A 2.5V 80dB 360MHz CMOS Variable Gain Amplifier (2.5V 80dB 360MHz CMOS 가변이득 증폭기)

  • This paper describes a 2.5V 80dB 360MHz CMOS VGA. A new variable degeneration resistor is proposed where the dc voltage drop over the degeneration resistor is minimized and employed in designing a low-voltage and high-speed CMOS VGA. HSPICE simulation results using a 0.25${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS process parameters show that the designed VGA provides a 3dB bandwidth of 360MHz and a 80dB gain control range in 2dB step. Gain errors are less than 0.4dB at 200MHz and less than 1.4dB at 300MHz. The designed circuit consumes 10.8mA from a 2.5V supply and its die area is 1190${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$$\times$360${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.

  • We developed a high performance 2.2" active matrix OLED display for IMT-2000 mobile phone. Scan and Data driver circuits were integrated on the glass substrate, using low temperature poly-Si(LTPS) TFT CMOS technology. High efficiency EL materials were employed to the panel for low power consumption. Peak luminescence of the panel was higher than 250cd/$m^2$ with power consumption of 200mW.

Optimal Pumping Rate of a Water Well at Imgokri, Sangju City (상주시 임곡리 굴착공의 적정양수량 결정)

  • We have determined the optimal pumping rate of the PW-2 water well (depth=100 m) at Imgokri, Sangju City. Cutting analysis and geophysical logging data reveal water-producing horizons at 26.1-26.5, 28.0-30.0, 33, 58, and 71 m. For pumping rates of 40, 55, 70, 90, and $132m^3/d$ over 70 days, the estimated drawdown from the PW-2 well was 6.48, 11.56, 18.07, 28.99 and 60.26 m, respectively. During a constant-rate pumping test at a rate of $117m^3/d$, the cone of depression intersected an impermeable boundary after 120-150 min of pumping. Therefore, we consider the critical pumping rate for well PW-2 to be $90m^3/d$. After pumping at $90m^3/d$ for 70 days, the calculated drawdown was 28.82-31.27 m. We suggest an optimal pumping rate for well PW-2 of $70-90m^3/d$, as the optimal pumping rate should be similar to the critical pumping rate. Sharp increases in the slope of the time-drawdown relationship, dissolved oxygen concentrations, and oxidation-reduction potential during the constant-rate pumping test indicate the limited development of bedrock aquifers around PW-2.

Effect of Fertigation Concentration on Yield of Tomato and Salts Accumulation in Soils with Different EC Level Under PE Film House (토양의 EC 수준에 따른 관비공급 농도가 시설토마토 수량과 토양의 염류집적에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the concentration of fertigation for optimum yield and soil management of tomato cultivation in soils with different Electrical conductivity (EC) level under PE film house. The EC levels of soil were adjusted to 1.4, 3.0 and 5.4 dS/m and fertigation concentrations were supplied with 0.0 (groundwater), 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 dS/m, respectively. When the concentration of fertigation was supplied over 3.0 dS/m to soil with EC 1.4 dS/m, the concentrations of $NO_3-N,\;avail.-P_2O_5$, and exchangeable K in soil were increased after the experiment. When fertigation concentration was supplied over 2.0 and 1.0 ds/m to soil with EC 3.0 and 5.4 dS/m respectively, the nutrient were also accumulated in the soil. Thus, the optimum concentrations of fertigation for optimum yield and soil management for tomato cultivation were recommended $1.0{\sim}2.0dS/m$, 1.0 dS/m and ground water (0.0 dS/m) to soils with EC 1.4, 3.0 and 5.4 dS/m, respectively. The fruit weight marketability and marketable yield of tomato were not significant among the treatments at 5% level by LSD. The concentrations of T-N, $P_2O_5\;and\;K_2O$ in tomato leaf were increased with increasing of fertigation concentration whereas the concentrations of CaO and MgO decreased with increasing of fertigation concentration.

  • In this paper we give a new characterization of real hypersurfaces of type B, that is, a tube over a totally geodesic $\mathbb{Q}P^n$ in complex two-plane Grassmannians $G_2(\mathbb{C}^{m+2})$, where m = 2n, with the Reeb vector $\xi$ belonging to the distribution $\mathfrak{D}$, where $\mathfrak{D}$ denotes a subdistribution in the tangent space $T_xM$ such that $T_xM$ = $\mathfrak{D}{\bigoplus}\mathfrak{D}^{\bot}$ for any point $x{\in}M$ and $\mathfrak{D}^{\bot}=Span{\xi_1,\;\xi_2,\;\xi_3}$.

Let D : $R{\rightarrow}R$ be a skew derivation of R and $E(x)=D(x^{m+n+r})-D(x^m)x^{n+r}-x^mD(x^n)x^r-x^{m+n}D(x^r)$. We prove that if $E(x)=0$ for all $x{\in}L$, then D is a usual derivation of R or R satisfies $s_4(x_1,{\ldots},x_4)$, the standard identity of degree 4.

  • Let (R,m) be a commutative Noetherian local ring. In this paper we show that a finitely generated R-module M of dimension d is Cohen-Macaulay if and only if there exists a proper ideal I of R such that depth($M/I^nM$) = d for $n{\gg}0$. Also we show that, if dim(R) = d and $I_1{\subset}\;{\cdots}\;{\subset}I_n$ is a chain of ideals of R such that $R/I_k$ is maximal Cohen-Macaulay for all k, then $n{\leq}{\ell}_R(R/(a_1,{\ldots},a_d)R)$ for every system of parameters $a1,{\ldots},a_d$ of R. Also, in the case where dim(R) = 2, we prove that the ideal transform $D_m(R/p)$ is minimax balanced big Cohen-Macaulay, for every $p{\in}Assh_R$(R), and we give some equivalent conditions for this ideal transform being maximal Cohen-Macaulay.

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (i.e., drone) are gaining a lot of interest from a wide range of application domains such as infrastructure monitoring and parcel delivery service. In those service scenarios, multiple UAVs are involved and should be reliably operated by so-called UAV management system. For that, we propose oneM2M standard based UAV management and control system which is specifically targeted at traffic management of low-altitude UAVs. In this paper, we include oneM2M platform architecture and its implementation for UAV management system in conjunction with UAV interworking procedure.
