Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate how one's motive to choose a major of study, career values, and satisfaction with the major affect immersion within the major. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire on choice of major and career values was completed by 224 students from March 2nd to March 15th of 2022. The collected data were analyzed using several metrics and tests with IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 software: frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and linear regression. Results: The average scores of the motive to choose a major, career values, satisfaction with the major, and immersion in the major were 3.15, 3.91, 3.56, and 3.45, respectively. There were significant correlations between all four variables (p<0.05). Career values and satisfaction with the major positively influenced a student's immersion in that major; the explanatory power of the model was 77% (p<0.01). Conclusion: The department should offer education on career values to further increase the immersion of dental technician students within their chosen major.

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between nursing students' empathy, communication skills, and major immersion, and to identify factors that affect major immersion. The subjects of the study were 247 nursing students from one university in the G province, and data collection was conducted from November 20 to December 1, 2023. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The subject's empathy ability was 3.49 points, communication ability was 3.64 points, and major immersion was 3.61 points. Major immersion has a positive correlation with empathy and communication ability, and the factors affecting major immersion are major satisfaction and communication ability, with an explanatory power of 42.9%. To improve nursing students' immersion in their major, it is necessary to set the direction of learning activities and develop and apply various extracurricular programs.

In this study, we tried to investigate the influence of the career maturity of college students majoring in cosmetology on their devotion to the major. Research results As a result of analyzing the correlation between the career maturity level of cosmetology majors and the sub-factors of devotion to majors, all questions showed positive correlations between the career maturity of cosmetology majors and devotion to majors. as a result of analyzing the influence of career maturity on major activity sub-factors of major involvement, the crystallinity of career maturity , readiness statistically. As a result of analyzing the effect of career maturity on the major satisfaction subfactor of major immersion, the crystallinity of career maturity , readiness, and certainty were shown to have statistically significant positive effects. Through research results, we aim to develop a positive career maturity for cosmetology majors, improve their immersion in their majors, and establish a sense of values through correct theory and practical education. Immersion education and ongoing guidance seem necessary. Through this research, we hope that active discussions will be held on the career maturity of college students majoring in cosmetology and their devotion to the major.

The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve major satisfaction that can be applied by universities through the analysis of factors influencing major satisfaction of engineering college students. To this end, Korea-National Survey of Student Engagement(K-NSSE) data involving 814 students from T University were used, and logistic regression analysis and t-test were applied. The main results obtained through this are as follows. First, engineering college students' major satisfaction factors include major-career relevance, college immersion, and positive academic sentiment. Second, depending on the grade, it was confirmed that the factor of major-career relevance in the lower grades, and the factors of meaningful learning experience and college immersion in addition to major-career relevance in the upper grades had a significant influence. Third, the higher the meaningful learning experience, positive academic sentiment, and college immersion, including the major-career relevance, the higher the major satisfaction was found in the middle-class group with a score of BO or higher. This study is meaningful in that it revealed differences in influence by individual characteristics as well as major satisfaction influencing factors that can be practiced in universities such as learning experiences.

The study has been focused on identifying the impact of professors' types of leadership on major satisfaction, learning immersion in college students. To achieve this goal, the results of a survey of 543 affiliated students from september 2017 to november were as follows. Data processing has been done using the IBM SPSS statistics 25 program, and t-test and multi-return analysis were performed to determine the characteristics of the survey subjects, to verify the validity and reliability of the survey tools, and to identify differences and influence between factors. First, there was a difference between gender and grade, but by major, there was no difference. Second, learning immersion varies by major, gender and grade. Third, the factors that significantly influence a type of leadership's satisfaction with a major were shown to have a significant impact on vision and sense of duty, individual consideration, situational reward but were not significant in exceptional control by exception. Fourth, the impact of the types of leadership on learning immersion showed that vision and sense of duty, and situational reward, but individual consideration and exceptional control by exception were not significant.

This study intends to propose an evaluation tool for analyzing the sense of immersion of realistic VR game contents in the metabus game industry, which is rapidly increasing recently. This paper presents an analysis tool to measure the degree of immersion after selecting three types VR games for research, and analyzing the immersion way method of the game. The research method analyzes how the user and the sense of immersion formed in the storytelling in the game can have an effect. Based on the results, we present an sense of immersion analysis and measurement method for evaluating the usability of VR game contents, which is a key element in the metaverse era. Furthermore, it expands the immersion element that appears in storytelling to the game industry and seeks a new direction of development through connection with the VR game industry.

The effect of alkaline environmental condition on durability of GFRP composites according to additives was investigated. Additives used were polyvinyl alcohol(PVA), kaolin and alumina powder. Weight gains increased with immersion time in all GFRP composites at $80^{\circ}C$. But weight gain of specimen added PVA did not differ through the wlwle immersion time in both tap water and alkaline solution at 20 and $80^{\circ}C$. Tensile strength decreased with immersion time in all environment conditions. Tensile strength of GFRP composites regardless of additives decreased rapidly up to 5 days of immersion and then decreased slowly up to 30 days in alkaline solution environment at $80^{\circ}C$. Weight gains had not. much difference in both tap water and alkaline solution at $20^{\circ}C$. And weight gain of GFRP composites added polyvinyl alcohol had smaller than the others through the whole immersion time in both tap water and alkaline solution at $20^{\circ}C$ and $80^{\circ}C$. Tensile strength of GFRP composites added polyvinyl alcohol had higher than the others through the whole immersion time in both tap water and alkaline solution at $20^{\circ}C$ and $80^{\circ}C$.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of preschooler's self-regulation and maternal parenting behavior on preschooler's game immersion. Subjects were 253 4- to 5-year-old preschoolers(118 boys, 135 girls) and their mothers. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The major findings are summarized as follows: (1) preschooler's game immersion differed from preschooler's gender. Boy preschooler had higher score than girl preschooler in game immersion. (2) Both boy and girl preschooler's game immersion was negatively correlated with preschooler's behavioral regulation and emotional regulation, maternal rational guidance, limit-setting and affection. (3) The most influential factor on boy preschooler's game immersion was behavioral regulation. On the other hand, the most influential factor on girl preschooler's game immersion was emotional regulation, and the next influential factor was maternal affection. Results of this study indicate that self-regulation enhancement program should be developed and mothers should be more affective with their preschoolers in order to prevent preschoolers' game immersion.

This study is a case study comparing and examining the effects of non-face-to-face(NFTF) classes in the 2021-2 semester and face-to-face(FTF) classes in the 2022-2 semester on learning immersion, learning stress, and learning satisfaction. The learning immersion and learning satisfaction of 240 students were analyzed in NFTF and FTF classes of department S of C junior college where the same textbook, same subject, and same professor were taught. For data processing, SPSS Ver. 23.0 was used. The data is used to measure reliability by Cronbach's α, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, learners' learning immersion was higher in FTF than NFTF classes among engineering major subjects. Second, it was found that there was a difference in learning stress according to the types of FTF and NFTF classes in engineering major subjects. Third, it was found that there were differences in practice content, communication, and task performance of sub-factors of learning satisfaction according to FTF and NFTF class types in engineering major subjects. In conclusion, it was found that FTF classes had a more positive effect on learning immersion and satisfaction, and NFTF classes had a more negative effect on learning stress.
