MES개선을 위한 RFID 적용 -EPCIS 확장모형을 중심으로- (Application of RFID System for MES Enhancement -Focused on EPCIS Expended Model-)

  • 최근 기업에서의 생산물류 과정은 각 공정의 진척상황과 생산실적, 품질정보 등을 실시간으로 수집하기 위하여 작업일지에 생산현황을 수기로 기록하거나, 바코드(Bar-code)를 주로 활용하고 있으며, 이는 작업자의 기록을 일일이 확인하거나, 작업자가 일일이 바코드 스케너로 판독해야하는 부가적인 작업을 필요로 한다. 이때 고의나 실수로 인하여 데이터의 정확성이 떨어지게 되고, 이는 시스템 전체의 신뢰성 문제가 발생하게 되며, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 최근 자동인식 분야에서 각광을 받고 있는 RFID를 도입하고 있다. RFID는 무선통신기술을 사용하여 대상물체에 직접 접촉하지 않고도 해당 정보를 판독하거나 기록할 수 있는 자동식별 기술로서, 최근 EPCglobal의 RFID 태그표준인 Gen2 및 EPCIS 표준이 제정됨으로써 전산업으로 확산될 전망이다. 본 논문에서는 EPCIS확장모형을 중심으로 MES개선을 위해 제조물류 흐름을 분석하는 RFID식 Modeling Notation을 제안하고, 제조업의 EPCISEvent Template을 제안하였다.

철강 제조 MES의 마이크로서비스 아키텍처 적용 구축사례 연구 (A Case Study on Implementing Microservice Architecture in Steel Manufacturing MES)

  • Recently, the application of microservice architecture has been increasing as information systems have shifted to cloud environments. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the case of applying microservice architecture to MES in the manufacturing field, summarize the results of how it was applied in practice, and find out the effects of the application. Based on the improvement project by applying microservice architecture to the existing steel manufacturing MES, 11 principles of microservice application were derived through literature research, and the implementation process and results were summarized according to these principles. In addition, through a comparison of systems in the service industry and the manufacturing industry, we investigated why the application of microservices was more active in the service industry and whether the application in the manufacturing industry can be expected to have the same effect. We also evaluated the results and changes in the overall system after implementation. In particular, we analyzed the SR (Service Request) processing status of users' requests for system changes and operators' requests to see how much the lead time was reduced. The results showed that 8 out of 11 microservice application principles were properly implemented according to the principles, but the remaining 3 were not applicable due to practical difficulties and organizational circumstances. Despite not following all of the principles, the project was able to be implemented without any problems, and the most noticeable change as a result of the microservices architecture was that the lead time was reduced by 9 days compared to the previous system. This proves that it is possible to quickly adapt to customer requirements, and it also proves that the system is more flexible and scalable than the existing monolithic system.

CO2 고부가화를 위한 로도박터 스페로이데스를 활용한 미생물 전기합성 최적화 연구 (Optimization of Microbial Electrosynthesis Using Rhodobacter sphaeroides for CO2 Upcycling)

  • Emitted CO2 is an attractive material for microbial electrochemical CO2 reduction. Microbial electrochemical CO2 reduction (i.e., microbial electrosynthesis, MES) using biocatalysts has advantages compared to conventional CO2 reduction using electrocatalysts. However, MES has several challenges, including electrode performance, biocatalysts, and reactor optimization. In this study, an MES system was investigated for optimizing reactor types, counter electrode materials, and CO2-converting microorganisms to achieve effective CO2 upcycling. In autotrophic cultivation (supplementation of CO2 and H2), CO2 consumption of Rhodobacter sphaeroides was observed to be four times higher than that with heterotrophic cultivation (supplementation of succinic acid). The bacterial growth in an MES reactor with a single-chambered shape was two times higher than that with a double chamber (H-type MES reactor). Moreover, a single-chambered MES reactor equipped with titanium mesh as the counter electrode (anode) showed markedly increased current density in the graphite felt as a working electrode (cathode) compared to that with a graphite felt counter electrode (anode). These results demonstrate that the optimized conditions of a single chamber and titanium mesh for the counter electrode have a positive effect on microbial electrochemical CO2 reduction.

  • 국내외 여러 지역에 공장을 가동하고 있는 제조업체의 경우, 단위 공장의 가동 상황을 통합하여 전체적으로 모니터링하고 관리해야 할 필요성이 증대되고 있으나, 기존 제조실행시스템은 이러한 요구를 반영하지 못하고 있어, 이를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 개별 공장의 각 제조실행 시스템과 연동하면서 전체 공장의 가동 현황을 통합하여 인터넷/웹 기반에서 실시간으로 모니터링할 수 있는 시스템을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시된 시스템 구조, 수행 기능과 관리해야 할 DATA는 상당한 표준화과정을 거쳤으며, 타 제조업체에서도 활용이 가능할 것이다.

