Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health behavior and examine closely the connection factor and plans oral health promotion. Methods : This survey was conducted on 370 high school students in Kyunggi-do Suwon from November 21 to 23, 2011. 352 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. The collected data was analyzed using the statistical package SPSS WIN 15.0 using frequency, mean and standard deviation analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan's test correlation analysis. Results : The results state that 73.3% of students believe brushing teeth is very important and 26.7% of the students method of tooth brushing is up and down. for correct teeth brushing, they think choosing a brush is important(70.7%) also their brush shapes were uneven form(44.3%) and flat form(43.5%). 31.4% of students are using an oral hygiene device and 31.4% of students had received oral health education. 42.7% of female students get information about oral health from their dental clinics. 24.8% of male students receive information on oral health from parents and relatives. They think the best educator for oral health education will be a Dental hygienist(46.5%), or Dentist(48.0%). we found that a correlation between oral health interest, importance, knowledge and condition effect each other(p<.001). It means that if students have high oral health interest, oral care importance and oral health knowledge which can improve their oral health condition. Conclusions : The results of this study state that we need continuous oral health education systems and prevention programs to raise awareness among students and for the improvement of their oral health.

In vitro dissolution test and pharmacokinetic study in human volunteers were conducted to evaluate the pharmacokinetic characteristics of 150 mg furbiprofen sustained-release capsule (FPSR-150). As a reference product, 50 mg flurbiprofen conventional-release capsule (FPCR-50) was used. Dissolution tests of two products were run using the paddle method in 450 : 540 (v/v %) mixture of simulated gastric and intestinal fluids (K.P. VI) by adjusting medium pH according to time. FPCR-50 was dissolved very rapidly, and it took about 1.5 hr for FPCR-50 to be dissolved over 90%, whereas 15 hr for FPSR-150. Also, in pharmacokinetic study, ten healthy male volunteers were administered one capsule of FPSR-150 or two capsules of FPCR-50 (FPCR-l00) with randomized two period cross-over study. Significant differences between FPCR-l00 and FPSR-150 were found in mean times to reach peak concentration, mean resident times and mean terminal phase halflives, while not in AUC/Dose (Student's t-test). In ANOVA for AUC/Dose to compare the bioavailabilities of two FP products, there was no significant difference. From the comparison of the simulated steady-state plasma concentration-time curves following multiple medications of FPCR-50 (3 capsules a day, dosing interval=8 hrs) and FPSR-150 (1 capsule a day) based on the above results obtained from single doses of two FP products, it was noted that the medication of FPSR-150 is more useful in clinical application rather than FPCR-50.
The aim of this study was to confirm for relationship between national exam stress and oral health status on allied health students. For this, 829 of allied health students were surveyed in four college and university located in Chungbuk and Kyungbuk. Survey tool were constituted general characteristic(4 items), national exam stress(16 items) and oral health status(34 items). The result of study, national exam stress of female were higher than male and that of department of dental hygiene, nursing, emergency medical service students were higher than other students(p<0.05). Subjective oral symptom were higher on high stress group than other groups(p<0.05). Relationship between stress and subjective oral symptom were related each other(p<0.01). Therefore it is necessary to education for manage oral symptom affected national exam stress.

Objective: This study aims to develop a new desk with a built-in bookholder and desktop-mounted sliding drawer for reducing stress of seated reading postures and to analyze its effect. Background: It is general for readers to bend their back and neck when reading books on desks, which may result in high back and neck postural stress. In addition, postures using vertically layered drawers positioned at the side of users may be awkward. Method: For reducing the postural stress, a new desk with a built-in bookholder and sliding drawer was developed based on a standard of KS G 4208 for student desk. The muscle activities of reading postures on both existing and new desks were measured using EMG, in which seven male and three female college students participated. The postural stress, and musculoskeletal discomfort and ease of usage for existing and new drawers were analyzed by RULA and questionnaire survey, respectively. Results: Compared to existing desk, the muscle activity for the new desk with a bookholder was reduced by 47% when reading books. In addition, musculoskeletal discomforts in the shoulder, neck and low back were significantly lower when using the new desk with a bookholder. Although the stresses for postures using the desktop-mounted sliding drawer and general drawer were not significantly different, the questionnaire survey revealed that the new desktop-mounted sliding drawer is easier to use. Conclusion: A new desk developed in this study significantly reduced postural stress and enhanced subjective preference when reading. Application: This would be useful when developing new desks with low postural stress.
This study was performed to investigate purchasing practice and size satisfaction in order to establish marketing strategy and produce free-size clothes for the male and female in their 20s. Results were as follows; first, regarding the size selection method, it has been found that 71.5% of subjects answered that they buy clothes as a sales clerk chooses for them without knowing the old size name or notation. Second, 47.5% of subjects answered that free size is the size, which fits well to 55~66 size. Meanwhile, 36.1% answered that free size fits well to any body type; while 4% answered that free size fits well to 77 size. Third, regarding the clothes kind, which consumers buy most as free size, consumers buy shirts and sportswear by free size. Fourth, they were observed to purchase free-size clothes "free-size clothes what I want" and to not purchase clothes "due to the lack of right sizes." The size notation of clothes products is basic information, by which consumers can tell whether the clothes fit to self or not before the consumer would wear the clothes and confirm its fitness. Therefore, it is suggested that all clothes products would be manufactured by having KS clothes size as basic data and they would use standard size notation so that consumers would not have confusion. Standardized size notation by proper education and utilization on new KS notation method and attitude change of companies and consumers on size are suggested.
