Purpose : Nursing profession has been rapidly changed due to the development of bioscience and the change of medical service environment. Nursing profession that has been focused on only care giver's role like mother's in tradition, is required careful reflection new nursing role to cope properly to the change of medical service environment. In nursing profession, the concept of the role was used without an accurate definition, as a results, the concept of the role was mixed with the concept of the "activity", "job" and "function". Therefore, concept analysis of the role in nursing profession is needed to remove conceptual ambiguous and make confirm the true meaning of the role. Concept analysis is a strategy that examine the characteristics of a concept. It is a formal linguistic exercise to determine those defining attributes. The basic purpose of concept analysis is to clarify ambiguous concept in theory, and propose operational definition which reflects the theoretical base of the concept. Method : In this study, the concept of the role in nursing profession which was analyzed based on the steps of concept analysis by Walker & Avant(1988). Results : The attributes of the concept of the role in nursing profession are : 1. Basic factors to construct social structure. 2. Expected attitudes, values, behavior patterns according to the social status and position in social structure. 3. Perceptive attitudes, values, behavior patterns in order to social interaction. 4. Acquiring through continuous communication and learning. 5. Not fixative but changeable. The antecedents of the role in nursing profession are : 1. The social status and position which is possessed by a person. 2. Expected attitudes, values, behavior patterns according to the social status and position in social structure. 3. Acquiring through continuous interaction, communication, and learning process. And the consequences of the role in nursing profession are : 1. The role maintenance and the role expansion as a positive consequences. 2. The role conflict and the role loss as a negative consequences. Conclusion : Through this concept analysis, the concept of the role in nursing profession is defined as As basic factors to construct social structure, person's attitudes, values, behavior patterns which are expected from other social members according to person's social status and position, and perceived and acquired through continuous interaction, communication, and leaning process.
Although the number of domestic electric vehicle registrations exceeded 100,000 in the first half of 2020, legal and institutional concerns for maintenance and management are insufficient. In particular, the existing automobile maintenance business and qualification holders are not prohibited from performing electric vehicle maintenance without additional qualifications or training under the current laws. In this study, we review the current status of Korean laws and regulations, examine discussions abroad such as the UK, the US, and Germany, and then discuss desirable laws and institutional reform. This study proposes to temporarily reorganize the system in a way that separates the electric vehicle maintenance business and the electric vehicle maintenance qualifications from conventional vehicle.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) comes to be implemented into architectural design, construction, and maintenance in Japan in order to convert design information thoughout a construction project. However, various problems are taking place in data transaction. It is not also clear about the role and the responsibility of the architects and the enginners in charge.There is a movement to establish a BIM manager as a general coordinator concerning BIM in Singapore and other countries, though it is not yet popular in Japan. This paper deals a BIM manager as a new profession in a construction project. The function and skills necessary to a BIM manager is analyzed, and the strategy of Japanese general contractors is discussed. General contractors from Japan are operating BIM in Singapore compatible with open system of supply chain. This style is different from the one in Japan even they belong to the same company. In this paper it is analyzed based on the survey in detail.
