Underwater works are indispensable in the coastal and ocean engineering fields, and the reliance on manpower is higher than land works. Divers who work for a long time in a high-pressure underwater environment are always exposed to the risks of diving-related diseases. To prevent them, proper planning, operation, and management of diving by a supervisor with professional diving knowledge are required. This study provides the basic data for supervisors to plan, operate, and manage air diving for safe and efficient work in underwater construction sites. It is well-known that air diving simulations using the varying permeability model (VPM) require a longer decompression time as the water depth and the residence time in water increase. Therefore, it is crucial to have a proper surface interval through repetitive diving rather than single diving to improve the safety of the divers and the efficiency of underwater work. Furthermore, coastal and ocean engineers who manage and supervise underwater construction work must acquire expert knowledge on diving before they can plan, operate, and manage diving.

The purpose of this study was to research the status of logistic service-related workers about untact works by case study in the Era of COVID-19. An experimental design was used by case analysis of interviews with ten office workers from May to June 2020. The results of this research were divided into three categories: work environment, work management and work effect. First, teleworking has a significantly positive influence on business efficiency about work environment. ZOOM, One drive, Skype, Chatbot, Microsoft Teams and Remote view are used as collaborative applications. Second, work instructions in documents are needed such as e-mail and messenger using information and communication technology about work management. Third, the strong points of teleworking are both high work efficiency and job satisfaction about work effect. The weak points of teleworking are both very low-technology and misunderstanding about work effect. The result offer some insights into the case study of logistic service-related workers about untact works. Based on the results, the implications and the limitations of this study were discussed.

Recently, various construction projects are invested with plenty capital, manpower and resources. The advanced methods of the construction management is introduced to Korea. However, the cases which get involved in excessive cost frequently occur. We can explain it means that the cost management in the entire phases and the risk factors in its works has not been done yet as expected. Thus, it is necessary to unearth risk factors relative to cost management and analyse them for preventing cost-increasing and the success of projects. In this point of view, this study aims to identify the risk factors of the cost management focused on pre-construction stages from the perspective of construction management which is possible to take part in the whole phases and works in cost management. Also, the impact priority and grade of risk factors to cost-increasing are evaluated by using FMEA.

The purpose of this study is to integrate a structural design Process of framed steel structures. It is composed of analysis, design, drafting and construction management. However each step of these works involved with a large amount of data and man hour resources. The aim of this study is to alleviate time consuming efforts mentioned above by integrating the different stage of works. Very successful results have been achieved by setting up a common database in whole process and applying the techniques of knowledge base system.

Through the activities of MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group), a number of issues have been identified within the scope of IPMP (Intellectual Property Management and Protection). This paper aims to address parts of them in the aspects of overall structure of MPEG-21 IPMP and to result in increasing the understanding of MPEG standardization works. In particular, this paper will address the major issues such as hooks, interoperability, and authentication architecture. Based on the architectures, this paper will explain how the MPEG-21 IPMP works with its components.

The Safety Assessment for Construction works is used in order to make the safety plans to protect calamities in construction sites. However in Korea it is problem that the Safety Assessment has strict and meaningless contents. So it is not used well. This study suggests the effectual making methods of the Safety Assessment to solve the problems which are found through investing serious calamities and interviewing experts.

The purpose of this study was to analysis to jobs inducing the Musculoskeletal Disorders(MD) and improve the working environment. The case study was conducted at S company where makes radiator case of heavy profile equipment. Most of works are plating and welding. Bending and welding are works which induce MD. The adjustable workstation and fatigue prevention mat were recommended for the welding and bending. A standing posture was recommended for the welding.