자동차 변속기 부품 이동의 효율적 관리를 위한 출하관리 시스템 모형 -자동차 부품 제조업을 중심으로- (Shipment Management System Model for Efficient Management of Transferring Automobile Transmission Parts -In Automobile Parts Manufacturing Industry-)

  • This paper suggests a specific model that could efficiently improve the interaction and the interface between MES(Manufacturing Execution System) server and PDA terminal through RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system and bar-code system in automative transmission shipment place of the finished assembly parts. The proposed model shows that the new method by RF-Tag system can more efficiently perform to reduce processing time and loading time for shipment, compared with the current approach by bar-code system. It is noted in case of the method by RF-Tag that the effects of proposed model are as follows; (a) While the shipping lead time per truck for carrying by the current method was 35 minutes, the shipping lead time by the new method was 15 minutes. (b) While the accuracy for carrying by the current method was 50%, the accuracy by the new method was 99%.

정비작업의 생산성 향상을 위한 전자문서자동화시스템 모형 - 건설장비 정비작업을 중심으로 - (Electronic Document Automation System Model for Improving Productivity in maintenance work - in Inspection Process of Construction Equipment Maintenance -)

  • This paper suggests a specific model that could efficiently improve the interaction and the interface between MES(Manufacturing Execution System) server and POP(Point of Production) terminal through electronic document server and electronic pen, bluetooth receiver and form paper in disassembly and process inspection works. The proposed model shows that the new method by electronic document automation system can more efficiently perform to reduce processing time for maintenance work, compared with the current approach by handwritten processing system. It is noted in case of the method by electronic document automation system that the effects of proposed model are as follows; (a) While the processing time per equipment for maintenance by the current method was 300 minutes, the processing time by the new method was 50 minutes. (b) While the processing error ratio by the current method was 20%, the error ratio by the new method was 1%.

생산정보시스템의 도입시 고려 사항에 관한 연구 (A Study on Considerations for Implementations of Production Information Systems)

  • 원가절감 압력을 받고 있는 중소제조업체들은 공정개선, 실시간 작업 관리 등을 통해 생산성 향상을 도모하고 있다. 이를 위해 POP, MES 등 생산정보시스템의 활용이 중소제조업체로 확산되고 있으나 이에 관한 연구가 많지 않다. 본 논문에서는 관련 선행 연구와 사례연구를 바탕으로 중소제조업체의 의사결정권자가 생산정보시스템 도입시 고려해야할 다음의 3가지 주요 사항에 대한 가이드라인을 제시한다. 첫째, 생산정보시스템의 도입에 따른 기업 성과는 긍정적으로 나타나는가? 둘째, 생산정보시스템의 성공적인 도입을 위해 반드시 관리 되어야할 주요 요인들은 무엇인가? 셋째, 도입 후 어느 정도 시간이 경과하여야 시스템 도입의 성과가 실현되는가? 본 논문은 생산정보시스템의 도입을 고려하고 있는 기업에게 실무적인 시사점을 제시한다.

스마트 팩토리의 제조 프로세스 마이닝에 관한 실증 연구 (An Empirical Study on Manufacturing Process Mining of Smart Factory)

  • Manufacturing process mining performs various data analyzes of performance on event logs that record production. That is, it analyzes the event log data accumulated in the information system and extracts useful information necessary for business execution. Process data analysis by process mining analyzes actual data extracted from manufacturing execution systems (MES) to enable accurate manufacturing process analysis. In order to continuously manage and improve manufacturing and manufacturing processes, there is a need to structure, monitor and analyze the processes, but there is a lack of suitable technology to use. The purpose of this research is to propose a manufacturing process analysis method using process mining and to establish a manufacturing process mining system by analyzing empirical data. In this research, the manufacturing process was analyzed by process mining technology using transaction data extracted from MES. A relationship model of the manufacturing process and equipment was derived, and various performance analyzes were performed on the derived process model from the viewpoint of work, equipment, and time. The results of this analysis are highly effective in shortening process lead times (bottleneck analysis, time analysis), improving productivity (throughput analysis), and reducing costs (equipment analysis).

  • In this paper, when manufacturing large/multi-mold parts (more than 30 core parts),A mold manufacturing (tolerance) management system was established through design-processing linkage.The mold manufacturing (tolerance) management system is a design-based measurement shape/measurement position determination system, M/C processing-linked measurement drive system,It is composed of four parts: CAD-linked measurement result analysis system and manager mold part quality management system.In addition, the constructed system was applied to the field and the effect of system construction was evaluated by comparing it with the existing process.As a result of the evaluation, the measurement precision is within 0.02mm, and the time it takes to measure after the end of processing is shorter than that of the existing process.(12 hours → 2 hours) It was shortened to 16.7%.In addition, it was confirmed that the time required for reprocessing after measurement was reduced by 25% (4 hours → 1 hour) compared to the existing process.

  • The aim of this study is to design a electrogoniometer for the measurement of three dimensional human elbow joint rotations. Using this device and visual monitor, we measured the angle of elbow joint rotations during the goal-directed movements. And we extracted myoelectric signals(MES) to verify the inter-relationship of elbow joint activities and constructed a system for the analysis of the spectrum for MES. The data obtained from this system will be used for the controller signal of prosthetic arm.