Limited research has investigated the satisfaction of patients with cancer. This study was performed to explore patients' satisfaction and the related factors. The data were collected by telephone survey for the participants who were beneficiaries on the national financial aid program for cancer patients between January and October in 2009. Student's t-tests and analysis of variance were performed first to determine if the mean satisfaction score differed by the characteristics of study objects, followed by stepwise multiple regression analyses to examine the factors affecting satisfaction. When comparing the relating factors with patients' satisfaction according to the sociodemographic characteristics, the male, old-aged, higher educated, lower cancer stage, lung cancer group showed a significantly higher level of recognition for satisfaction. A public health center, better public relations, recognized more helpful, don't have expectation, put a person to expense, and don't feel pressured for medical cost groups were showed a higher level of recognition for satisfaction. The result of the multiple regression analysis, short waiting time, well known program policy, recognized helping of policy and had the financial burden had significantly influence on the satisfaction of patients with cancer.
The purpose of the study is to verify the effectiveness the Preliminary Health Administrators(PHA)' Empathy Ability(EA) through the application of Medical Service Design Thinking(MSDT) conducted by undergraduate school of Intrapreneurship education. The pre-post questionnaire survey was conducted on 41 students in the second year of the Department of Health Administration after applying MSDT for 15 weeks from March to June, 2018 at a college in Daegu. The main results are as follows. MSDT was positive influenced on the improvement of Empathic Imagine, Empathic awakening of the PHA' EA. Especially, male student or aged 20-25, it was effective on the improvement of Empathic Imagine and Empathic awakening of the participants. Further research is needed on the development of MSDT programs for each grade to improve the empathy of PHA.
This study was undertaken to develop and evaluate a nutrition education program with internet for students. A survey was conducted to find out needs for nutrition education program with 430 college or high school student in October, 1997. Eighty four point eight percent of female and 36.0% of male students had a plan to reduce their weight in a near future. Forty four point four percent of subjects obtained information about weight control from mass media, 28.6% of subjects obtained from their neighbor's recommendation. The information wanted to know were high-calorie foods, answered by 42.1% of females, and calorie expenditure of exercise, answered by 31.9% of males. The obese group showed higher preferrence to sweet foods, salty foods, hot foods, convenience foods, processed foods, animal foods, fried and oily foods, and eating-out than normal group(p<0.05). The obese group also showed a tendency of bad food habits, low intake of seaweeds, high intakes of animal fat, cholesterol-rich foods and salty foods. Amount of food intakes was inappropriate in obese group. An internet program for nutrition education was developed using the results of the survey and juvenile nutrition programs. The program consisted of 6 steps ; step 1 was to check one's physical status, step 2 was explanation about good food habits, step 3 was about food management, step 4 was methods of exercise for health, step 5 included how to maintain ideal weight, and step 6 was related-internet site. Pre-education test and post-education test was conducted to evaluate the nutrition education through internet. The score of nutrition knowledge increased from $74.2{\pm}7.4$ to $77.2{\pm}9.6.$ The score of food attitude did not change. The subjects wanted more information about nutrition from internet. Therefore, internet program of nutrition education with specific and interesting topics should be developed more.
Background: A backpack is available equipment for moving some objects. Most studies have found that the appropriate weight limit of backpack for students is between 10% to 15% of their body weight (BW). However, Some students should carry a backpack heavier than 15% of BW. Therefore, It is associated with abnormal shoulder and neck posture on students. Objects: This study tested the effects that various amounts of weight carried by university students in their backpacks had on their cervical posture and electromyography of neck muscle. Methods: The subjects consisted of 12 students (6 male, 6 female) in university. There were three loading conditions tested: no backpack, a backpack that weighed 10% and 15% of the student's BW. The dependent variables were the craniovertebral angle (tragus to C7) and the neck muscle activities (sternocleidomastoid, upper trapezius). All 12 subjects were asked to walk while wearing a backpack for 5 minutes and were then instructed to rest for 2 minutes. Results: When assessing the craniovertebral angle, the results of this study were significantly decreased in the order of 0%, 10%, and 15%. And then, there were significantly increased electromyography of neck muscles that comparison of the weight of 10% and 15% on 0%. It was found that as the weight of the backpack increased, the craniovertebral angle decreased (p < 0.05) and the muscle activities increased (upper trapezius p = 0.012, sternocleidomastoid p = 0.013). Conclusion: Our study recommended that some students shouldn't carry on over the 15% backpack of own weight, and also they should distribute backpack load to equal on body for optimal posture.
The purpose of this study was to investigate a dietary life style of university student at campus towns and the actual condition of F&B(Food and Beverage) shop. This survey about the dietary was carried out with a variety of questionares about the life style. The subjects are 364 males and 278 females university students in Pusan area. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS Package Program. The summary of the results are as follows : The most of the subjects have a meal in-cam-pus restaurant with rice during daytime. In out-campus popular restaurant is a flouryfood restaurant and the most of subject used to go the restaurant to take a meal more than once for 2~3 days. Although a half of the subjects are satisfied with the restaurant in out-campus. Some of the subjects are unsatisfied with a price of food. A taste is the most popular criteria for selecting food in the restaurant and almost of the subjects take a meal in price 2000~2500won. Cchachangmyun is the most popular with the subject in the flouryfood restaurant, coffee is popular with the subject in the coffee shop. A half of the subjects used to go a hof house to drink, and beer is the most popular liquor with them. More than a half of the subject have a drinking at least more than once for a week in the drinking shop. A half of male subjects are able to drink more than 2,ooocc beer and more than a half of female subjects are able to drink more than 500cc beer. More than a half of the subjects want to new F&B shop to got a new experience.