The concept and definition of nursing and her role have been changing in accordance with the socio-cultural factors of the initial society. At present, nursing is conceptualized as a health care profession assisting man to restore, maintain and promote health by providing knowledge, wilt strength and resources through various processes of interaction. Man′s behavior, of individual and group activities for health inclusive, is driven by the initial man′s value orientation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the value orientation regarding health of rural health center milieu in order to give data for; 1. the planning for the delivery of community nursing service, 2. the health education plan at all level of nursing care activities, and 3. the planning of curriculum for nursing education. A hundred opinion leaders among the labor population residing in rural areas (P-group), hundred and six professional nurses at rural health centers (N-group) were indirectly interviewed through questionaries. And ninety five of N-group were interviewed likewise of their perceptions of P-group (NP-group) from July 15, to October 15, 1974. The result is as follows: 1. Maintenance of health is revealed to be the most valued component for man′s happiness in all the three groups. (P-group: 7.30 S. D.=1.31), (N-group :7.84 S. D. =49), and (NP-group : 5.93 S. D. =2.28) 2. The average value score of the maintenance of health revealed significant difference by P〈.001 level between each of the three groups. (Between N-group and P-group : T= -4.07 P and NP ; T=-6.93, N and NP: T=-9.35) 3. Basic health maintenance activities necessary for maintenance and promotion of personal health were moderately valued by all the three groups, P-group ; 3.74 (S. D. =.43) , N-group: 3.52 (S. D. =.34), NP-group: 3.07 (S. D. :.55) Among the 8 categories of basic health maintenance activities, "food intake" was highly valued by P-group (mean value score; 4.00 S. D=.51) , "exercise and rest" and "personal cleanliness" was highly valued by both P-group (4.02, 4.08) and N-group (4.08, 4.22). 4. The mean value score of basic health maintenance activities revealed significant difference by P〈.001 level between each of the three groups (between P-group and N-group: T=-4, 07, N-and NP: T=-6.93, P and NP T=-9.35) 5. Among the 30 questionaries, dynamic activities for health maintenance were more valued in comparison to passive activities in an tile three groups. 6. In N-group, correlation between the value of basic health maintenance activities and the personal health status personal revealed moderate significance. Correlation between the value of basic health maintenance activities and the age revealed low significance. 7. In group, correlation between the value of basic health maintenance activities and; perception of personal health status revealed non significance, between the age and sex revealed low sign affiance, and between the educational status revealed moderate significance. Recommendations are as follows ; 1. The efforts towards alteration of value orientation concerning health in general in community nursing practice de focussed be that of family Planning. 2. In order to prepare professional nurses competent in understanding individual and group, social science and behavioral science be strength ended in planning nursing curriculum. 3. Milieu of nursing experience during nursing education be Planned to begin at simple nursing problem and move towards complex, f. e. home care towards health crisis situation in order to achieve dynamic role mastery.
The purpose of the study is to find out how laws related to the nursing profession can be improved by analyzing the rules and regulations concerning nursing. Furthermore, to help settle legal matters in the process of doing nursing work. The data used for the study are the Health and Medical Act, the Maternal and Child Health Act, the School Health Act, the Special Act for Health and Medical Service in Rural Areas, the Industrial Health & Safety Act and the Notice on Nursing Professional Courses analyzed by age and content. The results of the study are as follows : First, basic nursing practice includes 'nursing care for recuperation and assistance in medical treatment and in special areas including the pre-vention of disease, maintenance of health, control of environment, and other therapeutic activities. It is suggested that the phrase 'assistance in medical treatment' should be eliminated as it limits the basic nursing practice to the assistance of the medical treatment. Second, Article 56 of the Health & Medical Act prescribes a special nurse but it does not prescribe a specific job. Accordingly, the new provison concerning the specific jobs of a special nurse should be added or a job guide should be inseated. Third, it is prescribed that those who have completed the training course after obtaining a license are qualified to be a midwife, a special nurse and a nurse practitioner working in special areas. However, school nurses, occupational health nurses and maternal and health workers are required to obtain a nurse license, but not to take an additional training course. Nurses working in special areas should be legally recognized as nurse specialists. The regulations to control various qualification standards consistently should be established. Fourth, the qualifications and types of nurses by area prescribed by Article 54 of the Health and Medical Act are not consistent with those of special nurses as recognized by affiliated organizations of the Korean Nurse Association and some hospitals. Accordingly, the qualifications and types of special nurses should be adjusted in consideration of special nurses. Fifth, as Article 16, Paragraph 2 of the Health and Medical Act does not prescribe the type and scope of first - aid treatment that nurses can provide, the first-aid treatment of nurses might be considered as an unlicensed practice. The specific regulations regarding these matters should be established. Sixth, the contents of the nursing record, which are prescribed by Article 21 of the Health and Medical Act as a duty, include 1) matters concerning body temperature, pulse, breath and blood pressure 2) matters concerning drug prescription 3) matters concerning input and output 4) matters concerning the treatment and nursing care (Article 17 of the Enforcement Regulations, Health and Medical Act). However, these matters are limited to basic nursing care and assistance in medical treatment. The new recording methods on nursing process are suggested to be adopted legally. Seventh, the prescription right entrusted to nurses which are prescribed by the School Health Act, the Special Act on Health and Medical Service for Rural Areas, and the Industrial Health and Safety Act are not consistent with the rights of nurses as prescribed by the Health and Medical Act. New regulations prescribing the partial right for medical treatment entrusted to nurses in consideration of the restraint of time and place in emergency situations should be established.
