The Factor Analysis of Information and Communication Technology Literacy for Primary School Students in South Korea

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors of ICT literacy in the primary school students in South Korea and to examine the gender and city size difference on the factor of ICT literacy. To accomplish this goal, we have analyzed the data of Korea Youth Competency Measurement and International Comparative Study I: ICCS 2016 which is nationally collected from the primary school students, currently on the 5 ~ 6th grades in South Korea. 1,188 samples were used in the study excluding missing samples. The participants were 584 5th grad and 604 6th grad students, 620 males (52.2%) and 568 females (47.8%). The mean age was 13.49 years (SD=.52). The result of the study reveals the four factors of ICT literacy through cross-validating exploratory factor analysis and confirmative factor analysis; pleasure of using ICT, perceived usefulness of using ICT, learning ability with using ICT, and operating ability of ICT. This study found that the leaner differ in gender on learning ability with using ICT and pleasure of using ICT. The female students were significantly larger than male students on learning ability with using ICT. However, the male students were significantly larger than male students on pleasure of using ICT. This study found that the leaner differ in city size on the factors of ICT literacy excluding pleasure of using ICT. The students living in the big size city were significantly larger than the students living in the middle and small. That is, over all, female students were more learning with ICT, male students were more interesting about ICT, and the students living in the big size city were more ICT use for learning. Based on the results, some strategies were suggested on the proper use of the factors of ICT in education.

전문대학생용 학습전략 진단 척도의 온라인 활용을 위한 재타당화 연구 (Scale Revalidation Study for Online Use of the Learning Strategy Diagnostic Scale for Junior College)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 전문대학생용 학습전략 척도(K-Learning Strategy Scale for College)의 온라인 활용을 위해 학습인지와 학습정서 요인의 문항을 추가하고 재타당화하는 것이다. 전문대학생의 학습전략에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 학습인지, 학습행동, 학습정서의 하위요인을 각각의 항목별로 구체적으로 탐색하고 분석하는 것은 자기성찰과 학업성취도 향상을 위해 중요하다. 추가된 문항은 학습인지 요인의 학습정보처리 과정에서의 주의집중을 진단하는 2개 문항과 학습정서 요인의 타인에 대한 불안수준을 진단하는 대인불안 요인 2개 문항이다. 연구대상 지역은 전국 5개 지역으로 실시하였으며, 연구대상자는 불성실 응답 327명을 제외한 923명의 전문대학생이다. 수정된 K-LSS_r 척도는 학습인지(18문항), 학습정서(15문항), 학습행동(19문항)의 3개 영역 하위요소로 구성된 총 52문항의 전문대학생용 학습전략 진단 척도이며, 본 연구에서 일반화를 위한 신뢰도 검증 결과 척도 전체 Cronbach의 α 계수는 .896이었고, 3개 요인의 Cronbach의 α 계수는 .876에서 .910이었다. 척도의 반분신뢰도 계수는 전체가 .858이었고 3개 요인의 반분신뢰도계수는 .792에서 .843이었다. 5개 지역 소재 대학생 350명을 대상으로 3주간의 검사-재검사 신뢰도 검증 결과는 전체가 .884이었으며, 일반화를 위한 타당도 검증 결과에서 구인타당도가 통계적으로 유의한 정적상관을 나타내었다.

  • In this study, software products developed in the course of testing, software managers in the process of testing software test and test tools for effective learning effects perspective has been studied using the NHPP software. The finite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process models presented and the life distribution applied extreme distribution which used to find the minimum (or the maximum) of a number of samples of various distributions. Software error detection techniques known in advance, but influencing factors for considering the errors found automatically and learning factors, by prior experience, to find precisely the error factor setting up the testing manager are presented comparing the problem. As a result, the learning factor is greater than automatic error that is generally efficient model could be confirmed. This paper, a numerical example of applying using time between failures and parameter estimation using maximum likelihood estimation method, after the efficiency of the data through trend analysis model selection were efficient using the mean square error.

한국과 중국의 이러닝 만족도에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on e-Learning Satisfaction between Korea and China)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국과 중국의 이러닝 품질과 학습자의 이용동기가 이러닝 만족도에 미치는 영향력을 밝히는데 있다. 또한 두 국가 간 학습자들의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 비교 분석해 봄으로서 효과적인 이러닝 활용 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 경상북도에 소재한 Y대학과 K대학의 한국인 대학생과 중국 허난성에 소재한 A대학의 중국인 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 한국인 대학생은 학습시간, 학습공간, 학습과정, 유용성 그리고 이러닝 정보 품질, 서비스 품질이 이러닝 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중국인 대학생은 학습시간, 학습과정 그리고 이러닝 시스템 품질, 정보 품질, 서비스 품질이 이러닝 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그 중 서비스 품질은 두 국가 모두 이러닝 만족도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 나타났지만, 요인별 평균 점수는 매우 낮게 나타났다. 향후 서비스 품질을 개선할 방안에 대해서 논의하였다.

