Anti-lock Braking System for Commercial Vehicles with Pneumatic Brake System by Using Slip Ratio (슬립률을 이용한 상용차용 공압식 브레이크 기반 ABS 알고리즘 개발)

  • This paper presents an anti-lock braking system for commercial vehicles with pneumatic brake system by using slip ratio. By virtue of system reliability, most commercial vehicles adopt pneumatic brake system. However, pneumatic brake systems control is more difficult than hydraulic systems due to a longer time delay and the system nonlinearity. One of the major factors in generating braking forces is the wheel slip ratio. Accordingly, the proposed ABS strategy employs the slip ratio threshold-based valve on/off control. This threshold-based algorithm is simple but effective to control the pneumatic brake systems. The control performance of the proposed algorithm has been validated via simulation studies using MATLAB/Simulink and Trucksim. The results show ABS by using slip ratio reduces the braking distance and improves vehicle control.

  • 실시간 운영체제는 태스크 수행의 논리적인 정확성뿐만 아니라 시간적인 정확성도 만족하는 스케줄링을 하는 운영체제이다. 태스크가 공유자원을 사용할 때 가용한 자원이 없으면 그 자원을 얻기 위해 기다리는 Pending 상태가 된다. 이러한 상태가 일반적인 상황에서 발생하면 스케줄러에 의해서 적절하게 관리되지만 인터럽트 상태나 시그널 상태와 같은 특수한 경우에 발생하면 데이터의 충돌이나 심지어 실시간 운영체제가 붕괴되는 상황이 발생할 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 상용 RTOS 에서는 개발자가 ISR 에서 이러한 상황이 발생하지 않도록 주의 깊게 사용할 것을 경고하며, 커널 내부적으로는 복잡한 처리과정을 거쳐 해결할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 상황이 발생할 가능성이 있을 때 PENDING LOCK/UNLOCK 함수를 사용하여 개발자에게 개발상의 편의를 제공하고, 실시간 운영체제의 안정성 및 신뢰성을 보장할 수 있도록 설계 및 구현한 내용을 기술한다.

  • This study can be solved a means of authentication of electronic financial transactions. We suggest that smart devices can be useful to authenticate in electronic financial transactions regardless of time and place. Our new authentication method named Lock-Unlock authentication method with smart devices. This method will be expected to reduce many kind of accidents (theft, phishing, hacking, certificates and simple certified OTP, ATM withdrawals, ARS, etc.) by account locking in electronic financial transactions. And helpful to users can effectively protect electronic financial transactions and minimize the accident during get a electronic trading.

Pull-in Characteristics of Delay Switching Phase-Locked Loop (Delay Switching PLL의 Pull-in 특성)

  • A delay switching PLL (DSPLL) is proposed for improvement of the frequency acquisition Performance (pull-in range) while keeping a narrow bandwidth LPF. It has, between the phase detector and the LPF, just a simple RC delay circuit, a switch and another phase detector controlling the switching time. For the common second order PLL, the pull-in capability of the DSPLL is analyzed approximately, without considering additive white noise effect, and verified experimentally. It is shown that the delay switching extends the pull-in range significantly, as much as a half of lock-range. At the phase tracking mode, the delay switching does not function, to make the DSPLL be a normal PLL.

  • For the first time, PLL frequency synthesizer using DDS was adapted for the data link communication system which should fast transmit and receive each other with the correct information and fast Hopping System. It is inevitable to lost the synchronization by slow lock time about PLL and no cut off the noise. This paper propose the design of PLL frequency synthesizer which can make 800MHz frequency range. The PLL frequency synthesizer has three high qualities those are frequency accuracy, fast lock time and outstanding phase noise.

An Efficient Concurrency Control Algorithm for Multi-dimensional Index Structures (다차원 색인구조를 위한 효율적인 동시성 제어기법)

  • In this paper. we propose an enhanced concurrency control algorithm that minimizes the query delay efficiently. The factors that delay search operations and deteriorate the concurrency of index structures are node splits and MBR updates in multi dimensional index structures. In our algorithm, to reduce the query delay by split operations, we optimize exclusive latching time on a split node. It holds exclusive latches not during whole split time but only during physical node split time that occupies small part of whole split time. Also to avoid the query delay by MBR updates we introduce partial lock coupling(PLC) technique. The PLC technique increases concurrency by using lock coupling only in case of MBR shrinking operations that are less frequent than MBR expansion operations. For performance evaluation, we implement the proposed algorithm and one of the existing link technique-based algorithms on MIDAS-III that is a storage system of a BADA-III DBMS. We show through various experiments that our proposed algorithm outperforms the existing algorithm In terms of throughput and response time.

  • In recent years, bicycle craze has been blowing in Korea, and bicycle has become a means of transportation near. In addition, there is a lot of interest in the Internet of things, and recently there is a lot of interest in the Internet of things. However, despite the development of the bicycle market, the bicycle cradle does not have such a development, and it still has a drawback in that it requires a separate lock for the lock. In this regard, I would like to find some problems and solve them. In this paper, we have implemented a system that can control the location and use of the bicycle cradle in real time by communicating with the app and Arduino so that it can help the collection and retrieval of the bicycle which is the problem of the current bicycle cradle. n addition, we propose a method to establish a shared economic system based on Internet of things by providing shared services with acquaintances and others, and to improve user convenience by providing real - time services.

  • In this paper, we propose a concurrency control algorithm based on R-tree for spatial database management system. The previous proposed algorithms can't prevent problem that search operation is to be blocking during update operations. In case of multidimensional indexes like R-tree, locking of update operations may be locked to several nodes, and splitting of nodes have to lock a splitting node for a long time. Therefore search operations have to waiting a long time until update operations unlock. In this paper we propose new algorithms for lock-free search operation. First, we develop a new technique using a linked-list technique on the node. The linked-list enable lock-free search when search operations search a node. Next, we propose a new technique using a version technique. The version technique enable lock-free search on the node that update operations is to be splitting.

  • In this paper, we propose smart digital door lock system using heterogeneous communication. This system has efficient function using RF communication and Internet communication, and realizes access and real image of the passengers by combining camera control technology to secure original competitiveness with existing products. It uses the Internet of things and receive images to and from your smart-phone. And senses human behavior. In the simulated results, the image transmission rate of 90 % or more and the time required to transmit 10,000 images have an average transmission speed of 3 seconds. It is expected to secure competitiveness to increase the security of door lock in the future by enabling minimum security and fire monitoring service in real time.

  • An ultra-precise infrared microscope consisting of a high-resolution infrared objective lens and infrared sensors is utilized successfully to obtain location information on the plane and depth of local heat sources causing defects in a semiconductor device. In this study, multi-layer semiconductor chips are analyzed for the positional information of heat sources by using a lock-in infrared microscope. Optimal conditions such as focal position, integration time, current and lock-in frequency for measuring the accurate depth of the heat sources are studied by lock-in thermography. The location indicated by the results of the depth estimate, according to the change in distance between the infrared objective lens and the specimen is analyzed under these optimal conditions.