This study was conducted to analyse the current clinical education of pediatric nursing in baccalaurate nursing program, then to give basic data for enhancing the quality of future clinical education of pediatric nursing. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaire by mail from December 2001 to February 2002. The subjects were 29 schools of 50 baccalaurate nursing education programs. The data were analysed by double raters, researcher and assistant researcher. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Twenty-eight schools had the objectives of the clinical education of pediatric nursing, and 28 schools in pediatric ward, 23 schools in nursery, 22 schools in neonatal intensive care unit(NICU), 15 schools in objectives related to profession by clinical site. 2. Credits on clinical education of pediatric nursing were most 15 schools of 3 credits. 3. The clinical sites were mainly the hospital that sick children were admitted in. 4. The clinical teacher were 9 types including pediatric professor and field nurse. 5. On teacher's role, the professor instructed the case study and conference, and field nurse instructed the patient assignment and nursing procedures. 6. All of schools used explanation and conference as a method of clinical education, 1 or 2 schools used PBL or role play or field study. 7. On clinical education content, most of school included Apgar scoring system, physical examination in newborn assessment, respira- tion maintenance, temperature maintenance, infection prevention, nutrition, and bath in newborn care. 8. On clinical education content, most of school included care of incubator, phototheraty, infusion, gavage feeding and how to use the instruments in NICU. Eighteen schools included attachment promotion, and 20 schools case study. 9. On clinical education content, most of school included a checklist of nursing procedures, case study, assessment of growth and development in pediatric ward and other sites. 10.There were various evaluation types in scores, measuring items. In conclusion, the results of this study revealed that there were some discrepancy in the objectives and contents, clinical sites on hospital focused, teacher's role, and diversity of measurement items and ratings in clinical education of pediatric nursing. There is a need for a standardization of content, clinical site, and evaluation tool to improve a quality of clinical education of pediatric nursing based on this study.
Cerebrovascular diseases in Korea is an important health problem since mortality and mobidity have been increasing rapidly. Cerebrovascular diseases marked the 2nd rank of cause specific death rate in 1993. The ploblem of emotion after a stroke has received very little attention from the nursing profession until recently. Even the frequency of the emotional disorder after stroke is uncertain, and there has been very little research. Emotional disorder after stroke was related to limited social function, guilty conscience, helplessness, hopelessness, powerlessness, alienation, and damage of self-image. In the stroke patient, hope may be related to a rehabilitation or enhancing physical condition. Inspiring hope is necessary when stroke patients are unable to mobilize energy on their own behalf and perceive limited or no person choices available. Inspiring hope is an intervention that can be used with many nursing diagnoses, especially when feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, powerlessness, and depression are present. The nurse can inspire hope by understanding the hoping process. On the basis of this literature review, the following suggestions are prosed. 1) Qualitative studies on hope have been done to indentify variables that affect maintenance of hope in the chronically ill patients. 2) In the development of an instrument to measure hope, the validity, reliability, and cultural property of the hope have been estabilished.
Librarians long ago proclaimed themselves professionals. Until recently, however, librarians and information professionals gave very little thought to professional ethics, which have corne to play an increasingly important role in all areas in modern society. They have been stimulated to consider their specific domain within an ethical context now. Professional norms express obligations which include prescribing standards, principles of responsibilities, and rules of duties. Professional codes attempt to formulate the norms of professional ethics and are the basis for disciplinary measures of various kinds. This paper discusses professional properties and characteristics of libarianship with a special reference to the code of professional ethics. The codes of ethics of the American Library Association, the Library Association, and of the Japanese Library Association have been reviewed and compared. The arguments on the enforcibility of the professional codes of ethics, therefore, on their effectiveness have been discussed. Author concludes that, despite some doubts on the practical effectiveness of the ethics code expressed by a number of scholars, a code of ethics is very much required in the information professions. Properly disseminated, a code would enhance the status and standing of the profession by demonstrating concerns for the maintenance of the highest possible level of standards of professional services. It would also play an important role in raising consciousness of the clients by communicating the value of the works.