Exploring the Usage of the DEMATEL Method to Analyze the Causal Relations Between the Factors Facilitating Organizational Learning and Knowledge Creation in the Ministry of Education

  • Knowledge creation and management are regarded as critical success factors for an organization's survival in the knowledge era. As a process of knowledge acquisition and sharing, organizational learning mechanisms (OLMs) guide the learning function of organizations represented by its different learning activities. We examined a variety of learning processes that constitute OLMs. In this study, we aimed to capture the process and framework of OLMs and knowledge sharing and acquisition. Factors facilitating OLMs were investigated at three levels: individual, group, and organizational. The concept of an OLM has received some attention in the field of organizational learning, however, the relationship among the factors generating OLMs has not been empirically tested. As part of the ongoing discussion, we attempted a systemic approach for OLMs. OLMs can be represented by factors that are inherent to the organization's system; therefore, prior to empirically testing the OLM generating factor(s), evaluation of its organizational integration is required to determine effective treatment of each factor. Thus, we developed a framework to manage knowledge and proposed a method to numerically evaluate factors influencing the OLMs. Specifically, composite importance (CI) of the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method was applied to explore the interaction effect of these factors based on systemic approach. The augmented matrix thus generated is expected to serve as a stochastic matrix of an absorbing Markov chain.

  • Objective : This Study was conducted in order to develop the Learning Satisfaction (LS)and Learning Flow Scale(LFS) for Korean Medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology and to investigate the reliability and validity. Methods : LF and LFS were administered to 44 students and 20 resident physicians . We examined the test-retest reliability, internal consistency and perfomed factor analysis. Result : 1. Test-retest reliability were reliable on LS and LFS for Korean Medical Ophathalmology & Otolaryngology.2. Test-retest reliability were unreliable comparatively on LS and LFS for Korean Medical Dermatology.3. internal consistency were all reliable in LS and LFS Korean Medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology.4. factor analysis were reliable only LS of Korean Medical Dermatology. Conclusions : LS and LFS has reliability to measure learning satisfaction and learning flow of Korean Medical students. But there is no evidence about validity of LS and LFS for Korean Medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology.

관상동맥 우회술(CABG)환자의 심장재활에 대한 지식과 교육 요구도 조사 (Knowledge and Learning Needs of Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Patients on Cardiac Rehabilitation)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the knowledge and learning needs on cardiac rehabilitation of coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) patients. Method: The subjects consisted of 100 CABG patients at A hospital in Seoul. Data were collected by the two different kind of questionnaires which measure knowledge and learning needs on cardiac rehabilitation of CABG patients. The subjects responded the questionnaire on knowledge before CABG and that on learning needs before their discharge. Result: The mean score of knowledge on cardiac rehabilitation was 68.54. Knowledge on risk factor, nature of disease, diet, daily activity, medication, post operative care were great in order. The mean score of learning needs on cardiac rehabilitation was 4.28. Learning needs on diet, medication, nature of disease, post operative care, daily activity, risk factor were great in order. There were significant differences in knowledge according to occupation, economic status and family history(p=.021, p=.017, p=.023). There was a positive correlation between knowledge and learning needs(r=.3009, p=.002). Conclusion: Level of knowledge on cardiac rehabilitation of CABG patients is low and knowledge on postoperative care is the lowest, and learning needs are great in ail categories.

  • 본 논문은 대학 이러닝 수업에서 학생들의 자발적인 학습활동과 인터넷 수업기능의 활용, 학습 성공에 대한 이해정도가 학습 성취도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 대학에서 이러닝 수업을 듣고 있는 학생들 297명을 대상으로 설문분석을 통하여 핵심변인에 대한 요인들을 분석한 결과 인터넷 수업 시 자기주도성을 나타내는 다양한 요인들이 학생들의 자발성(자기주도성), 인터넷수업기능 활용성, 학습에 대한 성공요인 이해정도의 세 가지 카테고리로 분류되었다. 이 세 가지 요인변수들이 결과변수인 학생들의 성적에 미치는 영향을 분석한 연구결과, 자기주도적인 성향이 학습자 성취도에 유의미한 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 대학 이러닝 수업에서 다양한 상호작용적인 인터넷 활용기능이나 학습 성공에 대한 이해정도보다 학생들의 자발적 수업활동에 대한 직접적인 준비가 학습 성취에 결정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 향후 대학의 이러닝 수업에서 교수 학습 전략을 설계할 때 고려해야 하는 중요한 시사점이라 할 수 있다.

Development of An Inventory to Classify Task Commitment Type in Science Learning and Its Application to Classify Students' Types

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an inventory to classify task commitment types of science learning and to classify highschool students' task commitment types. Firstly, inventory questions were designed following the literature analysis on the task commitment components which involve self confidence, high goal setting, and focused attention. Prototype inventory underwent the content validity test, pilot test, and reliability test. Through these steps, final inventory was input to 462 high school students and underwent the factor analysis and cluster analysis. Factor analysis confirmed three components of task commitment as the three factors of inventory questions. In order to find how many clusters exist, factors of developed inventory became new variables. Each factor's factor mean was calculated and served as the new variable of the cluster analysis. Cluster analysis extracted five clusters as task commitment types. The 5 clusters were suggested by the agglomarative schedule and dendrogram gained from a hierarchical cluster analysis with the setting of the Ward algorithm and Squared Euclidean distance. Based on the factor mean score, traits of each cluster could be drawn out. Inventory developed by this study is expected to be used to identify student commitment types and assess the effectiveness of task commitment enhancement programs.
