  • Presently, because making process of train service plan consist of various constraint condition, for example structure of track, structure of track in station, train maintenance time and others for considering to be necessary of train management, it has been had extremely complex structure problems. For these reasons, it has big problems to compare analysis for various train service time-table. A study suggest methodology to choice service the most effective schedule and plan of train put before comparative analysis on making train diamond picture's expected effect of established possible various train time-table in making process of train service schedule for improving effectiveness and organization of train service schedule establishment. A study uses Line-Blocking theory for analyzing train service time-table and analyze example for regional train Sadang to Ansan section in 4line.

  • This paper analyses the decision process of the Gilhoe Line construction of the Manchurian Railway and consignment process of the North Korea Line to the South Manchuria Railways as part of the 12-year Chosun railway plan. It was found that these two events were connected and could be explained by Japan's consistent continental policy, which had expanded its territory toward China. This paper explicates Japan's railroad policy and the characteristics of the Chosun railway. Moreover, evidence to identify connections among Japan's national railway, the Manchurian railway, and the Chosun railway has been scrutinized. One territory policy between Chosun and Manchuria is also examined. Comparison of new resources on the Gilhoe Line construction of the Manchurian railway and the 12-year plan of the Chosun railway, and their correlations, is expounded. This paper elucidates that the Gilhoe Line construction and the North Korea line consignment operation by the South Manchuria Railways had the intention of obtaining Japanese military and economic supremacy over East Asia.

  • Designing a production and equipment investment plan for semiconductors, many variables must be taken into account. However, depending on these variables could bring many changes to the plans, and the end result is hard to predict. Because it's hard to predict the end result, it's never easy to make a standard production plan. So, the goal of this project is to design a production plan based on past marketing patterns to satisfyall the variables and come up with a reasonable thesis on a standardized process.

  • This paper aims to interpret the transformation process of town plan of Gosan-up(高山), which was provincial administrative focus town in Josun dynasty, basing on morphological viewpoint. Morphological concepts, such as morphological frame, urban plan, kernel, colonization, route system, fixation line, fringe belt, plan unit & plan division, morphological period derived from the study of Conzen, M.R.G. and Caniggia, G. epidome district, break point, broken plot, urban fallow, privatization are adopted for the interpretation of urban form. Morphological period of Gosan can be divided in four ; formation of kernel & morphological structure, disintegration & redevelopment of the kernel, augmentative development of the kernel & formation of modern epidome district, outwards expanding of urbanized area, transition & reorganization of epidome district. Especially public leading projects such as construction of new regional connection road and public facilities such as myeon(township) office, agricultural cooperatives federation office, market, are main factors of morphological transformation of townplan. In the early stage, under the Japanese imperialism, construction of the new matrix route(Gosan-ro) through the kernel and followed planned routes gave way to disintegrating traditional areal plan unit and forming small block plan units in administrative facilities area. And linear plan units with commercial buildings were formed along the new matrix route and planned route adjacent to periodical market. In the latter stage, with development of public facilities, private sectors' large circulation institution and terminal outside the kernel with planned routes formed areal block based plan units with commercial and public buildings. And part of the spatial area with the linear plan unit were turned into urban fallow. With the transformation of town plan, new roads outside the kernel have substituted for traditional fixation line of waterway with road and topographical feature. Fringe belts were made successively along the new road and around the major intersections outside of existing urbanized area. Land use in fringe belts, constituting of outer locational tendency early on formation, was gradually replaced with commercial & business buildings.

  • Shinbundang-line is new Metropolitan Railway which was invested by private capital and is under construction for opening in 2010. Now Shinbundang-line pursues various innovation, for example, an express train which uses long distance of each station, and an unmanned operation. And it may be independent of existing metropolitan railway system from a viewpoint of line and fare system. So according to the present plan, Shinbundang-line will be not able to get sufficient demand because of weak connection with existing lines and monotonous function of the line. And it may be difficult to deliver various innovation which Shinbundang-line prepares to passengers. Hereupon, in this paper, I propose 3 methods for increasing competitive power of Shinbundang-line railway. First, making Shinbundang-line a trunk railway line of southern metropolitan area was proposed in relation to northern and southern extension of it. In addition connection with bus and light rail was discussed. Second, multipurpose usage of Shinbundang-line was proposed as express train and conventional passenger train in that line in addition to simple metropolitan railway. Finally, an effective operation method which Shinbundang-line must have was proposed from unmanned driving and fare system side. These methods can improve Shinbundang-line and then it will solve traffic congestion of southern metropolitan area effectively.

  • Line capacity calculation has been used to determine optimum efficiency and safe train service for train scheduling plan and investment priority order throughout detecting bottleneck section. Because of some problems of Yamagisi and UIC methods for line capacity calculation, developing of the method of line capacity calculation and evaluation for the Korea circumstance is important. This paper deals with the integrated system of TPS(Train Performance Simulator), PES(Parameter Evaluation Simulator), LCS (Line Capacity Simulator) and sensitivity analysis for line capacity calculation model.

  • Line Capacity is a criteria for transport capacity and is used to evaluate railroad investment alternatives or to decide train frequency when establish transportation plan. There are two methodologies to increase transport capacity of railway. One is to invest railroad equipment or vehicles, and the other is to improve operation efficiency through optimization. Such all efforts are intended to increase transport capacity by improving line capacity. So far, this criteria is calculated statical and experimental numerical formula. But, line capacity has special attribute that changes dynamically according to operational conditions, so there is a need of new line capacity estimation system. In this paper, we present a new estimation method of line capacity based on the probability simulation, and apply to normal railline section and special structured railine section.