질병의 생물정신사회적 이해는 건강의 의미 있는 증진을 위해서 매우 중요한다. 건강의 유지와 증진은 신체적, 정신적, 사회적, 그리고 영적인 안녕감을 통하여 이루어진다. 건강은 단순한 상태와 삶의 목적이 아니며, 일상생활에서의 자원으로, 개인적, 사회적뿐만 아니라 신체적 능력의 긍정적 개념이다. 한편 의료 체계에서 생물정신사회적 모델의 이해 역시 매우 중요하다. Engel은 의사들의 교육 및 진료에서 생의학적 접근을 비판하고, 새로운 모델인 생물정신사회적 모델을 주장하였다. Engel은 인간을 특정한 방법으로 자신의 건강을 위해하거나 증진시킬 수 있는 생물학적, 정신적, 사회적 존재로 보았다. 질병의 생물정신사회적 모델의 중요함에도 불구하고, 우리나라의 의료는 질병의 생의학적 모델에만 중점을 두고 있다. 그 결과 한국의 의료가 기계화 되어가고 있고 비인간화 되어가고 있다. 저자는 한국 정신신체의학회 창립 20주년을 맞이함에 따라 우리나라 의료 체계 및 실제적인 임상 진료에서 질병의 생물정신사회적 모델의 중요성을 강조하고자 하였다.
Since patients with strokes occupy a high priority among patients for home nursing, the development of guidelines for such nursing is required and the needs of these patients should be reflected in the guidelines. Therefore, this study was done to identify the content and levels of home nursing for patients with strokes and to utilize the data in developing the most effective home nursing guidelines for these patients. The level of A, D. L. and the ability to control upper extremities were measured, and through a questionnaire. the needs for home nursing and related variables were also evaluated. The subjects for the study were 121 patients, 58 inpatients and 63 home care patients who had had a Stroke. Data collection was done from September 1996 to January 1997. The collected data were analyzed utilizing SPSS /PC, and the results are as follows : 1. Home nursing need of inpatients The priority order of home nursing needs for inpatients was : "Training in emergency treatments and how to cope with a stroke"(2.28+1.06), next, "Explanation of diets as limited or recommended", and last, "Nursing care for sleeping Problems". 2. Home nursing need home of patients The priority order of home nursing needs for home patients was : "Care for the paralyzed side" (2, 89+.34), next, "Maintenance of right posture and how to change position" (2.87+.34), and last, "Counseling on sex". 3. Comparison of the levels of home nursing needs between in patients and home patients The results of analyses of home nursing needs according to causes were grouped into seven categories : and t-tests of the seven categories showed significant differences between the two groups in all categories, that is, the level of home nursing needs were significantly higher for home patients than for inpatients in all categories of home nursing. 4. Level of home nursing needs by characteristics The variables that have affected the level of home nursing needs for these patients were sex, profession, level of education, accompanying diseases, paralyzed position. A.D.L. levels and ability levels in coordinating upper extremities. There variables, displayed a reverse correlation with the level of home nursing needs, and the degree of correlation was high. In conclusion, the above results, show there were differences in the priority order of home nursing needs between inpatients and home patients : but the content of home nursing needs wanted by these patients was similar. Meanwhile, the levels of demand for home nursing was exceptionally higher on the part of home patients than inpatients. Although it is realized that nursing guidelines for home nursing needs in all items need to be developed, there is also a necessity to guidelines in accordance with priority orders, and with consideration of the factors that affect the level of home nursing needs. of the factors that affect the level of home nursing needs.

1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
