled boundary coordinate. The infinite element was used to represent the infinite length of the free surface. The initial value of material property(elastic modulus) was considered by the combination of the position of the sealing center and the power function of the radial direction. By use of the mapping type infinite element, the consistent e1ements formulation could be available. The performance and the feasibility of proposed approach are examined by two numerical examples.

  • In this paper, we consider the problem of estimation of average radar cross section (RCS) for Swerling 1 fluctuation model, based on the maximum likelihood (ML) estimation method. In a mathematical development we take into account the event that target strength is lower than detection threshold, or the target is not detected. Our ML estimation for the SWR uses the score function that is the joint probability-pdf of the events and random variables. The solution to the ML estimation reduces to an expression in the from of a contraction mapping. The computational efficiency of the contraction mapping theorem is significant in computing the ML estimation as compared with other root-finding algorithms fur most radar tracking conditions.

  • The Research on the ICT(Information & Communication Technology) is proposed the category to IT839 strategy by Government. Government is driving to researching on technology about IT839 Strategy. By transforming this category and research information into Semantic Web environment, it is possible to search function utilizing knowledge base and information object by use of TBox and ABox. In this regard, this study proposes technology for generation of Semantic Web Document about ICT Research Information. The ontology is constructed by using category to IT839 Strategy. The features of framework proposed in this study is to have used a skill to directly map Ontology instance and in case of inability of direct mapping, proposed a skill to establish reliable Semantic Web Document by suggesting indirect mapping skill using mechanical study. In addition, it is possible to establish low cost/high quality Semantic Web Document about ICT research information.
