Test Construction of the Paved Track at Subway Main Line (도시철도 본선 토공구간에서의 포장궤도 시험부설)

  • Recently, the development of the paved track is required as a low-maintenance of conventional line. The main reason is that the line capacity and bearing of track are increased progressively. The important factors of paved track are stability and applicability. To be based on this subject, cement mortar pouring type paved track is developed. The paved track is a kind of concrete track using the prepacked concrete technique. The most important thing to design the paved track is to optimize the track structure and materials considering various conditions. Until now, the paved track is verified a various material and structure test. In this paper, it is introduce to the test construction at the urban subway main line. The test construction is completed at Dec. 2007. A major object and substance is a guarantee of construction progress on main line, track performance, construction technique for curved section, transition zone and winter season, recycling the used ballast and application of specific sleeper for sharp curved section.

The Test-Retest Reliability of Subjective Visual Horizontal Testing: Comparisons between Solid and Dotted Line Images

  • The present study aimed to determine the test-retest reliability of subjective visual horizontal (SVH) testing when tested with solid and dotted line images. In this repeated measures study, 36 healthy young Malaysian adults (mean age=23.3±2.3 years, 17 males and 19 females) were enrolled. All of them were healthy and had no hearing, vestibular, balance, or vision problems. The SVH angles were recorded from each participant in an upright body position using a computerized device. They were asked to report their horizontality perception for solid and dotted line images (in the presence of a static black background). After 1 week, the SVH procedure was repeated. The test-retest reliability of SVH was found to be good for both solid line [intraclass correlation (ICC)=0.80] and dotted line (ICC=0.78). As revealed by Bland-Altman plots, for each visual image, the agreements of SVH between the two sessions were within the clinically accepted criteria (±2°). The SVH testing was found to be temporally reliable, which can be clinically beneficial. Both solid and dotted lines in the SVH testing are reliable to be used among young adults.

  • We present the efficient test wrapper design methodology considering the layout distance of scan chain. To test the scan chains in SoC, the scan chains must be assigned to external TAM(Test Access Mechanism) lines. The scan chains in IP were placed and routed without any timing violation at normal mode. However, in test mode, the scan chains have the additional layout distance after TAM line assignment, which can cause the timing violation of flip-flops in scan chains. This paper proposes a new test wrapper design considering layout distance of scan chains with timing violation free.

  • This paper proposes an expert system which is able to enhance the accuracy and productivity by determining the test strategy based on heuristic rules for test of the hybrid electronic circuit board producted massively in production line. The test heuristic rules are obtained from test system designer, test experts and experimental results. The guarding method separating the tested device with circumference circuit of the device is adopted to enhance the accuracy of measurements in the test of analog devices. This guarding method can reduce the error occurring due to the voltage drop in both the signal input line and the measuring line by utilizing heuristic rules considering the device impedance and the parallel impedance. Also, PSA(Parallel Signature Analysis) technique Is applied for test of the digital devices and circuits. In the PSA technique, the real-time test of the high integrated device is possible by minimizing the test time forcing n bit output stream from the tested device to LFSR continuously. It is implemented in Visual C++ computer language for the purpose of the implementation of the inference engine using the dynamic memory allocation technique, the interface with the electronic circuit database and the hardware direct control. Finally, the effectiveness of the builded expert system is proved by simulating the several faults occurring in the mounting process the electronic devices to the surface of PCB for a typical hybrid electronic board and by identifying the results.

  • In this paper, we introduce the network infrastructure in an advanced emu test line in Deabul. New technology has been applied to advanced EMU(DMU, integrated broadcasting system, black box and etc). In order to efficient and safely test of new developed train, failure, operation, status of test line and weather information should be monitored in real time. We has implemented a wireless and optical network infrastructure for reliability and scalability. The wireless communication capability between a car and ground is 20Mbps and back-hole network has 50Mbps of the communication performance. The network between test tracks and control office was established in the optical network. That can improve communication reliability.

  • The KTX-Sancheon has been commercially operating on the high-speed line since March. 2. In order to verify the performance of high-speed train and core equipments such as current collection system, sophisticated tests and evaluating procedures should have been considering. In this paper, the load cell with a built-in strain-gauge which developed to improve measuring method of contact force between the pantograph and catenary system is introduced. The static test results of the load cell shows that its design is very suitable and applicable for the dynamic test and on-line test. After the test and evaluation of load cell's dynamic calibration with pantograph, we will be applied to test interaction characteristics between the pantograph and catenary system on the high-speed line.

  • The KNR wayside and onboard subsystem has completed commissioning tests applicable to the Pilot Line section by BOMBARDIER. Andreas Hardt/Assessor and Rod Muttram/VP, Quality & safety approved the Automatic Train Protection(ATP) System. However additional evidences are necessary to come to a Specific Application, which is mandatory to approve the Generic Applications included for commercial running on the overall main line railway with ATP. According to Factory Acceptance Test plan, CBC, CBF, LEU(Line Electronic Unit) made by domestic factory is tested by official recognition test Standards-Setting Agency. It is important to verify quality which form checklist during Factory Acceptance Test. In this paper, review the process, test item, norm and checklist for the CBC, CBF, LEU.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the cosmetic purchasing behavior influenced by make-up preference images, and the orders of importance in the cosmetic store selection. The questionnaires were given to female residents in the ages between $20{\sim}45$ in Seoul and Kyung-gi province. 322 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 10.0 software with various techniques such as Frequency analysis, Factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ reliability analysis, Paired t-test, ANOVA test and Duncan test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. After investigating how the make-up preference image influences the selection of the off-line cosmetic store, it was found out that the personal service, shopping convenience, and product composition had significant differences. 2. After investigating how the make-up preference image influences the selection of the on-line cosmetic store, it was found out that only the product composition had significant difference. 3. After studying the factors that influence the off-line cosmetic store selection, it was found that the personal service was considered most important. After studying the factors that influence the on-line cosmetic store selection, it was found that the price was considered most important.

Evaluation of Flow Characteristics within In-Line Mixer for Water Treatment using CFD Technique (CFD모사 기법을 이용한 관내 혼화장치내 흐름 특성 평가)

  • The modified in-line mixer which was suggested in this study for small water treatment facilities was evaluated on the performance of coagulation. For the objectives of this research, computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation was applied for analysis of flow characteristics within the modified in-line mixer. For verifying the results of CFD simulation, wet tests for the pilot plant were conducted. The wet test was to measure the actual coagulant dispersion distribution on the overall cross-section at a distance of 5.5D from the chemical injection point. From the results of CFD simulation and wet test, it was shown that the coagulant dispersion within the modified in-line mixer was occurred more uniformly than within the existing PDM(Pump diffusion Mixer). The results have confirmed the modified in-line mixer had several advantages compared with the existing PDM in terms of dispersion efficiency.
